When I had called to ask for a non-first floor room, they told me that they were doing renovations and I asked if I could get a upgraded hotel room that's already been renovated and I was able to get that. The breakfast was very good. lots of different choices you can make a waffle. You can have a bagel. They have avocados out there too The dark roast coffee was amazing. If I come up to this area again, I definitely will stay at this facility The only thing I would suggest is putting more towels in the bathrooms. And also the thermostat in our room was not working so we can tell what the temperature was.

It had been raining so the carpeting was damp. The room keys work sometimes! We went out for the day and when we came back the bed had not been made and they didn't leave any clean towels or washcloths. We had to call the front desk and she brought 2 bath towels. No clean washcloths so my husband walked over in the rain to get them. Received 2 hand towels and 1 washcloth. He was told that was all they had. Our reservation was for 2 more nights, but we cancelled.

She was super sweet, patient, and answered all my questions. The room itself was clean, spacious, and had a comfortable king size bed, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, and LG flatscreen TV. Parking, Breakfast and Wi-Fi are included with hotel stay. My room was quiet and comfortable and I had a good rest before continuing my road trip.

Every staff member we have come across has been friendly and kind. Our room was great and looked updated. The linens were in the room already for the pullout bed (9/10 when we have had a pullout we have had to go to the desk and pick them up at other hotels) We love the amenities. The shower has shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower. Our room has a fridge and coffee maker. The pool area was nice. There is even a grill outside. Breakfast was decent with a mix of hot items, and cereal, muffins, boiled eggs, fruit, grits and oatmeal packets and hot water, juice, and coffee. The Coke machines in the hotel only take cash or change. Not a complaint just an FYI if you need a caffeine fix other than coffee and rarely carry cash. We would totally stay here again. Our king size bed was comfy and came with 5 pillows.

Two levels, outdoor hallways with a pool out back. There's a Hardee's next door, but everywhere else requires driving. Hot breakfast included with the room rate. The Key West Inn is lower-tier for Scottsboro, and I'd stay here if the other places are filled, or if I'm really on a budget. Its popular with the fishermen and hunters including boat parking out back. (There is a prominent sign at the front desk stating that a penalty will be imposed for cleaning fish or game in the rooms. Another note in the room pleads with guests not to use the clean towels to clean or polish equipment.) At least, its better than the shady, run-down motels on Broad St. in town.
