Once again I waited until the last minute to purchase a gift for a baby shower I was attending…read more Nothing to go on except that it was going to be a baby girl. It took me a little bit of searching for the store front. GPS will lead you to believe its right on the corner McConnel and Bryon Ct. However, if you are on Bryon Ct. it's actually closer to the main road crossing than it is to McConnel. Look for the grayish blue business buildings on your left hand side. It's facing the street on the bottom floor. If you've reached the bakery on the corner you went a little too far. This cute boutique shop is small in size but carries a lot of items that you're not going to typically find in a corporate box store. The items are on the more pricey side, but what your getting in exchange is high quality, green friendly, non traditional baby items as well as personal hygiene care for mom before and after pregnancy. I decided to go with a really great sash for carrying the baby (on consignment. So it was a awesome discount.) A very soft muslin material milestone blanket, a pacifier holder (really great brand! Doesn't shrink back pacifier on string too harshly), and some mama care items. I could have bought so many wonderful things. Soft diaper liners and covers, a great variety of baby carriers and sashes, baby clothes, food utensils, and bottles. Sweet toys and teethers jewelry for baby. A lot of hygiene care items even if your not pregnant or nursing. I really valued the items they carry. I left their store feeling really good about the one of a kind items I bought for my dear friend. Afterward I grabbed a bite to eat at the bakery just down the street. They have 3 hour parking next to the waterfront, so the whole experience was so delightful. Plus, the help I got shopping couldn't be beat. Any questions I had were thoroughly answered, and I never felt pressure to buy anything. Afterward, the cashier packaged it up for me with a gift bag in such a pretty presentation. The stress of finding just the right gift melted away. There isn't a lot of stores here at the waterfront to browse, but I found the whole atmosphere was a very pleasant one. And they do have events going on here all the time. On this particular day the Kitsap Art school was having an end of the year event with music, balloons, food, and face painting. Plus a birthday going on in the park. It made my afternoon to come to a place where there were many families just enjoying the weekend near the Silverdale waterfront.

They also have funny cards, coffee mugs and things you wouldn't expect to find in a "baby" store. They also have homeschooling materials, sensory toys and both Montessori- and Waldorf-style works. They are definitely worth the visit.

Just to note on some of the other reviews, you never know (as a customer or employee) when clothing stores will see a rush of shoppers so I feel like you need to shop with patience wherever you are and not just at this store. Waiting in lines are kind of a given, at least that's how I feel. If you have not tried it yet, Old Navy's online pick-up is really convenient if you know what you're after and want to be in and out. The compassion, patience and friendliness of the employees can be improved. I once asked for help locating a size in pants and I was spoken to as though I was being an inconvenience. You see, these two employees were discussing personal matters and one even had her phone out showing the other something on social media when I approached for help. Neither of them moved and I was basically told that if I'm not finding it then they don't have it because nothing was back stocked. I can live with not being able to purchase cute pants but being spoken to as if I interrupted their social gathering was unprofessional. Next, I called the store for my curbside order and received MAJOR attitude just within the greeting when the employee answered. As I was saying I was picking up my orders I was cut off and asked for my name. While giving my name I was cut off again and asked to enunciate my name. When I was told the order would be right out, I was hung up on while I was saying "thank you so much". Train the employees on customer service not just operations and this place would be better.

Sad to say, but I'm not a fan of this location. At. All…read more And i LOVE Old Navy. First off, the damn handicap automatic door opens so slowly. I was by myself with a stroller and had to wait probably a minute or two for the door to fully open and actually walk through it. I even tried to help the door open quicker and tried swinging it open, but nope. It proceeded to open at snails pace and i got stuck, well the stroller got stuck lol. Secondly, the place is so small and crammed i couldn't even walk around with the stroller. I was getting so frustrated that i think i looked at like three things and said forget it. SO PRO TIP DO NOT TAKE A STROLLER OR AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS Thirdly, the selection for children's clothes is slim to nothing. I have a two month old son and i just adore looking for baby clothes. And of course there was just one rack for infants. Such a waste of my time. I think it took me longer to get through the automatic door than i actually stayed in the store to look around. Sad.

People were saying "Rhino" were monsters who would destroy Silverdale. What's happening now is the operating hours will be reduced and they can just suddenly close the mall and kick you out so the elites (these seem to be 20-29 in age range, not from here, and very fancy if the cars are any indication) can have special parties. These are creepy. I saw a "comedy show" in an abandoned restaurant where no one was laughing. Security accosted me and asked why I was trying to shop in a mall. They said the posted hours were wrong. They were pretty demeaning. What's sleazy is no one was told the mall was closing. Rhino repeatedly lied to residents. They only listened to these foreigners who spilled in to raid the area while living in those creepy ticky tacky apartments that all look just the same. These people will all say the same thing. They will say "Once, this mall was shoulder-to-shoulder people" like they are reading from a script an AI created. Their eyes glaze when they say this. They act strange. They look robotic. They wear these fancy "distressed" clothes that aren't from here. They don't look like they're from here. Everything is overpriced now. Taxes are through the roof. It's like a third-world county. Now, there's not even a mall and some residents are trapped. The mall was the landmark in Silverdale, so there is no Silverdale. It's just those viral, scary apartments. It's awful. We were told the mall would come back. I guess they lied. How you can improve: Stop the creepy entertainment and have a shopping mall. If you can't do that, tear it down and put in more gross, identical tenement apartments.

However my very opinionated 2 year old saw the Hulk (she adores Hulk) shoes in the bigger kid sizes. I asked an employee about toddler sizes and she said no sorry. So we tried on some pink ones in her size. The employee (I didn't catch her name) came back and said she looked online to see if we were able to order the Hulk shoes from your website sadly we are not. Now most employees would leave it at that but she didn't. She asked my daughter who her favorite super hero was and she of course said Hulk and asked for the shoes. The employee apologized to my daughter about not having her size and asked what her second favorite. My daughter replied Spiderman. The employee had ready looked up other super hero shoes in toddler sizes while looking for the Hulk ones. The excitement in her face was priceless when she told my daughter that they had ONE pair of Spiderman shoes in her size! My daughter thanked her and had the biggest smile. It took a good 15 minuets and 2 employees to find the shoes (they were left in the wrong section when they recently moved product around in the back) my daughter was ecstatic about her new Spiderman shoes! Not only were all the employees so nice but the one that helped us (associate ID is 364553) went above and beyond to make my daughter's birthday a little more special. None of the ladies working that day were judgmental of the fact my daughter wanted "boy" shoes. I can't say the same for any of my fellow patrons. I did get some funny looks when my 2 year old in a hot pink and orange dinosaur themed dress asked ever so politely for "Hulk smash" shoes. I will also be calling the Silverdale, Wa store today to tell my story to the managers there. I'm sure big companies like yourself get more complaints than compliments and I just wanted to let you know you and your employees are doing a great job! I've been shopping your store since I was a young teen. Now 27 and still shops there. You and your silverdale employees don't know how much a simple pair of Spiderman shoes will help my daughter. We have to go to Seattle Children's Hospital every few months for my daughter and having one of her favorite heroes on her feet and in her hands (she has a Spiderman action figure) will help her tremendously! So thank you very much!! Tristan
