Tim the Locksmith was really great, has arguably the best prices in Tampa. He does 6 or less locks for rekeys for 100$. That was really the best deal I've seen so far in Tampa. He's a really friendly guy, helped us with a door problem on our outside doors. He did the backs to our locks and gave us a set of keys each. I called yesterday afternoon and they said they could send someone out immediate. Unfortunately I couldn't be home then , but scheduled a call for the next AM. Tim was there by 9 and called first to let me know he was on the way. Very professional and had the front door lock/handle off and a new one back on in about 10 minutes or less. I asked him about my back door lock and he said it's not the lock, it's the key. He rekeyed new keys for me and was out the door in way under A half hour. Price was as quoted and he even leveled off the door and all for the same price quoted. GREAT SERVICE-AND VALUE. By far, the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Upon reading online,I saw that Budget locksmith had received a 4.9 rating. The man that they had given to me had told me at 9:30 that he was to arrive within about an hour.At 12:45, he tells me he on his way. I'm a student that needed to have my key replaced and I needed to get around since it was my finals week. After waiting for over 3.5 hours, I will never call Budget Locksmith again! When I had called their number to inquire the whereabouts of my locksmith I was also treated rudely, never again. He had the best price quote in Tampa, and he is licensed and insured. He is a great conversationalist and gave me a crash course on his profession that was extremely interesting. Came out with same-day notice on a Saturday to change our door locks. Really friendly service and could make 8 copies of the key on the spot out of his van. Very convenient and, with such fair prices (especially on short notice), you can't ask for more. I would give more stars if I could. I locked myself out of my house while walking one of my dogs and my other one was stuck inside. He was recently diagnosed with cancer so he's really sick and I needed to get inside to give him his medicine. I contacted Budget Mobile Locksmith after checking out numerous sites, reviews and recommendations. I was not disappointed. I recently moved into a new home and wanted to change the locks. I called requesting new locks and it was suggested to me by Tim, that an alternative would be to change the locking device and it did not require new locks. This was a sure sign that Tim was an ethical business man- not trying to get me to purchase the most expensive item, but educating me on alternatives that I could use that were a less expensive and equally secure.
