My wife and I purchased a beautiful, customized golf cart for our special needs son -- it quickly became our thing. We'd ride all over town together, waving to friends and enjoying every minute. He's well-known around town, and the cart made him even more of a local celebrity.
But soon after, the problems began. The first shop I took it to (not Buckey) didn't fix the issue at all. They told me the sound system the previous owner installed was the problem, removed it, charged me, and the cart still didn't run right. I was frustrated and felt completely taken advantage of.
I tried another place -- they did fix it, but it took five months. We got one summer of fun out of it before another front-end issue showed up that ruined two front tires. Other shops either misdiagnosed the problem or flat-out refused to touch it because it was a hard-to-service brand. At that point, I was convinced I'd have to sell it for parts.
