I like the convenience of being able to just walk in but the people cutting the hair have no skills! Every time I take my kid there I regret it because it look so bad! read more

Such a cute place for a first haircut. The $35 experience includes a framed certificate with a photo of your child and a lock of hair. There are toys and videos available to keep your first-timer stimulated enough to forget he's getting a haircut! read more

I'm putting Bubble Cuts at 3 stars for the time being because I'm ambivalent with our first experience here. So, the kids LOVED coming here for their hair cut and they had a lot of fun. They love just coming to the place where I get my haircut and watching so maybe that eased them into getting their hair cut? Who knows. All the kid-friendly attractions they have are perfect. The pricing is also fair for hair cuts. Where I'm a bit sad, I didn't think the styles that they cut for both of my daughters were nice at all. My wife said with my one daughter they were done in about 5 minutes and she has all these weird layers in her. Now when trying to braid her hair (which she loves looking like Elsa) It's hard to do as there are pieces sticking out from everywhere. My other daughter, her hair was cut a lot shorter than we wanted and also had a few strange layers so I was pretty disappointed when they came home and had these strange haircuts. However on the flip side, it's been over a month and the one daughter whose hair was too short, as her hair is growing back, it looks a lot better than it did before we even had it cut! Maybe she needed that cut to level set her hair? My other daughter still has all these layers, but now they sort of look like the Jennifer Aniston look of the mid-late 90's so it's not terrible, but still not ideal. Maybe it's our fault for not being more specific? I'm not opposed to going back as my kids loved it so much, but I think an explanation of what we'd like done will be necessary next time! read more

Love this place. Getting haircuts for my kids used to be a nightmare. They would wail and cry every single time when we went to other places. But Bubble Cuts? They are so excited to go every month. Rita and Violet are our absolute favorites. It is so refreshing to take them in for cuts, and know that they are going to be happy the whole time. The place is clean, they have a play area for the kids, TV's for distractions, and awesome little car chairs to sit in. Highly recommend this place! read more

We love taking our kids to get their hair cut here. They take time to get it just right, and always double check with me as they cut. There are also lots of toys to keep the kids entertained while they wait. Every kid gets a balloon and a lollipop, which always goes over well. It's always a positive experience, and we'll keep going back. read more

They didnt bother to show up for our appt. My 2 yr old was so dissapointed. Horrible customer service. Who does that. We had breakfast across the st. They still werent open. Your loss. read more

I am blown away by this salon. My very squirmy and unhappy 1.5 year old son ended up with a great hair cut! Our stylist worked quickly and safely and both my kids were all smiles with their after haircut balloons. If we lived in the area, we'd go here all the time! read more

No customer service whatsoever took my niece to get a haircut absolutely hate it. The owner is extremely rude. Its a kids place trying to get a haircut so you should have more patience with kids No don't recommend will not go there again rather take my business somewhere else. read more

This place is adorable! The ladies were amazing to my little girl during her first hair cut! Reasonably priced and a very good value if you get the first haircut package. read more

If you want to go to place where you have to part your child's hair for the stylist, tell them to fix the cut two times and still walk out with the right side of your child's hair longer than the left side, then this is your place! Thanks Bubble Cuts! We will not be returning. read more

Greta does a great job with my 4 and 7 year old boy and girl. Place is clean and fun. Kids usually want to stay and play after.

Bubble Cuts - Kids Hair Salons Near Me - Montrose, California

Not very good. Took my toddler girl for a haircut. The lady spent literally 2 minutes cutting her hair. She just sprayed water on her hair, combed her hair, took her scissors and just just cut along the bottom. Then she said she was done. I could have done that at home and for free. Later at home I noticed there was slight unevenness on the bottom. I guess this place thinks that just because they cut kids hair there's no technique or styling required. Pretty unprofessional. read more

Had such a great experience with my son's first haircut here today! Karen was so kind, and she gave my son a very cute summer cut. This is a perfect salon for children. They have televisions at every station, and my child could watch Mickey Mouse while getting his hair cut. What a great help that was! Will be coming here regularly to keep my son's hair looking good! read more

We used to drive to another location and are so happy to have this new location open up within walking distance of our home. Our 2 year old gets super excited when we tell him we are going to bubble cuts - the fire engine chair is his favorite!! Thanks for always doing such a great job Violet! read more

We had a very good stress-free experience at this salon. The stylist was friendly, patient and professional. My son's hair looked very nice after she finished. We will definitely return here again! read more

Cute place for kids! Entertaining cars to sit in while getting a cut and each station has it's own On-demand TV. And...they have a play area as well!! read more

Really cute place! I love the way they decorated the store so that kids feel comfortable getting a haircut. My sister brings my nephew here and they're really patient with him, although he hates haircuts. The owners are very sweet and attentive. I'd highly recommend! read more

I had been taking my son to Bubble Cuts Eagle Rock for years, but our preferred stylists kept leaving. I moved my kids over to Little Kuts on Lake, and after a really terrible haircut for each (think Dumb and Dumber bangs, despite that I specifically requested to keep both of their bangs long), I just started letting my kids' hair grow out. My son, now 6.5 yo was begging for a shorter cut so we tried BC Montrose two months ago and got Greta. She did a fantastic job with what I then requested, a styled version of his long hair. I was so pleased. We just went back to Greta today to chop it all off for the summer, and I could not have been more happy with my son's haircut. Greta manages to be both meticulous and quick, and completely patient and kind (even to the nervous hovering mama who was worried about this big change going wrong). It helped immensely that I showed her photos of what I wanted for my son, and she even asked to see them again when she was finishing the cut. I was so happy I wanted to dance. And now my son has an adorable and comfortable haircut. I cannot recommend her enough! read more

Loved this little joint! Cute place - kids got to sit in little cars and watch TV! My girls loved the experience and staff was sweet enough to go extra and put glitter in their hair! So sweet!! They got balloons at the end of their haircut. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Bubble cuts is the only place I take my kids. We love Violet, her work is exceptional and she's always so sweet, my kids adore her. The service is amazing and best of all it's quick. Not to mention the kids love the personalized entertainment and the little play area, and most importantly it's always very clean. read more

Very rude and arrogant staff. Have chip on their shoulder. Refused to take walk in even though place was empty.

DO NOT GO THIS PLACE. Left frustrated and insulted. staff are rude and even told my nephew to tone it down?!! this is a kids salon not a library read more

Experienced barbers, very friendly. This is our fourth visit and we're leaving happy every time.

Took my son here for his 1st cut. He was so enjoying the Fire truck chair and the veggie tales on TV that he let her cut it with ease. The cut turned out great and he loved it! Even got a sucker on his way out.. As for this place they have 4 individual stations each with their OWN tv. They can play a bunch of programming for your child of your choice while the hair is being cut. They have a play area for siblings who are waiting and a large screen that happened to be playing curious George when I was in. My son loves Curious George... It was perfect. It is wonderfully decorated and really made the haircut an enjoyable experience NOT ONLY for my son, but for Mom and Dad also. Loved it. They even gave him a baloon on way out and had childrens hair products for sale... HIGHLY recommend for your little ones. We will be back. read more

I went there for the first time because of all the reviews but it was a terrible experience. First, they don't even listen to what style you want and messed up the hair cut. Second, they are rude and not friendly. I was not happy with the service or the hair cut. The only thing they have going is the location which drives their business. Other than that, I'd go somewhere else. read more

Bubble Cuts is great! My daughter loves this place as do I! The hairdressers are wonderful and very gentle with kids. Clean environment and my little one is entertained while big sis gets a cut! read more

My daughter had her hair cut here last weekend and she truly enjoyed the experience. It was easy to make an appointment and there was literally no waiting. I had my younger son with me also and he was able to be entertained by the toys/decor here. Really cool place for kids, friendly staff, and an overall great place! Would truly recommend this salon! read more

Cute and clean but I always regret coming here. The haircuts are awful. I always end up standing behind the stylist telling them where they need to even it out, etc. It's also pretty expensive for kids haircuts. You're paying for the cute chairs and the Netflix. read more

OLD 2019 review, thought I'd still post, because I'll never forget this terrible experience. Please note, in all fairness, this lady may no longer work there, but even so, just in case: I took my toddler to cut her bangs. Took maybe 5 minutes, paid 12$, plus 5$ tip. Less than 30 mins later, I noticed the lady missed several sections, so I had to go back (BTW, parking is DIFFICULT). I was holding my daughter's face gently, my daughter was being fairly still, but she kept forcefully grabbing her face and jerking it towards her, in a very aggressive manner, and blaming my 2 year old for moving her eyebrows! I was trying SO HARD TO USE ALL MY PATIENCE NOT TO REACT because who does that?!?! That's the worse part, but also, she messed up her bangs even more!! That day and the next day I spent at least 30 minutes trying to fix my daughters bangs because there is NOOOOO way I'm going back to this place. I can still see one of her obvious mistakes in all of the pictures we've taken. more than 10 days later, and I'm still suffering the consequences. read more

bad service. they told us come by 3:45pm . drove all the way to the salon n got there at 3:41pm and they said they are closing and refused to take us. Then front desk lady whom i talked should've said it on the phone Or let us know so in the text that Carlos sent. this is no joke. What an unpleasant and unprofessional service. i do not recommend this salon for those who are working mommies & daddies Or who value their time with their busy life. read more

Fantastic place for kids' haircuts. We have been to several other kids' places as well as supercuts (which was a disaster btw)- this is all 3 of my kids' favorite place- hands down. Kids tv/lollypops and balloons- it's fast, tear-free and they always do a terrific job. Highly recommend! read more

My husband and I took our 15 month old daughter to get her first haircut at Bubble Cuts on a Sunday, about an hour before closing. I had called earlier in the week to check about making an appointment first, but was told over the phone that they only accept walk-ins on the weekends. We ended up waiting 10-15 minutes tops, during which my daughter occupied herself by playing with toys in the salon's designated play area. We were looking to get her a pixie cut (which we knew was a little unconventional for a baby girl) and unfortunately the stylist did miss the mark a bit, but our daughter still ended up with a nice, short haircut. But most importantly, she didn't complain or fuss while getting her haircut! The stylist worked quickly and even brought over a toy for her to look down at so that she could maneuver her head down to cut the hair along the back of her neck. And since we informed them that it was her first ever haircut, they were careful to collect whatever trimmings they could for us to keep. We decided to pay an extra $15 to get a cute framed certificate designating the day of her first haircut, with the trimmings placed inside, and a photo - which I was impressed that they even offered! But the main reason I felt compelled to leave a good review was for their courteous and friendly service staff. They even give out balloons to the kids as they walk out! I would definitely bring my daughter to get her haircut here again, just not maybe for a super trendy cut. read more

Always love the haircuts I get. Love the people and personalities. They are very kid friendly and my bro 2 year old bro always looks sharp

Second time I brought my 4yr old son AND my husband to Bubble Cuts on Honolulu and We wouldn't go anywhere else!!! Both got matching "side-part" hair cuts which she did perfectly, exactly like the picture we showed them!! 100% best place for both men's and boys hair style/cuts in several surrounding cities!! They know what they are doing and that's rare these days!!! Next it's mommys turn to try!! :) ask for Greta!!!! read more

Our son's first haircut at 15-month old! Violet is very friendly with kids and professional with parents. She is well-skilled and works quickly with little ones. We had a great experience and are pleased with the style and cut. Greta is also very nice and great with kids. My only suggestion to the store is to put better lighting for photo-taking purposes. It's a bit dark during the day (with back-lit from the windows). Additional overhead lights would be great for posting photos. read more

Been there twice. We love this place. Very clean and professional. Our favorite hair stylist is Violet. Thanks for being so patient.

I took my 2 (almost 3) year old son here the other day. They did a great job on his haircut! I went on a Wednesday morning right at 10 and was able to walk right in and put him in the fire truck- no waiting (I did not make an appointment). The woman who cut his hair did a very nice job. She was very friendly. Most importantly, she was fast!! I was in and out before my two year old or my 6 month old lost interest. I will definitely be going back. read more
