You can't just drive up to the Budget Blinds address and expect to look at blinds. Their address is…read morethe business address, not a showroom. Budget Blinds sends a rep to your house to show you samples and measure your windows, therefore, they don't need a storefront. It makes sense anyway because you need to see the colors of sample blinds/shades against your walls and trim. You think your trim is white? Maybe not. Hold up a sample of white shades and you can see you might be way off! The fiance and I used Budget Blinds a year ago to cover all our bare windows in our new house. Wayne, the owner came over and went over all sorts of options. We used roman blinds on our patio doors, honeycomb shades in our sunroom, shutters in a few rooms, then wood blinds throughout the rest of the house. That may seem like a lot of different styles, but they really fit each individual room and we've been super happy with our choices a year later. We had another lady come by first when we were looking at blinds and she suggested we get all the same blinds throughout the house so it would look uniform from the outside. Wayne was great because he pointed out that you're in your house 95% of the time you're looking at your blinds...so get what you want and don't worry about what they look like from the street! One of the things with the houses out here in Loudoun County, is that so many have these 2nd story windows in the front foyer of the house. And you can't reach that window. Ever. That means any peeper, neighbor, or random solicitor walking up to your house can get a full view if you want to streak across your upstairs hallway in the nude. The fiance and I disagreed a year ago if a covering was needed for that window. I, of course, wanted a blind on that window. He argued there aren't any peepers in the neighborhood. Well, after continuing to be creeped out for a year leaving the window bare, I called Budget Blinds again. Wayne came by and suggested I get a motorized blind for the peeper window. That way we could raise and lower the blind with a remote control. The blinds should arrive in a few weeks, and I'll feel so much more comfortable that strangers on the street won't get a full view into the 2nd story hallway of our house. Give Budget Blinds a try if you need window treatments. They aren't the cheapest, they aren't the most expensive, but a good middle ground with plenty of expertise where you see a full spectrum of choices. You get what you pay for, so if you want the cheapest, be prepared for what you get. --see my review on Blind and Shutter Solutions for a good example of what the cheapest brings you. I recommend Budget Blinds for anyone looking for quality blinds and great service!

My Christmas present from my Mom this past Christmas was dressing up the windows in my kitchen. So…read morewe had Warrenton Decor come out and look over the windows, take measurements, select a fabric and style - and get a quote. I decided to go for valances over the two windows - instead of curtains. I also had her price out a new curtain rod for the window in the dining room - that curtain rod had snapped and fallen of the wall due to the mounting hardware being inadequate to hold the weight of the curtain (the place that sold me the curtains and installed them has since gone out of business). Dawn brought in a ton of fabric sample books. I was having a hard time selecting something - nothing really resonated with me. I asked if there were any other fabric options? She brought one more book in from her car and Bingo! This one pattern immediately sang to me! So my Mom made the arrangements, a few weeks later the valances were completed and ready to install - they came out and installed them and they look really nice. The quality of the work is quite good. Additionally, the installed the new curtain rod and mounting hardware - this time that curtain is going nowhere! The rod and mounting hardware closely match the color scheme I have going in my dining room/living room - so Dawn did good! Dawn, the owner of Warrenton Decor really knows her stuff! Check them out!
