Not a good place to bring your child for a haircut, not very friendly and these people do not take their time and do a poor job, very uneven and choppy haircut, not worth $20..they don't know what they are doing.they ruined my sons hair.. read more

Went there for the first haircut. The person who did the haircut had a horrible attitude, which she supposed to be very nice and friendly since she works with little kids!!! Even thou she knew it was our first haircut, she didn't mention about their first haircut package and I was so busy with my little one to keep him calm so she can do her job! So pissed we missed the package and certificate. read more

I bring my little brother here all the time and I drive out here from Orange County. Violet has exceptional service and she is really wonderful with my little brother. She's also very patient and that's what I really like about her! read more

Well my 22 month old just had her first haircut and I am crying. THat was the worst experience I have had in a hair establishment. My daughter's hair looks terrible!!! The stylist did not listen to anything I said and when I asked questions during the cut she was extremely argumentative. I should have listened to the other posts that said the staff was rude. To top it all off, I waited for her to make a certificate (35$$$) only for her to spell July "jully". When I told her that July was spelled wrong she argued with me about that too and insisted it was correct until she looked it up on her phone. She then asked me to write out the certificate. Ugh. I'm sick to my stomach. Did I mention her hair is completely chopped off and terrible ??!!! read more

This place has horrible customer service. You dont feel welcome at all! Not to mention, my nephew's hair ended up having different lengths on each side. We are definitely not returning and wont recommend to anyone!! read more

The two stars for the review are for the fact that my nephew walked out of here with a balloon, sucker and got to watch Mickey Mouse while he had his haircut. We have been here twice before had each time the same experience....the staff is rude, they give the haircut they want not what you ask them for and its way too expensive!!!! We walked in on a Wednesday morning at exactly 10am when they open, as soon as we walked in, instead of being greeted I was asked "do you have an appointment?!!", I replied "good morning, no I did not make appointment, should I come back later?". She then proceeded to walk to the computer and told me to wait. So we did....for 15 minutes!!!! No other clients were there, the phone wasn't ringing, she was literally just staring at the computer for 15 minutes. I finally told her i would just come back another time ( with no intent to return obviously). Then she finally said she would take him. He sat down, and I explained to her how I wanted his haircut, she shook her head yes. That's it! She never spoke to me, never spoke to my nephew. When she was done she said "all done" and walked away. I understand there may be a language barrier....then please do not work in customer service. It cost $25 to trim a 3 year olds hair....that's crazy!!! If the overall experience was friendly, fun and enjoyable for my nephew, I might be back to pay that price but not with rude staff! read more

I took my niece to get her hair cut and we had the best hairdresser, Karina. She knew exactly how we wanted her hair cut and was so patient with her. She engaged in conversation with my niece and made sure to give her a great experience...we will be back again to see Karina! read more

They are not very good with doing hipster cuts for straight fine hair. My son has a lot of this kind of hair so I usually take him to a hairdresser friend but his hair was way too long and so I thought I'd give Bubble Cuts one more try since it's so close, convenient, cute and clean. They shave quickly (which I love) and the ladies there are super nice, but no finesse to the cuts. I'm used to seeing hairdressers cut down into the hair (when they gather the hair between their fingers). Our lady did a blunt cut across for every time she held his hair up to cut. My son now has something like a chili bowl undercut. :-( And to add some texture she used some scissors that just go in and snip some hairs, but it was too much for the kind of hair he has. Now his hair looks thin while before it was thin but so full you couldn't tell. Next time I can't get a hold of my friend I'm going to try an old school Barber Shop. Sorry B.C. I will say though one kid with crazy thick wavy hair got a cute cut, so they may work better with more forgiving hair. Now I'm off to buy some hair products to try and disguise my boy's cut until it grows out. read more

Highly recommend Violet!!! This is the second time she has cut my sons hair and she did an amazing job. I gave her the reigns to do whatever she thought would look good and the haircut came out perfect. A plus for my son is that he got a balloon and lollipop after his haircut. read more

Violet was wonderful. My 2 year old was terrified and crying the entire time but Violet was very patient and kind throughout the whole thing. And the hair cut looks pretty good considering he wouldn't sit still. read more

Had a great experience here today with my two-year old! They really make it fun to get a haircut. Personal tvs are a nice touch. Started the cut with blowing some bubbles, had some yummy smelling raspberry spray, and a balloon at the end sealed the deal. Our stylist, Tanya, was sweet and put my son at ease. I'm happy with the cut and the cute vintage decor was perfect in pictures! We have our new go-to kids haircut salon. read more

Love this place, specially Getta is the best hairstylist. I have been taking all my three kids for their haircuts here for several years. They all love coming here. read more

This place is SO great. It's really set up for kids to have a wonderful experience. My son is almost two and he's had two haircuts so far by Greta and Violet who were both excellent. He has a hard time with the loud sound of the clippers and they both went out of their way to make him feel comfortable, distracting him with balloons and bubbles and they even have individual TVs set up and you can pick what you want to watch!!! I was really impressed and my son loves playing in the salon before and after his cut. Highly recommend!!!!! read more

This is the only place my kids love going to to get their hair cuts! The service is great, the work is great, and I've never had such an easy experience taking my kids to get their haircuts! read more

Thank you Miss Greta for being so patient and giving a good hair cut to our son Jayden.

Great experience for entire family. We're definitely coming back to see Violet. So much better than Yellow Balloon in Studio City. Worth the drive out of the way! read more

Took in my 5 yr old and we both came out smiling! Loved the cut and most importantly the stylist was so patient with my son. He refused to get his hair cut at first but the lady came over and started playing with him... Before I knew it he was on the chair getting his hair cut! Thank you bubble cuts! See you guys soon! read more

We've been here about 4 times or so now and normally Violet cuts my son's hair. The last time someone else did it and while she was nice, it wasn't cut enough. But I had to go because my 2 yo was getting restless. When I got home I realized it definitely wasn't short enough. So I went back today and Violet once again worked wonders. She essentially did an entire new cut for free. Thank you Violet!! She will be the one I ask for every time now. Now I just need to remember to give her an extra big tip the next time!! read more

This is seriously the best salon for little kids. I always bring my little niece to Violet. She's so gentle and sweet. I definitely recommend this salon! read more

My two year old recently got her first haircut here. It is clean and decorated super cute! Violet was very sweet. After she was done cutting my baby's hair she braided it and sprinkled her head with glitter. My girl is still talking about it! Great first experience. read more

My kids love going to Bubble Cuts! Not only is it extremely kid friendly, but they also leave with a great haircut every time! I have 2 girls with different hair textures (1 is jet straight and the other is wavy) and the hairdressers know how to cut each one's hair to bring out each one's unique qualities. I've also had their hair done for wedding up-do's when they were flower girls and I was extremely satisfied every time. It looked great and it held up all night. Bubble Cuts is our go to place for haircuts for our kids! read more

Love this place! My son is a very difficult client, and the stylists have always been super patient and sweet to him. We always walk out with a super cute cut! Totally recommend!! read more

I don't know why they charge so much. This will be the last time I take my 3 year old here for a haircut. The ladies here do not know a thing about styling hair. Luckily his hair will grow back. They wanted to charge me $20 for a basic cut and my son has short hair as it is. Completely overpriced for the results received. My son had even hair and now she cut it uneven. I am so upset and cant believe these people have been hired to cut hair. The shop has a cute set up and that's about it. read more

This one is the worst... the Armenian lady's are impatient and it's suppose to be a kids place... go to eagle rock they are much nicer and friendly with the kids... there was no reason for the rude behavior I was given so I drive the extra ten minutes to go to eagle rock or just another kids haircut place... read more

I brought my son into the Honolulu branch this morning. Karina was so helpful and friendly. She made sure my son was fully entertained with Curious George, toy cars, a helicopter, and a personal story time! I honestly had the hardest time taking my son out of there as he did not want to leave. Thanks Karina! We will definitely be back soon! read more

Worst place ever. Don't fall for the nice place: service is terrible, hairdressers dont know how to cut hair at all (I am serious) and have no idea of how to deal with children. The people that work there improvised themselves as hairdressers and think they can get away with it because it's only kids... Horrible. read more

I brought my son and daughter and I got amazing service from violet. Kid friendly salon. I will defiantly be back again and will recommend to friends and family! read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, Just like many others have posted. I normally don't do this, but I was so frustrated today and just can't help but leave this review. Let me just start out by saying that we have been a loyal customer from my son's first hair cut at 1yo. He's already 2.5. I would also like to add that my son doesn't really enjoy getting haircuts, not sure what scares him, if its the sound of the buzzer or just the scissors itself. However, it takes some convincing for him to get on the chair and it could be rather difficult. For this reason, i always dread taking him to get his hair cut. The ladies there weren't much help in my situation either. Today we went, when it was our turn, of course my son started crying and refusing to get on the chair. So the lady who was going to cut his hair and I decided to let the other 2 kids go ahead of us until I try to convince him. So after a while I finally was able to get him on the chair and wait patiently for the lady to finish. I understand, it was partly my fault that my son was acting that way, but what can I do? He's just a kid and he's scared. There were two ladies, they both finished the kids they were working on and all of a sudden they both disappeared to the back where they went to have coffee (i could hear this because I heard them speak about coffee in Armenian). Long story short, I was standing there, with my kid in the chair for 10 mins and I' m not idding no one even bothered to tell me that they were taking a break and will be right back. They just disappeared, leaving me hanging, by myself in the salon, as if they didnt want to cut my kids hair. So when my patience was running extremely low, I took my kid out of the chair and walked out. Not sure if they even realized I left. Horrible horrible customer service.. That is no way to treat a customer! Lets just say I need to start looking for a more friendly plce to get my kids hair cut! read more

Unfortunately my experience at this salon if you'd like to call it a salon was a disaster. I was a walk in two hours before closing and they only had one stylist working. They had appointments stacked throughout the evening until closing time but because everyone seem to get the quickest haircut possible with minimal work and effort it left openings so that a walk-in could get squeezed in between appointments. As a buckled my child into one of the chairs to start his haircut, The next appointment arrived approximately 15 to 20 minutes early and demanded that the stylus start them because they have other appointments throughout the day. The stylist being very intimidated by this customer, proceeded to ask me if I could take my child out of the chair and wait till after their appointment. At this point I have already waited through two appointments so that I could be squeezed in between appointments. I proceeded to thank them for their time took my child out of the chair and proceeded to walk out of the salon never to look back. I suggest if you'd like to get your beloved children's haircut, find some of the other many fine barbershop/hair salons in the area that will do a better job than this location. read more
