I recently used George for some drywall work in our condo that we rent out. We recently had a leak in our HVAC system and had to have it replaced as well as some drywall removed and mold remediated. Once the new system was in, George came by to repair all the walls and cutouts. His communication was great, he provided a timely response to our initial request for an estimate and always kept us informed if he was running late so that we could coordinate with our tenants and other vendors. George has been my preferred vendor for property maintenance and improvements for the past year. He troubleshooted peeling of large sections of living room ceiling texture (sealed chimney/roof flashing and inspected ducting for moisture sources), installed recessed ceiling canned lighting and switches (while he was at it - I'm so glad he recommended it saving me $ vs doing it after the fact). The living room looks light and bright. He fixed the gaps in the wood flooring (over time hardwood floor moves). He handled the tenant move out/move in process for me including repairs, cleaning, etc. He painted the eaves properly (scraped, prepped, painted) eaves - looks brand new! He is very responsive when tenants have any issues. He will be installing new flooring next week. He is professional, pleasant, responsive, and reliable. He does great work and has very FAIR prices. We called him on a Saturday morning and he responded right away. We told him that we had a washer being delivered on Wednesday and needed the faucets changed before then. He said he could make it Tuesday and would let me know if he could come earlier. He was able to come on Monday and got it done quickly. He did a great job and explained exactly what he was doing. Very disappointed. One of our window shades fell down in my business and I reached out to a few businesses on Yelp. As a small business owner I like to support other local businesses. I was very impressed with how soon Budget Handyman could swing by to fix the problem. He showed up over 1 hour late to the appointment, a little annoyed about it but he fixed the problem and was willing to work with me on pricing so I was a happy customer. After 1 week the shade fell down again. I reached back out to George, he agreed to come back and fix it, he was a no show 2 days in a row.
