I had a horrible experience with Budget Dumpster. I would not recommend them to anyone. My Handyman called and schedule it to be picked up. It was never picked up and then I get billed when I find out they never picked it up. I don't live near the property where it was used. The handyman completed his worked and left. It should have been picked up on the scheduled date. When I called they said "well no one called us so we can't do anything about it" I found customer service to be very rude and unhelpful. I was promised a Dumpster to be delivered on Monday February 3rd. Almost a 3:00PM I received a call that they have to do some repairs and the dumpster will not be delivered until Thursday the 6th after I have paid for people to work on Monday and now I have to eat the cost of the workers. We've rented from them before and had some issues with pick up, but not bad to avoid. This time, I had a great experience with the driver for drop off. He texted to confirm location and double checked to see if we needed door access. Pick up, however, is another story. I scheduled pick up when I called. I stressed the need for a specific pick up, and asked earlier than needed to ensure it was picked up before photographers came to our house to photograph to sell. I then called today in the morning to confirm pick up. They still didn't come. I'm now left with a dumpster in my yard for my photos to sell my house. Even better, it's a long weekend. The soonest they will show is Tuesday... just in time for realtors to come by. Never making the mistake of this again. The lack of contact back is beyond frustrating, it's supposed to rain so I'm sure they'll hit me with an extra charge for water weight, and I'm going to have to pay the photographer to come back. Budget Dumpster was prompt with delivery and pickup, and the dumpster was put in the perfect place for easy use with the wide swinging door for the 20-yard dumpster. I did notice two marks on the driveway, but those are just dark lines and not any damage to the concrete. If not for those marks, I would have rated them 5 stars. read more

Rented a a dumpster from them for $370 for a week. They texted afternoon of day 6 letting me know the dumpster would be picked up and any point the next day. When renting a dumpster, I quickly realized that they had switched my Billing Address with my Delivery Address. I called, and the reassured me that they fixed it. I called again the day before to double check, and it was not fixed. Again, they reassured me that the problem was fixed. The dumpster arrived that evening, which was great. But then, my parents arrive to their house (my billing address) to find... you guessed it, a dumpster in their driveway. Thankfully, they were not parked in the garage so no one was blocked in, but since this was on a Friday, no one came to pick up the dumpster until Tuesday. I voiced some of my concerns to budget dumpster, and they kindly allowed me to keep my dumpster for another couple weeks because of the inconvenience. When I finally schedule the pickup for a Tuesday, I call to confirm and I am reassured, "the drivers will not stop until all dumpsters are picked up." Wednesday morning comes around and the dumpster is still there. Also, be aware that the 6a-6p time frame they give you is not a guarantee. And one of the phone options is "check on the status of your dumpster", but then I was told "oh we don't really have a way to do that..." Everyone I talked to was very helpful and understanding, which I am thankful for. Having a dumpster is absolutely worth it for a home Reno, but unfortunately the inconvenience of using this company made it a very long and difficult process. read more

They place the dumpster right in middle of driveway where I cant fit a car. No problem, easy fix you would think. They say someone will move it back. Two hours later they text while im at work that it has been moved. I come home from work and it hasnt been moved at all. I call some "office" sounded like someone working from home cant remember her name but she hung up the phone and was Zero help. I complain online and i get a text that a ticket has been opened and a supervisor would look into this HAHA. Absolutely nothing happened. Finally, I agree to just use the dumpster and park on the street. Not to mention they delivered the worst dumpster ever with no holes in bottom so rain just pools inside. I submit online to pickup this dumpster 4 days past my last day. Funny they charged me my late fee pretty quickly but no one was there to help me when I needed it. Online response said we put you on schedule for a Tuesday or Wednesday pick up haha not sure how that works. So here I am Wednesday and the dumpster still has NOT been picked up. Im sure they wont be paying any money back to me for waiting. I will say steer all the way clear from this company. As with many other reviews, I too agreed upon a price and drop off date only to have no dumpster show up. They told me the would have it in the AM, but by noon nothing showed up. When I called the response was "sorry, we just found out it's not going to be delivered today". When I asked what time it would be the next day, they responded by "they make the schedule in the morning so we don't know yet" - If that's the case, why didn't I get a call first thing in the morning of the day it was to show up with that information?? 6/12/2018 - BUDGET DUMPSTER RENTAL...Stay away from this company (?), it's all about the money! AND, DO NOT PROVIDE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO THEM! Wow, did they have me fooled!! I even complemented the CSR who scheduled my initial order for drop-off. However, after only 7 days, the dumpster was ready for pickup. My calls and messages were ignored. I contacted the number listed on the dumpster several times to which that vendor (Spartan - who acted immediately) then contacted the distributor (also several times). AFTER, 26 additional days they (BDR) finally responded, however, not before charging 26 additional days to my credit card and an additional $230.00 more! I paid the $369.00 up front (AS they demand,) and they keep your credit card number on file. So, with access to my credit card, they charged another $230.00; that would be a total of $599.00 for a seven (7) day dumpster rental!! - BUDGET RENTAL? While these guys delivered the basic service (dropping off and picking up a dumpster) as advertised, I strongly suggest you find a way to weigh everything you put in the dumpster they give you and have a paper trail to prove the weight. Our troubles started a few weeks after the dumpster was picked up when they informed us that there was a small overage on our weight limit. My wife questioned whether that was accurate, and in the process of responding, the company said that it had made a mistake and that the actual overage on our 1-ton limit was 2.4 tons (4,800 lbs). Since the dumpster we returned contained only the cabinets from our small kitchen and maybe a couple hundred pounds of ceramic tile, we knew that there was no way we had exceed our 2,000 lbs limit by an additional 4,800 lbs. Unfortunately, when we tried calling the company to address the problem, we were completely stonewalled. Rather than listening to what we had to say, they instead treated us as if we were trying to cheat them and insisted on the fact that there was no way a clerical error had been made "because they use a state-certified dump." They were more interested in telling stories about how if you take a truck apart piece-by-piece then it doesn't seem like it weighs very much, as if this story has any relevance to our specific situation. It's just a ploy they use to make complaining customers go away without having to solve their problem. Fortunately for us, my wife is a good detective and was able to figure out that Budget Dumpster is just a reseller and that Waste Connections actually provided our dumpster. One call to them revealed the fact that they had sent the wrong weight ticket to Budget and that our dumpster was only over weight by a very small amount -- a figure I still question but cannot disprove. So buyer beware. These guys do not understand customer service and enter all discussions as if the customer is absolutely wrong no matter the circumstances. Oh, and when you reach your wits end and hag up on them because they are unwilling to listen to any sort of reason, they will call you "cray cray" in an email responding to their supplier who has admitted making an error that Budget said was impossible to make. First off, we were informed of a window of time when the dumpster would arrive but that they couldn't promise (although the sales rep stared most likely first thing in am), the dumpster was to come in the am, it didn't. We called. Rep said by 1, no dumpster, then by 3, no dumpster, then by 4:30, still no dumpster. Finally around 5 pm it arrives. Meanwhile workers on site demo'd bathroom with no place to put debris, causing double work and most cost. Rep said could get adjustment and would call back. No call back. I didn't bother to follow up cause I just wanted to be done with Budgetdumpster.com. Then they send me an email sayin they want to collect more $ cause the weight was over. I highly doubt it. NEVER use this company... ever. They are rude and unprofessional. I used this company once before and was not happy that the driver drove the bin into my wall.. I felt bad for the driver and I was redoing the wall anyway so i left it alone. I called them up again because i was demoing some concrete, they delivered to me in the past and i really just needed a dumpster asap and they said they could deliver one the next day.. I receive an email at 1:25pm the next day after thinking the bin was already at the property titled "Billing BD" i thought i prepaid for the dumpster so i was not sure what i was being billed for, so i open the email and its a bill for $150.00 for a trip fee. The notes stated that they attempted to deliver the dumpster but the area was not clear.. I called them right away and i said to them how was the area not clear? The customer service representative said "yeah we tried to deliver the dumpster and we couldn't because the area was not clear... yeah i got that part but why? What was not clear.. its an open street. I asked why they did not send me an email and the representative gave me a smart response and said "sorry you don't find our form of communication acceptable to you. I am a contractor and have used many other companies before for Dumpster rental. Not only did they drop it off later than promised but the company has poor communication. After everything was said and done they ran my card for another $329 and said it was for overage. Service was very good, dumpster was delivered on time, placed right where we wanted it. It was also picked up on time. My concern is how you ate charged. We did demo on the house mostly carpet, furniture, tree branches and some lawn debris. We filled the dumpster up to level with the top. When I called to have it picked up I asked to make sure they take time to drain the water. Because of the storms at the time it was half full of water. When we got final bill it said we had almost 5000 lbs. I dont see how that is possible usless they did not make sure it was drained. I had to pay an additional $70 read more

Update on my situation. After have to exhaustingly fight this, I finally got proof from the wonderful people at the transfer station to show that my waste didn't weigh what they were overcharging me for. They were charging me for the full amount of the truck, trailer, dumpster and waste. If you've experienced this in the past, be sure to get the weight slip and call the people on the weight slip to confirm. They refunded me all of the funds they overcharged me. In the future, I'll go with my normal trash company to avoid this issue again. read more

Just call Waste Management - Budget Dumpster is THE WORST! ordered a week in advance for a Monday delivery. No show. I called them three times and kept getting told it would be here by 6:00 PM. Tuesday at 08:00 called to tell them still not here. Called again at 9:30 and they said by Noon. Called at at 12:15 and talked to Kelsey who placed me on a 200 minute hold. I hung up and called back and talked to Tamera or something like that but could not understand as her VOIP connection was so bad but could understand her say it is in route. She connected me with Zack who said the drive had a family emergency. I canceled and called Waste Management - but I'm sure Budget will try to charge a cancellation fee. I will dispute with Visa until my last dying day. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this Company. They are brokers out of Cleveland and don't own any product outside of that area. All the Dumpster Specialists are call center people who couldn't care less. This rental should have been the easiest part of my project but it has been nothing but a fail and has completely put my timeline to finish on time at risk. read more

They seem cheaper up front but the weights allowed are LOW and UNREASONABLE and they UPCHARGE you in the end. My dumpster was half full and they still hammered me. Be smart and use someone else that allows "normal" weight limits. read more

Upon my request for a dumpster to be placed in my driveway, I was told it would be picked up the following Monday. Monday came, the dumpster was not picked up. I was told now that I need to schedule the pickup. I did at that point. Wednesday or Thursday. NOT!! Another call was placed, "No Guarantee" for pickup. I again was told, Friday, "for sure" . Friday driver called out. Another call was made, and I was told the dispatcher assured of a Saturday AM pickup. Again, NOT!! Customer service in merely a phrase at Budget.
