Going against my best judgment I ordered meals Togo. The food was just alright. My main issue is that forgot to put my order of eggplant parmigiana in the bag. On the surface - not a big deal. My daughter is a vegetarian. Secondly, when I called, there was no solution other than oops. When I spoke to the manager she did not apologize. Sorry Buca - I wish you luck. read more

Amazing service and great food! Kaylie, Steven, and Alec were absolutely awesome! They made sure our experience was unforgettable. The decor is so cute and fun to look at. Looking forward to coming back very very soon. Absolutely superb. read more

We haven't been eating out, due to the pandemic but the delivery here is fabulous! The fried mozzarella is a must. It had the perfect amount of crunch and was still moist. The marinara is heaven. Everything arrived perfectly warm, fresh, and delicious! read more

It was our first time here, and we were looking for a place for our family of 6 after a long drive in the rain. We had chicken parmigiana, ravioli pomodoro, Lasagna and as I am GF, the chicken limone. A few cocktails... the Roman tiki, bramble lemonade and elder flower punch (without bubbles) were all fantastic! Pinar did a fantastic job taking care of us, considering we arrived at 8pm with two under 10 year olds. It is hard to find good GF options, so the Limone chicken - was so close to a chicken francais - just exceeded my expectations, even if the 3 pieces if chicken on the small order were noticeably smaller than the chicken Parmigiana. read more

Excellent lunch and dinner place. Good food and service. Nice, quiet place for a business lunch.

We celebrated a family birthday at the Shenandoah location a few days ago and had a great time. There is plenty of well-lit parking and lots of seating at this family-friendly restaurant. Marissa was our server, and she couldn't have done a better job. She took our order quickly and continued to make sure everything was done to make our visit enjoyable. She didn't hover over us, but she was always there when needed with a friendly smile and quick service. The food at Buca di Beppo is served family-style. Our food arrived quickly; there was plenty of it and it was delicious. My compliments to the folks who prepared our order. The wait staff sang "Happy Birthday" to our guest of honor and brought him a dessert as we finished eating our meal. As we were leaving, the greeters took our picture to memorialize the occasion. You couldn't wish for a more pleasant experience. This was not our first visit, and it certainly won't be our last. read more

The menu sucks. Family style. So anyone that dines here better have the same taste buds lol. But seriously,

Decided to stop by and eat pasta. We're from California and the times I've had it it was delicious. Upon arrival I noticed they never vacuum the floors the bar area smelled so disgusting and was dirty as could be. We got sat and I instantly started getting bit by bugs under the table! Once we got our menus they were filthy and had gum on them!! Unacceptable we waited about 10 minutes and no one came back we decided to get up and leave !! Don't waste your time it's disgusting. Imagine the kitchen!! read more

Food was great! We got the tiramisu too and it was so yummy. Getting it to go was a good idea and everything was perfect. Thanks!

The aging Buca Di Beppo is still clinging onto dishes and décor of yesteryear. However this isn't always a bad thing, I mean people still do come to relive yesteryear. The food still is classic. The menu hasn't changed. The only thing that I feel is tired is the décor and atmosphere. But then again restaurants are mostly for food. Oh, and you'll also have to ignore the music. It is even more old and tired than the décor. That said the chicken marsala is hands down one of the best I've ever had. That dish alone keeps me coming back. Even for the lunch portion. That dish paired with the fettuccine alfredo makes for an outstanding lunch and as a bonus you get leftovers most of the time. The lasagna is also extremely delicious. Even the Chicken Límon, sounding do deceptively simple, is delicious. Round it off with an after-meal lemoncello and you'll be in a state of happiness. read more

I wanted to give a huge shout out to Allec. I had such a great experience. His service was on point and the conversation was even better. So first reading the reviews here made me question whether I wanted to come here. I was told by a friend that this place is amazing and authentic Italian food, which is hard to find in Texas. My son and I went to this restaurant to check it out for our selfs. We thought it was amazing, staff was very friendly. Food was great and small food portion that says feeds three I think it really feeds five. The Decor was amazing there was so much to look at. I would highly recommend trying the restaurant out. Great experience!!! read more

Service (Alec), food quality and overall experience was excellent. Alec placed our order, offered some excellent recommendations (chicken carbonara, Brussels sprouts app, meatballs, all of it was excellent). My family and I sat in the kitchen and were very pleased! Well done kitchen staff and well done Alec! read more

Just had the best experience at Bucca. We visit almost monthly with a group of 6-8. And today is the first day that I've been impressed enough to leave a review. Our waiter, Dani, gave us 5 star service. Very friendly, spoke loud and clear enough to hear in a busy room, drinks were refreshed quickly and anticipated our needs before we had to ask. Also had the best version of our favorite foods, everything was cooked perfectly. Shout out to the kitchen staff tonight! read more

Always a fun time at Buca! We go for every occasion and share with the whole family! Highly recommend for your special occasions

Lilly was a great server - so personable and sweet. The food is always good, especially the Colossal Brownie sundae!

Okay, so my first time here was on Thanksgiving yesterday. (Yes, I was regrettably that a$$hole dining out on Thanksgiving.) We are getting ready to move and thought to go out this year instead of unpacking the kitchen to cook. We made a reservation for 7pm. We did not get seated until after 9pm after waiting for over 2 hours. So why a 5 star review you might ask? Here is why. The one poor hostess literally had 100+ angry people demanding a seat and going off on this poor young lady who I must say I was very impressed with. I've worked in restaurants myself and would never have wanted to be in her shoes. It was a holiday and she and the many team members were stuck dealing with impatient ungrateful people literally yelling at them. Telling them how unhappy they are like they could go force people to get up from the tables and leave. Between the hostess and the manager I thought some poor soul was going to have a nervous breakdown. When we finally got seated, I was so impressed with our waiters sense of humor through all of this and great service. Also, I found our Thanksgiving feast quite delicious!! Here's the thing, Thanksgiving is a day to be thankful for those blessings in our life. Was waiting 2 hours super hungry from only eating breakfast that day annoying? Sure! But how lucky to have individuals give up there day to serve us a wonderful meal? They can't control people staying at there table for 3 plus hours and the reservations backing up! If your an a$$hole like we were dining out on Thanksgiving, please shut your mouth and have some compassion for these poor employees. Employees, I can't thank you enough for the wonderful meal, and I am truly sorry for how terribly you were treated last night. We have committed to not contributing to the holiday dining out craziness again. read more

The food is great. We order the meatballs and the pizza and they are the best. Eddy is super kind and a great waiter. The restaurant has the most bizarre decorations including the head of the catholic pope in one of the tables. read more

Yelp is a fantastic website because it allows us to post reviews focusing on what we think is important to a dining experience -- and some people do just get on to yell terrible things based on one visit and never use their yelp page again. Sometimes I look through others' reviews after visiting somewhere I was not happy with -- Did I just catch them on an off day? Surely I must not be the only one that feels this restaurant is 1 star status! When I do this -- I don't really take into account reviews left by one-time yelp users with no profile picture.. (these TEND to be the one-time-yelp-yellers) but Ali W. hit the nail on head when suggesting you hang 20 pictures of the Pope on your wall and staple some fake flowers to the ceiling to recreate Buca's cluttered look in your own home! The areas between tables are extremely narrow, too, making the servers running around with family size lasagnas a bit dangerous. Yes. Family size. The entire menu is set up to share entrees between 3 - 6 people. It is a neat idea that, I think, works well with Italian but the food I experienced here was terrible.. making it kinda suck to have so darn much of it. We were invited by someone that described the lasagna (large for $32.99) to be "as smooth as butter" and he was right. The plate dropped off was basically tomato mush with cheese on top. Thankfully we also ordered Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken (small for $25.99 is three chicken breast). It was a 2 star rating -- not much mozzarella and prosciutto inside in any of the three pieces, and the plate was drowning in the same blah marinara sauce as the lasagna. My favorite part of the meal was the undercooked side dish of green beans for $9.99. I sprinkled them with salt and pepper to improve the taste and just munched on them the whole time. Though the food- and decor -was not appealing to me, the servers were all very friendly and attentive. Their smiles and my full glass of water is what deserved the stars on my rating. Needless to say, we let our friend take home all the leftovers. read more

This is the second time in as many weeks that I have been here... I came in search of meat and found these half pound meatballs that were phenomenal! My server, EDDY, was absolutely fabulous! Extremely knowledgeable about all dishes; he described everything in great detail and was spot on! His recommendations were perfect! The atmosphere is family oriented as well as friendly. The service was so fast you felt as though you had just given him the order, and he turned around and had it in his hands! I have enjoyed these last two visits and will continue to come for meatballs and cocktails! Definitely request, Eddy!!!! read more

My family and I had made dinner reservations for 6pm there on November 2nd for my birthday. This is a tradition we do each year. We thought it was odd that we were the only ones there. That is until the bill came. We ordered two small portions of pasta. Garlic bread and two sodas. $88.00! The food is good, but not that good! The entire time we were there not one other person came in. I'm pretty sure I know why. read more

Don't come here often but when in the area this is a go to place for family. Eddie took care of us right off the bat. Appetizers were fresh and hot. Bread was soft and delicious. Read several reviews saying it was family friendly and that the food was good. We were excited to try their bogo entree deal, but sadly, we never made it past the entry way. Half dressed people in photos all over the walls as well as a few naked people in pictures posed in ways just enough to cover certain parts. When we walked into the waiting area, there was a photo right at our childrens eye level of a naked man crouched down. You could see his entire side profile. His bits were concealed by his knees. My husband peeked his head into the eating area and it wasn't any better. We politely told the waitress that we wouldn't be dining in after all and went elsewhere. This is NOT a place for children or even adults who are mindful of images being put into your mind. Not interested in looking at soft porn while I enjoy a meal with the family. read more

We went to this restaurant on a whim seeing that we haven't had Italian food in a long time, lets just face it, after living in Italy for 5 years, its hard to find a restaurant that serves great italian food... With that said... Buca di Beppo pretty much hit the nail on the head for us with its great authentic Italian cuisine !!! Seeing that they serve family style, we (Myself, Wife and Daughter) ordered the small Baked Ziti a small Quattro al Forno and Bruschetta as an appetizer . Needless to say, the small is actually a large. I believe that the small baked Ziti and Bruschetta would have been enough for all of us. The Baked Ziti was Phenomenal!!! The taste of the sauce actually took us back to Naples Italy.... and i am not joking!!! The Quattro al Forno was just as good... I especially enjoyed the Ravioli that was hidden under the steaming mozzarella cheese :) You will not go home hungry from this excellent Traditional Italian restaurant.. Call ahead as you will be waiting for about 30 minutes if you don't. But its well worth the wait. read more

$81 for 2 ITEMS!! I ordered a pasta with shrimp and chicken and camimari just those two items!! (3 waters and a dr pep) The place is expensive and MEDIOCRE!!!! Honestly Olive Garden is 100% better and has more flavor for less money too! The food was BELOW mediocre and lacked flavor! The restaurant didnt feel the cleanest, and the seats were sticky. The maximalist (lots of )decorations and small area made me and my family feel claustrophobic and uncomfortable. Also they have photos EVERYWHERE and some are very inappropriate showing almost all exposed people and in the bathroom pictures of laddies in their undergarments. Please head my warning and spend your money somewhere else. This is my first time going and I'm most definitely never coming back. read more

.. we visited The Woodlands location for my birthday on October 22nd we had a coupon for a free birthday sundae and so I decided that's where we were going to go! I made a dinner reservation for 12 and we had a few members not show and we were seated in the pope room and our servers name was Judy. She came up to the table and asked if we were waiting on a few more and was told that we were ready and that they weren't gonna make it. She snickered and rolled her eyes and said okay... well are you ready to order? We said yes and then she immediately started out with y'all are one table so you will only be able to use one coupon do not ask to use more as I'm not gonna to honor them... first rude comment rules are rules fine but her tone and body language very standoffish. So we said okay can we split checks she said no. Only one per table then rolled her eyes... okay rules are rules we get it we all work in the service industry.. then we were ordering and she asked my cousin what would you like he said a kids chicken parmigiana like him (him and brother ordered same thing) whose 12 she said no I can't you'll have to order the adult size. (Fine rules are rules) so she says so what will you be eating with an eye roll... he said fine I won't be eating at your establishment tonight... so she says ok really.... And moves on so I ordered a little bit more of the chicken parmigiana so he could eat with us. She comes back a little bit later after we had gotten our food and says "wow.. so I see you've got enough food for your feast after all huh? Must not be that bad." Food was great then we had separate checks cause we had quite a party of people and we split payments.. told her the amount had her write down which cards which amounts... etc. She brings back the resceipts and tells us she ran our card and she had to void them cause she ran the wrong amount... we look she had split everyone's checks in half and ran them and the reversed it and ran it again so now twice as much money is taken out of our banks... we came to eat dinner not to have to wait on $300 to be reversed to us... absolute horrid service great food but I think we will save our money and go elsewhere for that kind of quality... read more

I love the family style options here- we used to go all the time when we lived in the woodlands, and happened to stop by for a quick family meal when meeting some fam from out of town. The service was excellent, calamari a must, and the rest of the food quite delicious. Give it a shot! read more

I had a great experience at this restaurant for mothers day this last Sunday, considering the fact that we're still on alert for the covid-19 virus. And of course, the food didn't disappoint either! read more

I wish I could give 0 stars, they will however get 1 star because the tool some food off our bill. The place isn't managers well at all!! I had to wait 15 minutes for the hostess to come and seat us. When she did arrive she had a blank look in her face. She was dressed poorly. Had no idea she was an employee. She was rude and they had overbooked our bday reservation. There was a waiter named Steve. Very very rude. My poor mothers bday experience was ruined!! I food was not good! Very bland. Will never go here again. Looking back should never have paid anything. read more

Tried this for the first time about 15 years ago and had a chance to go again for lunch today. Ill say we had great service. The place was pretty empty so we basically had a server to ourselves. She was wonderful! We mostly ate off the lunch menu trying pizza, spaghetti with meatball, and mac and cheese. All were good. We had some leftovers but not too many, everyone was hungry. We ended our amazing meal with the collosal brownie sundae. It was absurdly big but with the help of my wife's parents we were able to finish it. I did notice that the building was ready for a refit. One door didnt work and the ceiling looked like it had leaks and a fire sprinkler was covered with duct tape. That last one is probably for the fire marshall. Then again, it adds character to the place. This is a great place with good food. Like everyone else says, its a little pricey. BUT if you do family style, just be sure to share and the price isnt too bad. We will be back. Enjoy!! read more

This place has been going downhill over the last few years. First the menu selections, Then soliciting us at dinner to buy photos, then the food quality, now the wait staff.
