I likely will consider other locations on my next visit to this area. And I have to admit that the staff weren't quite as friendly in years past. But I know that in some places that fluctuates a lot based upon who is on that day. Also, they shortened the breakfast times, presumably because of difficulty in getting staff. For the price that you pay here, I like to get in a work out in the morning and get my breakfast in a more leisurely manner than usual. Closing up breakfast at 0900 seems a little early, especially for folks who are on vacation. There were several people arriving after 0900 this morning who were surprised to learn that the service was closing down. Thankfully the nice lady manning the breakfast bar was very understanding and got a few things for them from the back while she was cleaning up.

Elevators are dirty with dirty scum around the edges of the floor. The staff is really nice and will try to assist in any way possible. The owner... not so much. I would not recommen. I typically stay Marriott and wish I would have kept that tradition as this Hilton branded hotel is not worth $60 a night so paying close to $200 is ridiculous for a potent sewage smell and a non functional TV.

The "housekeeping" crew were ok, but were extremely high and smoking marijuana near the rooms. We also had a no smoking room (as I have a hard time breathing around smokers) just to have the cleaning crew smoke WHILE they are cleaning the rooms, leaving the "clean" rooms lingering with weed and cigarette smell. I would highly stay away from this place. It was not worth the cost AT ALL.

Dirty sheets (had to go to Dollar General and buy towels and sheets), carpet falling off the wall and there was trash already in my trash can when I checked in. And to top it off even after I sprayed disinfectant and bought new sheets, I got the mess bit out of me by bed bugs. I have bite marks and welps all over my arms and legs. Stay far away unless you want some critters sleeping next to you. My sister was in the room two doors down from me and her daughter had bite marks too. Not sure how the bugs decide who to bite but they f'd us two up. I'm still itching. A little background about me. I'm kind of a hotel snob. I like modern, well-appointed rooms with beautiful lobbies and hotel amenities. None of the above here. In all fairness in Covington you don't have too many choices unless you can swing the cost at the Omni Homestead in Hot Springs for $300 a night plus parking and resort fees. I always bring my sleeping bag and sleep on top of the covers! Always! The shower; a trickle of water. I had to stay in extra long to ensure it washed all my shampoo out. The TV was small and only was Dish TV. Eww. Luckily I have Pluto and Netflix apps on my phone. :) The TV needed to have new menu settings, I couldn't see what channels the shows were on. :/ I wore my slides in the room. I took no chances with dirty feet as showing on other Yelp pictures. I went to breakfast, only this morning on my way out. I was glad they offered a small yogurt and banana. The coffee was excellent, however the scrambled eggs looked like they were refrigerated overnight and heated up today. Also not sure why they would have frozen veggies in the tin right next to the eggs. They were dry and shriveled up. No bad visitors there bothering me. No loud noises keeping me awake.
