Everything is over priced but that is so be expected people who are traveling come here often. Service is fast and cashiers are friendly, kind, and seem to really care that you have a good experience. You can find everything from home decor, clothing, food, to camping supplies and gifts. we make it a priority to stop here every time we pass it on a trip. The bathrooms are always in great condition and there are many options for snacks no matter what your diet or preference. (Note: you might want to grab one of their mini shopping carts if you've never been here before because you WILL be browsing all their collections of stuff and you will end up buying something.) Need to entertain the kids for a bit? Head to Bucees. Icees, ice cream, the famous beaver statute, and of course a ton of stuff and tee shirts branded with the beaver. (They are going to want a tee-shirt, and so will you.) (Try their zebra popcorn with the Carmel and chocolate. It's a shareable size and addicting.) Need a gift for a shower? Forgot your spouses birthday or that it's your anniversary? No problem! Save your marriage and avoid sleeping on the sofa by heading to Bucees! You WILL find a great gift there that he/she will love. Great big beautiful Buc-ee's across from Texas Motor Speedway and off the highway--ideal location much?! Love the selection of snacks, hot and cold food, local treats; love the enthusiasm of the employees, love the cleanliness of the store and its bathrooms. Lots of places to pump gas and parking spaces abound. I also love that working there has its perks. $13-15 an hour and that's not even management positions! I wish I lived closer--working at Buc-ee's would totally be my side hustle. Got to love you some Buc-ee's!!!!!! read more

We enjoy an occasional walk through Bucc-we'd. We live very close to the one near TX Motor Speedway so we chose when to go there. Race days are crazy! The home decor area is my favorite, my family loves the jerky and the fudge is a nice treat. read more

No social distancing whatsoever, no enforcement of mask rules at all. Walked in, it was packed and half the people I saw were blatantly not wearing masks. All except one employee were wearing their masks incorrectly under their noses. I left upset and uncomfortable without buying anything. If you care at all remotely about Covid DO NOT come. First time ever stepping foot in a Buc-ee's, what a fun experience. Got a pina colada soda and some beef jerky for the road. The store was packed with all kinds of Knick knacks, snacks and apparel. We absolutely love this place and always have to stop by it (either this one or the one between Austin and San Antonio). I am always amazed by how many gas pumps they have yet they are always in use (but no waiting to find one open.) And the gas is always cheap. Once you go inside, you don't know how to describe the place: a combination of grocery store, fast food as well as made to order food (lots of varieties), clothing store, souvenir store and much more. We Love the wide variety of food, snacks, meats, etc. I really enjoyed the free sample of pumpkin butter on a tasty graham cracker. They have plenty of clean bathrooms. We ALWAYS stop at buc-ees when we're in TX. The downside is that it's never a short stop. My wife loves shopping here, but I don't mind it either :-). If you have never been to a Buc-cees, this is a must stop at and see kind of place. And there's four along our route to chose from. read more

Always great customer service! Some food are over priced and some are cheaper, such as the chicken tenders meals. The fudge is about $3.50 a piece which I believe is a little expensive for just fudge. I do love walking around, enjoying the variety they offer. UPDATE!!!!!! We LOVE this place and we were so excited when they opened one near us. The closest one used to be about 3-4 hours away....but we still stopped everytime we were near it. Just going is an adventure in itself!!! Where to start? The key to one's heart? Yes, the food. The originality of this place amazes me! Fresh beef jerky? They got it! Fresh sandwiches? They got it! Fresh desserts? They got it! Snacks and drinks? They have them too, EVERYWHERE!! Tons of choices on fountain drinks - they even have their own flavors, like black cherry or mango. At least 8 slurpee flavors and the same for coffees. Then of course there are drinks in the glass fridges. They make their own beef jerky, fudge, pastries - all in-store. You can even sample them before you buy. They also have them available pre-packaged if you'd prefer to just grab-n-go. Walls of candy and other snacks, as well as fresh yogurt, salads, sub-sandwhiches, fruit cups, vegetable cups, etc. You could walk around looking at all the knickknacks for hours. Each time we go, there is always something (lots of things) changing by week, month, even season. From Texas souvenirs, to wall art and house decor - and that's on top of everything else. We were headed back from vacation and stopped here around 8:30. The place is packed but for good reason. The staff are friendly, the restrooms are clean and the atmosphere is remarkable. I usually make a point to get a sliced brisket sandwich and a bbq sausage one (onions and pickles added) but it was breakfast time. I saw they had brisket breakfast tacos and got 2. Now, when it comes to breakfast tacos, I usually get salsa with them but decided not to this time so that I can taste the brisket. Those in the know do their briskets with salt, pepper and smoke...no need for other spices to mess with the flavor of the meat. These were no exception. Cut to 10 minutes later driving and taking my first bite. I closed my eyes for a moment with a soft moan. The perfect balance of salt, pepper and smoke. The brisket was super tender and the flour tortilla was a soft and perfect complement. No bbq or picante sauce needed We also picked up of all things gluten-free peanut butter/ chocolate chip cookies. Well balanced peanut butter flavor and they melt in your mouth. I'm not a gluten free kind of guy by any stretch but I would definitely get those cookies again if I had the chance. When I first visited it's a pure wonderland. Meh, not worth all the hype. Everyone I know has told me how cool this place is so I had to stop by. Cool place to come if you need to get some TX souvenirs or if you like that crazy beaver creature. Otherwise, it's an enormous gas station with an even bigger inside area with basically anything and everything you can think of. It's like a 7-11 / grocery store / home goods all in one. If you've never been to Buc ee's you have no idea what I'm talking about. This is like nothing else that you've ever done. This is the force unto itself. This is a super Duper gas station, super Duper unbelievable convenience store, super Duper unbelievable fresh goods market; and so much more! They have a huge station where they make their own barbecue sandwiches and other barbecue items. They have a huge station where they offer 30 or 40 different variations on pastries. Try the Kolache's! They have a tremendous area to get drinks and coffee. They have a specialty nut station. Love the fresh candied pecans. You can find a great selection of the best beef jerky anywhere here. Plus Candy...plus chips, and tons and tons of other unique things. How about a Mini Joe Gambino's New Orleans King Cake! They have the best, largest, cleanest restrooms America. Tons of parking. Reasonable pricing! Very friendly, helpful staff. Everything is so fresh! You just can't go wrong at Bucee's. I told my nephew I was upset at him because he hadn't taken me to Buc-ee's... I really did love this place and I will be going back! It's a one stop shop! You fill up your gas tank, have a delicious meal and do some shopping at the same time. We parked the tractor part of our truck in the back of the parking lot and when we got back there was a manager standing there who stated we had to leave. He was very rude!
