Although he was off the day I called, he texted and asked if I still needed help. He came the next day within 15 minutes of the time he said he would be at my house, and after a bit a checking, diagnosed the problem. I would have never figured it out on my own. He came back when the part came in and installed it. Additionally, he showed me exactly what he was doing, discussed washers, appliances, and used the time to teach me a few things about clothes washers and their maintenance that I was unaware of. It is difficult to find someone these days to find someone like Lou that is good at what they do and provides a competent service at a reasonable price. Although I hope to never need an appliance repair again, I know, deep down I will. Lou will be my first and only call. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, through, responsive, and looks after his customers.

Like an auto mechanic, there isn't anything stopping them from taking advantage of an uneducated consumer. I am pleased to report that after dealing with Blalock's Appliance on several occasions, I am quite satisfied and will continue to do business with them in the future should the need arise. Rather than making a trip to my house to collect the fee for making a house call and potentially inventing some costly repair, the staff walked me through what turned out be a simple fix right over the phone at no cost. They'll also fix your TV for a pretty reasonable price. Hopefully your appliances will last forever! If not, be glad Blalock's is nearby.
