Buc-ee's is a magical land of food, snacks, 100 gas stalls, the cleanest and most accommodating bathrooms I have ever been to, and is a true delight. Get their food, chicken and fires, 3 meat bbq sandwich, beaver nuggets, hot sauce, bbq sauce, beef jerky taffy it's all good. I spent more than 3 bills here just shopping and this is the first time in my life, I didn't have buyers remorse. I will give an update depending on how the clothes holds up, but if you go to Texas, go see the beaver. It is worth the drive and the time. You'll need at least 2 hours to shop here. read more

While looking for things to do in Dallas, we found this place literally a day before flying in. Call me crazy, but I was excited to check out this gas station/convenience store. It is not just ANY gas station, Buc-ee's can gas up 120 cars at one time! But before we gassed up, we had to check out the store. Please don't judge me, but I went crazy in there. There was a BBQ sandwich section, fudge and candied nuts section, bakery, beef jerky section, and a wall of dozens of drinks! Believe me, that wasn't all. It was pretty overwhelming. We filled our cart to the brim with candied nuts, Jerry, cookies, sandwiches, banana pudding, trail mix, basically a bunch of road trip snacks and goodies. We grabbed a couple bbq brisket sandwiches and a chicken sandwich and ate in the car - just like everyone else in the parking lot. They have a candy shop and BBQ counter right in the middle of the store!! Just grab your brisket sandwich hot off the rack and go. My coworker had a Buccee's T-shirt that mentioned Brisket. So, after I saw that, I wanted to go. Lol. My friend and I headed that way Saturday morning. It was super busy! Parking spots were taken but, I was blessed to find one right away. Thank you, Jesus. As, I entered, I think it would have been nice to be greeted by an oversized Buccees. Lol. I headed straight to the Brisket. It's a popular item and people were grabbing the sandwiches quickly. They no longer have Pickles and Onions. My Brisket Sandwich was soft, tender and salty. The Brisket was as soft as the Bun. You get a free sauce w a Sandwich. The BBQ Sauce was sweet and had a nice taste. A small drink was like .89 cents. I tasted Buccee's Cola, there, nothing like a Coca Cola. Just saying. There are no free refills either. You must get a new cup of you want seconds. I noticed when the fresh brisket came out. They chant something but, I couldn't understand what they were saying. The crowd seem to like it. It got the crowd going. There was a lot of hustle and bustle out there. A lot of families, couples on dates, Teenagers, Shoppers. You name it, it was there. Buccees does not have Pepsi or Mountain Dew in their cooler either. Buccees does not have Donuts. They do have Little Debbie Donuts tho. However, there's just about everything you can think of there. Camping gear, Candies, Candles, a coin maker, Tshirts, a Children's Section and so much more! I walked away w a cute Buccee key chain. He was sporting a Red Santa Hat! Employees were incredibly nice. There was one around each corner in a Red Shirt. They were very resourceful. Well, mission accomplished. I know what the Brisket tastes like and I got my little Buccees. I went to church the next day telling my friends how good the Brisket was. Do yourself a favor treat yourself to Buccees. It's worth the drive. That is my conclusion. read more

Roadtrips always mean Buc-ee's. The hype is real. Their bathrooms are amazingly clean, well attended to and for us, we stopped in at least 3 on this trip. This is likely the only one I checked into, but they are surprisingly all the same - even down to the end caps and product placement, lol. In one, there was a line for the women's restrooms. I was surprised, lol. The line moved very fast and several staff were inside directing folks to open stalls. Nice job. We were in for a quick bathroom break, to charge the car, and grab some snacks and coffee. It's the little things for me and Buc-ee's delivered. Low carb, keto kits were available (cheese, veggies, protein, and nuts) - thank you! The coffee bar was AMAZING. Check out my pics. Lots of dairy and non dairy options, stevia and sugar options, and multiple flavorings. WOW. All complimentary, of course. I can see why Buc-ee's is an institution here in Texas. I dont think Flyin J even comes close to the level of offering that Buc-ee's has. Someone told me today that in order to describe Buc-ee's its basicially if 7-11 and walmart had a baby. After years of coming to Texas, I finally was near a Buc-ee's so after getting to my hotel, i came here for lunch and got the xxl chopped brisket sandwich, the beaver chip, banana pudding, and a bag of the candied pecans. There were pretty much must of the favorites my friend recommend i get. Overall I have to admit the brisket is pretty good here considering that your in what i would consider to be a fast food joint. Honestly i had a brisket sandwich today at a sit down restaurant and it was dry with very little flavor. I honestly thought to myself that the Buc-ees brisket was better for about $6 dollars less. Now to be fair, i will agree with the other reviews that said there was a little too much sauce on the sandwich. I wish that you could add to taste. Also i will say that the banana pudding is pretty damm good, i think the ratio of banana pudding, fresh banana, nilla wafer and whip cream were all in perfect ratio. I have gone to legit bbq places before that didnt make one as good as the one i had a Buc-ee's. Now as far as the beaver chips and nuts, they were decent but nothing to rave about. Since i have a few more days here, im probably going back to try the pulled pork and probably a few other things. read more

On the way to Forth Worth we stopped here to check out this rest stop. The best way it was described to a Californian like me would be it is the biggest truck stop you could imagine, then double that but with no trucks. That was close except they had so much stuff.... The food area was super fun and their brisket sandwiches which I regret not getting but we were heading to have BBQ, but I digress anyway they could not keep these sandwiches stocked there was this almost feeding frenzy in that station. They had many other options in that bbq station that looked delicious, pulled pork. Sausages, and other bbq goodies. Behind that station we got candied pecans from a huge variety of candied nuts, that where all freshly made and warm, that was next to the fudge station which was across the bakery with a variety of cookies and other desserts, we had a yummy macadamia nut cookie, which was next to the twenty foot isle of jerky, which was adjacent the full isle of icees, which was next to a huge section of every conceivable type of gummy. Which was next to........ok you get the picture they had so much stuff plus every type of gift shop stuff clothes, wears, collectibles, and I almost forgot freshly made potato chips which we of course had. The restrooms were impecable with someone cleaning and freshing them up all the time. For as many people as there where the lines where efficient and cashier extremely friendly. Outside the endless rows of gas pumps were all full, this place can be a bit overwhelming but so much fun, yet another type of place I wish we had in Cali. read more

It's a giant bucees as always. They have registers at every exit which is super convenient and nicer than having to wait at the main checkout. They have cleanings bathroom and tons of snacks for everyone. 10/10 would recommend to any road trippers or visitor. read more

I'm taking stars away, at least for this location. The first reason, and this is not the main reason, gas price is not obvious from the road. Like I said, no big deal, we all have an app for that... But what really bothered me was there was no window washing squeegee at the pump. In every other Buc-ees, or gas station for that matter, the trash cans have them. Not here. See pictures. What's up with that? Maybe there's another option, but I didn't feel like look for it. BTW, I fueling at the pumps on the north side. Also worth noting is that Buc-ees, like everywhere else, has gotten more expensive. I think this is the first time I walked out without anything to eat, or give as a gift. I did buy a large coffee. I must say we do love Buc-ees. We stopped at one near Houston and didn't have enough time to shoo around so when we were headed to TX again we knew we had to find a Buc-ees and spend sufficient time browsing. They are known to have the cleanest bathrooms. Guess what? They were clean and a ton of stalls just like a ton of gas pumps! The selection of drinks on tap, jerky & candy is insane. We picked up a sliced brisket sandwich, candy, jerky, banana pudding, beaver nuggets, and warm candied cashews. You can grab lunch here there is so much to choose from if brisket is not your thing. They had sandwiches, salads, bakery items, you name it. Gas here is cheap so it is worth the visit if not to fill up on food and snacks. The food & snacks are not cheap but it's the experience. The candied cashews were tasty and warm. They smelled so good as the machine churned them out. The brisket sandwich was decent. The beaver nuggets were tasty once I got used to them. The jerky was okay too. We opted for the cherry maple (it had the softest chew). Again, must stop to see what the hype is about. read more

Uhhh, it's a gas station, but also a one stop shop for EVERYTHING. They had a jerky wall, clothes, toys, a BBQ sand which shop and a fudge place! Get some fudge, our helper was super patient and let us try different ones and it's SO WORTH TO IT. Definitely recommend the blueberry cheesecake fudge. The brisket sandwich and burrito was amazing. What's not to like? You can spend hours in buc-ees and not get bored. I stopped here while heading out of fort worth. And if you're headed to visit family, buying them items from here is a must. Got some shirts and fridge magnets for the bunch. There is also a ton of food items from the prepackaged to the freshly prepared. I got the tater tots and a bacon breakfast sandwich. I wasn't a fan of the sandwich . It was too salty and greesy for my taste. Luckily I got the brisket sandwich as a backup, that was delishous. Was told by two employees AND an assistant manager that they cannot serve their chopped brisket sandwiches WITHOUT their sauce. I literally stood there watching them chop 50 plus pounds of brisket then adding sauce and wrap sandwiches. What the hell? The reply was that corporate dictates NO CHOPPED BRISKET CAN BE SERVED WITHOUT SAUCE. Good BBQ doesn't need sauce. In conclusion, stay away from Buc-ee's BBQ.
