I've always wanted to try Buc--ee's. And finally got the opportunity and was so disappointed in the food. Ordered the bbq and it was so saturated with the sauce that I had to throw it all away. The brisket was so salty I couldn't eat it. I got the key lime and it wasn't up to par either. I may give it another try one day but the utubers all gave them high reviews and maybe my expectations were propaby to high for gas station food. The food is fresh and tastes amazing, it's clean, you don't have to worry about the bathrooms because it's big and CLEAN and if you're getting gas, there's over 100 pumps there!! This rodent is holding me hostage with watermelon cotton candy. Tons of people inhabit every inch of this place and yet I guess buc-ee's people have no interest in rescuing me when this "gas station" has everything under the sun and more. Sure the bipedal beaver inflated the prices, but atleast the gas is cheaper then other gas stations. There are co-conspirators everywhere, or "employees" as they call themselves. Whether it's fresh briskets to $5 grilled cheeses with fries salty enough to kill a snail, if you are hungry for some food, they probably have it. It does not matter if the world is ending, there are always people at every possible corner, like a little cult of consumers hungry for some fresh beaver that will run over you for some fries. I am currently stuffed under the buc-ee's branded truck filled with buc-ee's branded stuffed animals, hats, baseballs, and bags. It's in front of the aisle filled with nothing but buc-ee's branded merchandise. I wouldn't be surprised if they branded the employees with the buc-ee's logo permanently onto their skin. But despite me being held hostage and most likely being brainwashed into an "employee", atleast they feed me fries occasionally, so 10/10 would recommend, better then Zaxby's in Orlando Florida. read more

Only three because quality has significantly declined from first opening. Brisket sandwich was cold and bun was stale. Fresh made chips were not fresh and crud as they should be. Colache was disappointing- just didn't seem fresh. Sanitary practices are not per their standards. If your going to require staff to wear masks, their nose should also be covered. As an ex-employee, who was not fired, I will never pour an ounce of my money into this business again. The smiles are required, there are microphones EVERYWHERE, even in the breakroom (when you get your 20-min break) regardless of 8,10, or 12 hours. The straw that broke me was when an elderly gentleman, down on his luck was trying to get to his brothers and ran out of gas.. he asked for $5 in gas, manager said no and wouldn't allow me to give him my own money. read more

The only thing about going right now is the "new" factor has everyone and their mother going here. We went this past Saturday and omg at the amount of people! Sunday it had to be 75-85% vs state required 50%. No reinforcement by management of the at least 1/3 or more of absolutely NO masks on body much less on their person. But today I stopped by pick up delicious breakfast and at the checkout line I asked the girl if they had fire starter logs for a fireplace. Amanda (in the candy area)! What a horrible person. I came into Buc-ee's this morning 11/25/2023, and Amanda was selling fudge to two customers. I waited patiently for my turn to buy candy. Amanda finished the transaction and looked at me and walked away. She went over to her co-worker and began helping with her task. About three minutes later a lady told me she will be with me and about eight minutes later she assisted me. During that time while I was being waited on, more ladies came and Amanda rushed right over to sell them fudge. Why she refused to assist me was just rude. Out of all the years I have been stopping at Buc-ee's to purchase items for myself and others, on my way back to GA, this is the worst treatment I have ever received. It was bad enough to make me not come back. I feel all customers should be treated equally. Amanda customer service skills are the worst ever! She should be fired if she doesn't want to serve all. A must see! One of the largest gas stations in the country and boasts a massive indoor shop with made to order food, pastries, nuts as well as grab and go food and drinks. Even has home decor! This place really has everything you need while on a road trip! Their beaver chips (thick cut potato chips) were great. Also, I'm picky about ice (weird, I know), but they have the best pellet ice. I love crunching on pellet ice while driving to keep me alert. Also, I was able to order a sliced brisket sandwich without bbq sauce, which I was glad for- sometimes bbq sauce can be overpowering. My son liked the chicken fingers. Their glazed nuts smelled delicious, but we didn't buy any. They also have a big selection of icees if you want a little treat. read more

So normally I'm screaming about how great buc-ee's is and how everyone needs to go and even go a little out of their way to experience it. But today was a gigantic disappointment. First to start our experience off the women's bathroom was disgusting. Poop smeared all over two potties, toilet paper all over the stall floors, and no lady to clean the restrooms in sight. From talking to my husband the men's room was not any better. But okay, places get a little busy maybe it was shift change or something else. So forward to the food. We've been to many buc-ee's like I've mentioned. We've even gone out of our way to go and today was a case where we made our 7.5 hour drive an 8.25 hour drive just so we could go by this location on our drive home. Nothing here is like the other locations. Down to the food selections and staff. The staff was not pleasant besides the gentleman at the jerky counter. He was wonderful and I wish I got his name to give him kudos. As far as the other interactions, it felt like I was dealing with a bunch of underpaid, unhappy, miserable people.
