We look forward to working with him again, and happily recommend him.

When I called for an estimate, Jerry came out to take a look at my property the same day and he took a very good look at the house and the deck. He paid attention to every detail I discussed with him and I'm very glad I chose to hire him for this project. He used eco friendly cleaning solution to wash my property and none of my landscape plants suffered after the power was was completed. Totally unreliable and unprofessional. We were looking into a basement remodel. They responded…read moreright away that they were interested. It took multiple last-minute cancellations until they finally came out. Then when they came out, they said we needed to waterproof the basement before they would start. This pushed the project from September to January, when we finally could get the waterproofing company to come. Other contractors didn't say this, but we said, better safe then sorry. So we did that and spent $3500 waterproofing the basement. Then they were supposed to start the first week of January. Then came delay after delay after delay, and we would only get responses from them when we hounded them for responses. We had moved everything up from the basement, including my office, as we were expecting them. They would always have a new excuse: city of philadelphia is really slow with inspections (we didn't need permits for our job), there was a snowstorm that delayed them (the snowstorm happened weeks after the agreed upon start date), there were delays in supplies and production (our job was to put up drywall, which is fully stocked at home depot). I told them that if they don't think they can start in two weeks (6 weeks after the agreed upon start date) then they should let me know. Instead, two weeks later, they wrote back and said they can't give me a new start date and the project is, effectively, on hold indefinitely. This company is in over their heads, stay away.

They also scheduled the job for just a few days later. On the day of the job, they came right when they were scheduled and had enough help to get the job completed quickly. They were in and out of the house and garage in a timely manner and took all of the mess away! I really appreciated their help, excellent pricing, attention to detail, and professional manner. I saw this service off of Yelp, and decided to try them out for requesting an estimate. When I…read morefirst made an appointment, the person was going to be late and my schedule was jam packed. I ended up deciding to cancel that appointment and made another one. On my second request, I initially said "any time on a particular Friday." They gave me a range of 9-11 AM on a Sat and I asked if they could come in at 9 AM and they said yes. They ended up coming in right before 11 AM. So, I can understand that I needed to try to pick a time interval to be available rather than a time, okay. I gave them some stars for working with me and being professional for the in-person estimate itself. I was then told that I would receive an estimate over the phone in the same day some hours later. I requested by e-mail instead and was told that this was fine. During a time period of two weeks and two days after that, I had made three phone calls. I left voice mails twice and got through one time, the 2nd time I believe. I was told that the estimate was mixed up with something else and that it would be coming out. I'm not sure if they want to work with me or not, but at least it would be nice to let me know that instead of running me around. For potentially big jobs, my reasonable concern of not being able to receive an estimate by e-mail (or snail mail physical copy) makes me feel like there would be a he-said-she-said dynamic if I went for this. For smaller jobs, it isn't such a big loss and they seem like they do good work from the other reviews and my interaction with the attendant during the estimate. They may not be the most pronounced with their words, but I was willing to consider them with the other good reviews and them being local to me. With the lack of an estimate by e-mail, it made me wonder if the company or someone in the company has a PA license number. I would like to presume yes, but I couldn't find one personally based on company name. I know the search engine isn't the best if you don't have the actual license number to look up. If there are any updates/changes to this review or if it's proper for me to write another review as I can't update this one after about a month, then I will do so. I've strongly considered and tried to rate my experience as fairly as possible, and I really feel that Sunny's services could've done much better with their interactions in working with me after the estimate was completed.
