Awesome place to go but BE READY FOR A CROWD! It's almost overwhelming how massive this station is, but it offers a lot. Not just a gas station or convenience store but an entire eatery, too! They have some awesome food, snacks, and neat gifts and gadgets. The bathrooms are really neat to me as they offer a personal stall that's basically an entire little room. It feels way more private than a typical store, and they even have seat cleaner for you in the stalls, as well as covers for the toilets. I felt clean in this bathroom which is uncommon for gas stations. But this was definitely way more than just a gas station! The food was bomb for a great price. I tried a burrito and it was BUSSIN! went for a brisket sandwich and sandwich never made to the stand, even when the employees keep claiming load about the brisket been cut. I finally grab two cheese and eggs-bacon sandwich . The texture was worse than Navy fake eggs. I drove for 4 hours without breakfast to enjoy the brisket. Finally I found a red hair in the sandwich. I had to through away the sandwiches. This place is pretty cool. For one, it's HUMONGOUS!! It's definitely in a class of its own. You can find items for your home like decor, candles, towels, toys for the kiddos, all kinds of candy, jams, hot sauces, souvenirs just a plethora of items. They have shopping carts available if needed. It's a very busy place but the employees are very friendly. I was just driving and kept seeing the billboards and had to check it out. The closest Buc-ee"s to me is @ 60+ miles in Leeds AL, needless to say, we only visit when in the area, which is rare. I happen to be driving by this location yesterday and stopped in as I always do. My favorite things are the whoopie pies, which are usually soft moist and delicious but the 4 I purchased yesterday, at $2.99 each, were anything but soft. They were so stale I had to cut into them with a serrated knife. I was so disappointed. I guess I will have to treat this place as I do all fast food and to-go restaurants and check my purchase before I leave the property. read more

I've heard about Bucees fandom online for a few years. I've had friends visit and tell me about this place. I took a last minute trip this weekend and realized we may be passing one! The signs start over 200 miles away. They get you so pumped up and excited. They also gave a good laugh. There is endless gas pumps here. The size of the store was crazy. I didn't realize it was that big! So many merchandise options for every taste. There was even regular home decor. I didn't have a long time to explore, but the place felt so clean and organized. This place is a huge anxiety nest. The concept is great however it has huge crowds. If you don't like crowds of people moving about around you constantly, this is not the place for you. What it does have however is some of the best well kept restrooms you will ever find in a public space. The restroom is cleaned very often. I attempted to look around but I couldn't take the crowds so I snatched a brisket sandwich and some candied pecans and got out of there ASAP. The brisket sandwich was tasteless, no flavor. Everything you read about Buc-ee's is true. The place is massive, area is clean. Staffs are constantly cleaning and restocking inventory. open 24/7, and 24/7 of consistent service. They are known for their massive footprint, bbq and fudge. But I think their bakery and tex-mex burrito, tacos are better. Hot apple pie was a hot item too, people were keep asking them about it. They have salad, fruits and deli sandwiches too if you want them. There are Tesla charging stations and green electrify America station (I think) at the far end of the site. Well now I know all the hubbub surrounding Bucee's! This place is Mecca for road trip stops! Gas pumps as far as the eye can see with anything you can imagine. And the bathrooms! Wow! So clean and with seat cleaning foam! I am impressed. With the number of people coming through here, they staff at Bucee's is hard working. Although I am not if the Jerky enjoyment persuasion, my father would have gone crazy stocking up here. I can imagine we would have had to have had dedicated Bucee's stop time added to our road trip itinerary growing up. I will be checking for Bucee's in all our future road trips for sure! read more

I was so happy to see a buc-ee's when we arrived at Leeds, AL. I thought it was only in Texas. I had seen so many videos of this place on YouTube. When I walked in, it was hard to contain my excitement and awe as I walked around. I was amazed at how huge it was and so many places to look at. I looked around, and people just acted like it was another day, but to me, it was like being a kid in a candy store. Everywhere you looked, it said Buc-ee's, and I wanted it all. I was here for a weekend so I went maybe once a day and one day even twice. All the food they make is delicious and fresh. You definitely have to try the beaver tots and beaver chips. You can't eat just one. The chicken sandwich was a thick crunchy piece of chicken with a fluffy bread. A McChicken has nothing on this. Texas cheese steak sandwich was bomb with the bell peppers in there it was so flavorful. XXL brisket sandwich - Need I say more? A little pricy but worth every penny. Apple pie- nicely fried and sweet Banana pudding cup or chocolate cup - depending on your mood I definitely recommend trying one at least. Beaver nuggets - you can not leave without it. I tried the sea salt caramel, and I couldn't stop eating it until the bag was empty. The store is super big and clean. People who work there were super nice, when they said "Welcome in" you could tell they meant it. They took pride in their work to constantly keep the store stocked and the food constantly flowing. I made my first trip to Bucee's a few months ago during a road trip with my bestie. I don't go to Leeds often, but I was definitely intentional about making a stop this time. The place is HUGE! So many gas pumps to choose for and it's totally not your average gas station once inside. There's tons of Bucee branded items, from chips to cookies and candies. There's also a hot food station that serves delicious brisket and other sandwiches. My friend and I ended up splitting a chopped brisket sandwich because it was so big. The Bucee mascot was also walking around so we snagged a pic. We also stopped by the bathroom and it was nice and clean, which was surprising considering how much traffic the place gets. It's a Buc-ee's cornucopia. Holy Buc-ees's, it's huge. There are at least 3 bays of gas tanks, not even sure how many pumps, but quite a few. My husband said they are known to have the cleanest bathrooms here. One of my engineers brought me a coffee mug from the one he went to in Texas. Now I have experienced the Buc-ee's experience myself. The staff yell out food chants as the one member chops up the brisket or sauces it up. The BBQ brisket does smell good and the cinnamon cashews and nuts. All things Buc-ee's. Great marketing and it works. It's as big as a Costco big box store anywhere. It was my first time and there was a me before Buc-ee's and a me after Buc-ee's. We were greeted by a row of 10,000 immaculate gas stations. Never wait in line for gas AGAIN. The inside was extraordinary, I wish we had more time, I could have spent 5 hours in there. Where else can you get incredible brisket for breakfast at 8 am? I had a 3.99 brisket taco for breakfast and it was INCREDIBLE. I also got the ham, egg and cheese croissant and it was life-changing. The beaver nuggets were addictive and deliciously sweet. The Best Travel Stop in the U.S. I've passed by the highway marquees a few times and was curious to stop in. I saw all the cars exiting and became Curious George. Well this place is amazing. Being from Vegas where our economy thrive on customer service, Buc-ee's would give us a run for the money. This is a mini mall. Endless gas stations, countless great food options and made to order selections, and shopping. Something for everyone. The Energy & Customer service is amazing. Super clean inside and out. Big and clean bathrooms. I even saw clean up crews outside power washing the oil stains in the parking lot. Dog park, Human Park, Campers, RV's-everyone stops here. I stayed so long, I took a nap, woke up and ate again and hit the road. .and it's a very safe and family environment. Glad I stopped and will definitely back. Wow! My first time at Buc-ee's really made an impression. I was expecting the "run of the mill" highway truck stops that they have in the East. The pumps go on forever and the inside shopping was like Walmart, but better. The reason for our stop was to get something to eat and that didn't disappoint either. The brisket sandwiches were delicious. I also had key lime pie pudding that was incredible. The fruit was sweet and jucy. I usually can say no to potato chips, but these too were irresistible. My only complaint was that there was nowhere to eat! So, we made the best of it and sat down next to a statue of Buc-ee and had a picnic! Placing about 20 picnic tables out front would definitely enhance the Buc-ee's experience. Also, it would be great to have more stores in the East. Thanks for a great time and food. read more
