However, they have a decent beer selection, a small package store, and you can purchase everything from fireworks to jewelry. A lady brings in cuttings of her plants to sell that are usually about $3, and I pick up a different type every time I come in. She also includes a blurb about the plant and how best to care for it. The prices are reasonable and the staff is always friendly. If you stop by for gas, consider checking out the famous Restaurant at Fox Valley, which is housed in the other end of the building...looks are deceiving- it's a 5 Star restaurant!

They easily have over 100 gas pumps that serve all types of gas (ethanol free, diesel, unleaded). All the gas pumps were full but it doesn't take long for someone to leave. I finally tried the fudge which was buy 4 and get 2 free. The fudge is delicious. On the inside, they sell everything. Jerky walls, fresh fudge, sandwiches, BBQ, breakfast, snacks, drinks, souvenirs, clothes, etc. I love the Beaver nuggets and they are very similar to popcorn. You can buy a can or bottle soft drink but the fountains are much cheaper. The brisket sandwich was huge and tasty. They have enough cashiers to keep the crowd moving. I will return. The bathrooms are huge and really clean.

I can save a few bucks per tank here because of that, not to mention that gas prices here run a little lower anyway than most places nearby. Cigarettes are under 5 bucks usually, which is also a plus. Tons of pumps so its never crowded or crazy to get in and out of, and a broad variety of items you'd not expect to find at a gas station. Need a deer skin rug? A wooden rocking chair? A locally made take and bake casserole? Local candies and or fudge? A wide enough variety of cheese and wine to put together a nice charcuterie board at home on the fly? And wait....wait....wait a minute....think about this for a second....they have over 50 beer taps and will sell you a pint, a quart, a half gallon or a gallon of whatever you need and the prices are very competitive. Oh yeah...I forgot to mention that there's a permanently attached BBQ truck that sits next to it in the parking lot...so yeah. Just soak all that in and remember that we're talking about a gas station. Note, they there is another gas station across the street, but what makes this place better is the simple fact that they have a car wash. From my experience, the other gas stations anywhere near this place is notorious for have people park their car and spending what seems like hours on their phone wasting my time. This location is always free from clutter and the staff always seems friendly. It is because of all above mentioned comments that i recommend this gas station, however the only reason for not giving 5 stars is the simple fact that gas station staff often changes. Yesterday I ordered the bologna egg and cheese. I received a super thick cut, slightly charred slab of good bologna topped with cheese and real fresh cracked scrambled eggs on a huge homemade biscuit. I went back today and got the pork chop biscuit and it was a relatively thick slice of perfectly fried pork loin. It wasn't over battered paper thin rubber. It was very good. This place is cheaper than your local fast food and the biscuits are better. My 2 day total is around 5 bucks and I got a coffee one of the 2 days. The people were really friendly. Everyone other than me appeared to be a regular and were known by name. I was taken care of promptly and the food was fresh and hot. I went back to back days because I was so impressed by the quality. Next time I'm traveling through the area I will stop here exclusively.
