I really wanted to build a relationship with this company, but they had my camper from the end of August through November, Thanksgiving. The only things I had done was an inspection, winterize, and do some wall taping. The wall taping they did was absolutely horrible. I should have just done it myself. They were very disorganized and they would not honor the "Lifetime" warranty. What a load of crap. As much as I despise Camping World, your better off going there if you need service. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My experience with Buckeye RV has been frustrating from the start and only got worse over time. Right after purchase, the electric water heater didn't work on first use, the cheap tires blew out quickly, and the so-called "lifetime warranty" turned out to be a nightmare. Most recently, after my RV was deemed a total loss nearly two months ago, I've been dealing with endless runaround over warranty refunds. Despite promises, there was no communication for weeks until I followed up myself--only then did anything move forward. Even then, the refund check was sent out late, meaning payments were still due in the meantime. The lack of responsiveness, professionalism, and accountability has been exhausting. I would not recommend Buckeye RV to anyone. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere. read more

They do have a decent selection at decent prices. Staff was friendly, but I do want to share some concerns with this process. We have been asked to resign and sign missing forms several times, we've been to the license branch and we've been turned away for these missing docs. So now our plates are expired and I'm guessing we'll need to pay a late fee. We didn't have keys for the door on the trailer we purchased , which they did make right By sending us a new lock. We live several hours away and sales person said we could do a walk around of the camper via video or recording. We also asked if the tv could be put back on the mount. Neither of those were done. Great experience before purchase but after was a bit of a nightmare. read more

They didn't tell us they hit it we just happened to stop by and see it. we have been promised it will be done by march, May, June and July and now they are saying it won't be done then. The service department is a joke. they had my camper for 3 months for service not for storage. the fixed nothing, left exposed wires, left my fireplace out. was told on another review they contacted me multiple times to keep me updated, that was a lie. told me the heartland claim website was down for 2 weeks, another lie I confirmed with Heartland it was down 3 days. i was told they also don't carry my brand of camper, I was told by Heartland they were a authorized services. We picked up the camper because no work had been done after 3 months and we were told it would be completed and never was. also was told by the service manager that if "someone" comes on there property and uses your camper they are not liable. they told my I should still hold insurance on the camper, well duh I did have insurance but didn't know I should have someone watching my camper also. the service department is awful! looks like it's a trending problem for a while. Good job Buckeye RV. They also have threatened me about filing a defamation suit. read more

Please do not do business with this company! Look on the BBB at all the bad reviews and complaints. They make the sale, and tell you that you have a forever warranty. That is not worth the paper written on. Not only did they not fix anything after having it for 3 1/2 months it was vandalized in their parking lot and we have to pay for it because they are not responsible for anything that happens in their parking lot. Someone stole our catalytic converter. No camera in there parking lot so no one saw a thing. They made a police report but didn't bother to let us know it was stolen we found out when we started it. Just wanted to let everyone know about the poor customer service at Buckeye Rv in Jeffersonville, Ohio. We dropped off our Keystone fifthwheeler on December 28 th, that is less than a year old, with the second time of having mold issues. Haven't heard anything from them so I called for the second time and was told that there are 200, yes 200!!, RVs before us!! They prioritize their own customers, which I get but why would you have me drop off this camper with mold issues to sit outside and basically not have an appointment?!! Jim, the general manger is rude and didn't care about my concerns. Before we got off the phone I did let him know that he is a Jackass. We have been looking at RV's for a long time and purchased one in 2018 which we used all summer for a few trips but our teenager grew a bunch and we found ourselves outgrowing our RV rather quickly. We decided to go to BUCKEYE since he had a full line of PUMA's and met Smitty who was busy but he had his wife Carrie take us around we found the floor plan but not exactly what we wanted - filled out a card and they called us back a week later. He wanted a small deposit to order exactly what we wanted in a newer 2020 model and the price was awesome !! I would have provided no stars if that was an option. The customer service at Buckeye RV in Jeffersonville is absolutely horrendous. We receive zero communication and they have had our unit in the service department since May. I was even told at one time they didn't know if our unit was even there!! That's where we left it so it couldn't have gone far!! They are nothing but empty promises and terrible service. We will not be recommending them to our family and friends. Its hard to be positive when the camper you have owned for only 1 year has been in their service department more than we have actually been able to camp in it. PLEASE READ THE WHOLE REVIEW AS THERE ARE KEY PLAYERS WHO EARNED 5 STARS. We too were victims of purchasing what we thought was a brand-new camper from another dealer that Buckeye RV had bought out in June of 2019. When we took the camper home, the floor was squishy, the whole underneath was completely rusted, there was a screw coming through the floor, the trim and the table was loose, the speakers sounded blown, the shower and all the pop outs leaked, and the roof seal was dry rotted. 2 days later we attempted to return the camper. The manager at that time, who no longer works there now, came to our house to look over the camper as we were afraid to even attempt to pull it back to Buckeye RV. He stated that "the camper should have never left his lot in the condition that it was in". He promised us that he would take care of everything and our camper would be completely fixed. It sat at Buckeye RV until January of 2020. On January 13th, I called to check on the camper repairs and get a date for completion, only to find out that that manager who made us all the promises, was no longer there and that there was no work order for our camper. The service manager, Amanda Ruble was very quick to address the situation and start the warranty process to have our camper repaired. She was always quick to respond to my phone calls and emails and kept us informed of where they were in the process. She deserves HUGE KUDOS, as she was a new employee with a full plate of numerous campers, numerous promises made and no work orders. On January 25th my husband and I decided to pay a visit to Buckeye RV. We spoke with Mr. Finch who was at the front desk. He explained to us that the Service department was closed on Saturdays. Another gentleman walked up and explained that he knew our situation and that our camper would be fixed, fixed right and that we would have it back in time for our planned vacation. We expressed our irritation with the situation we had been dealing with for the past 7 months. He expressed his compassion for the affliction we had been dealt. We also expressed our desire to trade in the old camper, as we no longer wished to deal with the headache. The gentleman offered for us to go look at what they had displayed, as they were having a camper show and to let him know if we found anything we liked and that he would sit down and see what he could do to get us in a new camper. Unbeknownst to us, that gentleman was Jeff Walker, Sr. the CEO of Buckeye RV. My husband and I spent the day looking through campers and Mr. Curtis Fowler, a Product Specialist with Buckeye RV spent his whole day showing us different campers and answering all the questions we had. He was wonderful and deserves 5 STARS. He was so patient and kind and never made us feel pressured or rushed. Pretty sure he stayed way past his shift to give us all the time we desired. We presented 2 different lay outs that we liked to Mr. Walker, Sr. He gave us a little background on both and helped us narrow down our decision to 2 different campers by the same manufacturer. Long story short, we were able to trade in the old camper and purchase a new. We did experience some miscommunication or lack of when it came time to do the financing paperwork. None of which was Mr. Curtis Fowler's fault. I spoke with Mr. Fitch who did our initial paperwork, which was not his usual job, Mr. Jim Leep, Manager, and the CEO Mr. Jeff Walker, Sr. Mr. Walker reiterated that he knew that we had been dealt an unfortunate situation with the old camper, and past manager and he wanted to do everything that he could to make the new camper experience one that left our opinion of Buckeye RV more positive. He wanted us to be happy and he also wanted us to have a camper that our family was happy with and could enjoy. We returned the next day to redo the financing paperwork and the walk through of our new camper. Mr. Curtis Fowler again greeted us with his kind spirit and escorted us to the service department for our walk through. We were greeted as soon as we arrived by Mr. Jeremy. He walked us through the whole camper, showed us every nook and cranny, gave us a plethora of knowledge and answered all 100 plus questions that we had. He also deserves 5 STARS. He was so friendly and patient and really knew his job. Pretty sure he also stayed past his tour and never made us feel rushed. We then returned to the main building to sign the financing paperwork. We were greeted by Mr. Jim Leep, who escorted us back to Nick Mullins, the new finance guy. It was Nick's first day on the job. Nick went through all the paperwork, took time to explain line by line, cleared up our confusion and answered all the concerns and questions we had. He also pulled in Mr. Jim Leep to confirm all that was agreed upon. This also gave Mr. Leep, my husband and I time to discuss and clear up the bad feelings that we all felt. We are also victims of MJ and Buckeye RV. I lost count of how many times we were told life time warranty. They did not give us even the pay off for our unit. Since purchasing a 2019 V-lite by Flagstaff out of pocket to us has now reached 500.00. I have faxed copies of repairs to Buckeye three times no response. Our first problem was with the AC within two weeks it quit working in 91 degree heat. When the repair man came and took the cover off he said right here is your problem not one wire nut all electrical tape my husband is a lineman and said sure glad it just burnt the wire not Us. We spent less then 40 nights in he camper and put it into storage we pulled it out in April and yes we did winterize. Within minutes water was dripping from the bottom of the toilet and running from the bottom of the bathroom sink. Another call to Buckeye your under Warranty I am told have it fixed I called the repair man he came told me that the connections were made at floor level with spicket clamps ( I am unsure how to spell that but the clamps had little teeth on them and with movement had put small but leaking holes in the cheap plastic hose coming into the toilet and the sink) He replaced both with a metal type hose and assured us this is how it should of been done in the first place. We are now half way thru June I have never received the money for fixing the AC I have not even received a call back on the fixing of the water leaks. Our furnace will not bring the unit up to a warm temp if it is cold outside you can bet your gonna be cold inside it does have a lovely looking fireplace no heat radiating from that thing either. Where the slide comes in and only twice have we opened and closed it we now have a tear in the flooring. The closet door was broken when it was delivered. I could go on and on with this piece of JUNK. Claims to have a WiFi booster We are less than a mile from Marietta College never been able to get that to work either. Do not patronize this place. When it came to signing papers the lady tells me now it will be another 3000.00 for warranty on the roof the exterior all the things that give you water leaks so what in the world is lifetime warranty, Do Not be fooled by this. I am one day from calling the Attorney General. MJ told us our unit was constructed by the Amish and It was better crafted, looking back he treated us like we were idiots, and due to us wanting a unit we could pull and travel more we swallowed and trusted his words. Do Not be fooled by this Guy. I am sure we bought him a new tat that week, would someone please tell me do the Amish make the V-Lite? I am sure not. read more

Beware of this dealership. Once you purchase your unit any customer service goes away. The service department is impossible to get ahold of. You have to leave a voice-mail and they don't return calls. We even tried to reach the general manager or service manager to try and resolve our issues and they won't return calls either. So far we have only had one issue with camper which they did fix but only after many many phone calls trying to get someone to tell me what the protocol was for these type of repairs. They finally ordered the part and i was able to swap parts and put it on my self. Love Forest River products but HATE this dealership and their staff. We purchased a travel trailer from Buckeye RV last August. Shortly after we purchased our trailer we noticed several warranty issues that we brought to their attention. At that time we were told that they would need to order a new part for us and that they didn't expect it to arrive until December. We weren't notified when the part came in, so late this spring we attempted to contact them about the status of the new part. When we finally were able to contact them they informed us that the new part had arrived but they wouldn't schedule a appointment to have the new part installed. It has now been almost eleven months since we took possession of our trailer and they have refused to schedule an appointment to install the new part and to fix the other warranty issues. read more

This is a place that will help if you have a problem. Jeremy is the service manager and will do the repair right. I bought a 2017 Micro lite there in 2016 and had some awning problems. It took longer than I thought to repair but Jeremy refused to use inferior parts to fix it and made me wait. In the end I am glad as all is much better than expected.
