His quote was extremely fair, his response time was fast, he's a local guy (lives two streets away from me!), a veteran, and has been doing this sort of work for a long time. I liked him so much, in fact, that I decided to also have him install a street curb at the same time. If you live in the borough you know that homeowners are responsible for installing their own curbs, and you can't sell your house without doing so. Between that and the fact that people were increasingly riding up on my berm, making a muddy mess of it and getting too close to my grounded sewer pipes, I figured it was the right time to do the job. I even got my next door neighbor to install a curb at the same time as me! I committed to the work on 10/23 and Pat came out with his employee Albert on 11/3 to install the small concrete walkway for me. They did it all on one day (7:30 - 3:45) and Pat also helped me stick my dog's paw in the cement before he left for the day. The next business day Pat and Albert came out to start the curb project for me and my neighbor. I could not frickin' believe that just the two of them did all of the work required for the curb project. At first I thought it was a little expensive to do the curb, but after seeing the amount of labor required, I feel like it was a steal. Pat and Albert truly put a huge amount of sweat into the project, and within 48 hours I went from having no curb to having a nice, fresh one! A second neighbor of mine was so impressed with the work that mid-way through my project, they asked Pat to do their curb, too! I really can't say enough good things about Pat. He's just... a no-nonsense, hard-working, bad ass dude! If I need any other concrete jobs done I know for certain who to call.

Larry Primo and his guys exceeded my expectations with the project they just completed for me. See…read morebefore and after photos - I needed a 7' x 10' area dug up, leveled, and covered with concrete. Larry came the same day I called him and gave me a quote on-the-spot. It was (by far) the most inexpensive quote we received for this project. I honestly feel like I got away with murder for how little I paid and how much Larry and his men busted their asses for us. I hired Larry on May 17th and he finished everything on May 29th. My one and only complaint is that Larry isn't the most consistent communicator. I would have loved a few more texts from him telling me when I could expect him to arrive, what work they planned to do during the day, if he wasn't going to come like he had last told me, etc. BUT, in the end, he slayed this task and I have nothing to bitch about. I'd rather have someone who isn't the best communicator do a job for me accurately and efficiently than have some dude texting me constantly about how he can't finish, can't come, etc. etc. I'd certainly hire Larry again for concrete work.

Avoid at all costs: I hired A&R Concrete-Masonry LLC to come…read morefix my chimney crown after seeing many social media posts. I spoke to Craig who was very polite and scheduled the job quickly. However I would not hire them again for any work due to how messy they were. During the repair a lot of mortar and debris were left on my roof which is brand new and covered in mortar. A tarp should have been put down first or the debris removed immediately.
