I was referred to them by a friend who is also in the industry, and he said they were much better than any big box store. Scott took time to understand that this job was for my cousin who has some challenges and kept working with him to make him part of the project. Costs were exceptionally reasonable and quality of product and installation was great. Thanks Scott and crew.

He denied that I even talked to him. So my husband and I talked with another salesman and he was very nice. We took another sample home. I called a few days later and told him we were interested and what kind of price they could offer us. He said he'd call back--never did. A few days later, we went back to the store to return sample and to talk with someone. No one came out of the other room to help us. We just left the sample back where it belonged and left. Needless to say, we're never going back.

American Flooring was recommended to us by a friend who is a builder as having honest, and knowledgeable staff. We worked with Doug and Jeremy. Both were more than willing to answer questions but never tried any high pressure sales tactics. They always gave us time to search the store but were always available if needed. They even measure your home for free if you want even if you are self installing. Best of all the floor we bought was exactly what we wanted and looks fantastic.

I held back per Paul's request just enough to have him come back and finish the job, yet not enough to have someone else fix the installation issues. There is no warranty nor integrity here. I would avoid using him at all costs, and unfortunately he is Rycus Floorings only and #1 guy. I waited quite a while for Heritage to install my shower, which is usually a good sign-but after the damaged tiles needed to be ordered he bailed after weeks of waiting for the new tile to come in. He agreed to pay for the new box of tile, however I am trying to find a tile guy willing to finish and fix someone else's work. Sad part is they were only a day and a half's worth of work from completion and a good review, now it's my headache.

However, the nightmare began while trying to locate an installer. At least five people/calls later I found Floor Coverings International (FCI) here on Yelp and--in despair--contacted them. Several days later, Rob LaCross actually kept our appointment and brought his samples to our house. And KEPT IN CONTACT with me, knowing I was suspicious and traumatized by previous carpet fellas disappearing into the night after promising the moon. (So to say.) Rob and his staff are friendly, outgoing, straightforward, trustworthy. Our flooring is perfect and the carpeting is lovely. We had a few installation time glitches (holidays, Covid) but Rob kept me relatively calm and informed. I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY and THESE PEOPLE without reservation. Call them! You can't go wrong. You'll love their products and their work, too. And them! My thanks to Rob for putting up with me. We are happy happy customers.
