She was so friendly! I dropped Bubbles off and she said to come back in an hour. I came back in an hour and Bubbles was so cute. Normally Petco and Petsmart keeps Bubbles for hours! I made an appointment and was told that for a bath and nails it would be about 2 hours. Because my dog is blind I'm kind of a nervous dog mom, so I dropped her off, then set a time for 2 hours...no call. Gave it another half hour - nothing by, so I called to check in (especially bc another review had brought up issues with them getting to their dog and communication). They told me that she was ready, so I went and picked her up. She seemed a little damp so I figured they'd dried her as much as possible without scaring the hell out of her. Got home and my boyfriend was like "she doesn't smell like she got a bath" which is weird for a post-groom. Then I took a closer look at her nails - they were still long and her dew claw seemed way too long and curled. This just wasn't acceptable but they'd already gotten my money and I really didn't want to call or go back. Aside from not feeling like my dog was properly groomed, I really wasn't impressed with the place itself. Because it's a "pet spa" (which I use loosely based on my experience) and a doggy daycare type place, the smell of dog feces/urine overpowers the smell of the spa. And it just didn't seem like a very professional business to be honest. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Maybe as a last resort but that's even after a bath outdoors with the hose.

My dog is skittish so I wasn't sure how her first ever grooming would go. Let's just say I am beyond happy! They far exceeded my expectations! I was able to get Phoebe in quickly. I waited less than 2 weeks to get her in. Her hair was very long and was becoming very matted from baths. I couldn't believe my eyes when I picked her up! It took 4 hours because of the work ahead. They have a system that just texts you when your dog is ready to be picked up. My dog looked absolutely gorgeous! The work that Jerrica did was top-notch. Phoebe looks like she's pageant ready! Haha! I highly recommend Dapper Dog. It was very affordable and they were clearly good with my dog because she didn't really want to leave when I picked her up! She loves it already which is so comforting. FYI they take cards there and you can tip on the credit card as well.
