What should have been a 10-12 week project turned into a grueling nine-month ordeal filled with no-shows, blown deadlines, and broken promises. The work performed was far from acceptable -- unsafe electrical wiring, a patio so uneven it's a tripping hazard, and major yard destruction left behind. Items in our contract were delayed until after we sent a formal demand letter, and some were never delivered at all. He treated our project like a side job, showing up sporadically while chasing other jobs he also couldn't finish. His own workers walked away because they weren't being paid. We were forced to pay out thousands more to other professionals to make the pool safe and functional. This contractor's lack of integrity, professionalism, and basic follow-through is beyond belief. If you're considering hiring Steven Brown, save yourself the financial loss and months of frustration -- do not let this man near your property.

I was told beforehand to bring my ID, which I did. When I arrived, I was then asked to have a picture taken of my driver's license. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the interaction quickly became confrontational. The person I spoke with on the phone was disrespectful and spoke to me in a way that I felt was completely unnecessary for a simple check pickup. I was even told, in a very rude manner, that I could "go get my freaking brother." I understand businesses have procedures they need to follow, but there is a professional way to communicate those procedures with people. I came in respectfully and expected the same treatment in return. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I'm leaving this review because customer service matters, and I hope management takes situations like this seriously and makes sure customers are treated with basic courtesy and respect.

I have a hot tub that has a leak. I contacted Goodall Pools and Spas for a service call. They sent…read moretwo technicians to check it out on 11/19/24. They pulled off the 4 panels surrounding my hot tub and felt around for leaks. They said they could not find the leak and reattached the panels and left. I went on You Tube and searched leaking hot tubs. You Tube pointed out specific areas within hot tubs inner workings that can be prone to leaks. You Tube showed how to remove the insulation to check for leaks at these key spots. The Goodall technicians didn't do any of this. They did not appear to be trained on leaking hot tub repairs. I received a bill for a service charge of $99 which I am willing to pay. However, Goodall Pools also included an additional charge of $160 for the technicians attempt to locate the leak. I have called on numerous occasions to speak with a manager about the extra charges but to no avail. Apparently Goodall Pools does not return customer calls to try and resolve customer complaints. That in itself speaks volumes on how reputable this company is so I highly recommend you find someone else to service your hot tub.
