After years of biting my nails, and then getting acrylic/biogel extensions to cover them up, my nails were left extremely thin, brittle and damaged. I came to bubble bath nails for my first time, and saw Vanessa for biogel nail extension removal + shellac manicure and she PROPERLY removed the nail extensions (unlike other places I've been to where they just rip them off). She took her time and used caution and care to ensure no further damage was done to my already damaged nails. She checked in with me throughout the entire process to make sure I was happy with everything, and constantly checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable and wasn't in pain. She gave me lots of advice and tips on how I can start to repair the damage to my nails. From now on, I will ONLY be coming to see Vanessa because unlike any other nail technician I've seen, she made me feel like she truly cares about me and the state/health of my nails - rather than providing bad advice just to make an extra sale. Love this spa! Such great ambiance, and great service too, all at a very affordable price. They offer mani+pedi (not shellac) for $35. Amazing value! You can do shellac if you want, but just not sure what the price is for it. I thoroughly enjoyed my mani+pedi experience and am going back again. This salon has a lovely atmosphere with comfortable chairs, soothing music and subtitled rom/com movies playing on flat screen TVs. I really liked the honesty of my nail technician. I attended for a regular manicure and enquired about shellac manicures. She told me that shellac polish can be damaging to nails if done on a consistent basis. She advised only having shellac done up to 4 times a year to protect the integrity of your nails, I wish I could give this salon more stars but unfortunately the nail tech nipped to much cuticle and I now have an infection :( Also, after injuring me she left the rest of my nails with little bits of cuticle uncut. I really hate paying full price for a shoddy manicure and I will not be going back. read more

Love this place - my friend had told me about it when she found out I was going to another nail salon near by. The ladies are extremely polite and kind. They are very accomodating for walk in appointments. Even when my bio gel nail removal took a little longer than anticipated, they didnt make a big deal that they were closing within the hour and did not rush the process. Their basic pedicure is amazing! you get a scrub and massage where some places do not offer this. The prices are competitive and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I highly reccomend it! read more

Honestly, nothing to call home about. It was easy to make an appointment and the woman who did my manicure was nice enough, but it hadn't even been 3 days and colour on my nails was already starting to chip. I was also asked to pay for my manicure before I even sat down (struck me as odd, shouldn't I wait to pay until after so I can judge how to tip since I was paying by card?) and pretty much abandoned after I sat down at the nail dryers. Anyways, I only got the basic manicure but I've had better results elsewhere. I had high hopes after reading all the other reviews here but I was disappointed with what I got. I went in to get shellac mani and pedi. The girl that did my nails did everything so fast and I got a very rushed feeling, I feel like she could have been more meticulous. The nails on the day of looked pretty good but after a few days the shellac at the bottom started to "flip up/flake off". Not a bad salon but not the best that i've been to.. but maybe there are other better nail technicians there. I liked the feel of the salon though. it was modern, clean and dimly lit. I have been a faithful customer here but I went in last week to all new staff. I was hesitant as I got my manicure and pedicure as the girls didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. A few days later one of my fingernails is infected and completely swollen. I won't be going back. read more

This was my first time visiting this cute little salon. Service was friendly and efficient. Front desk person promptly greeted me and gave me a time for an appointment (I was a walk in). Very decent prices ($55 for Shellac mani and pedi). I think if you pay cash there is no tax. The place is organized and relatively clean with a relaxing ambience. I would feel more at ease if I saw sanitizing stations; I just see the aestheticians carrying around their tool kit. Service was efficient, I was in and out in an hour. It was also neat that they had Pretty Little Liars playing on the TVs which made the time pass by faster. I'm giving 4 stars because I've had better quality of work done in other salons - there is some bubbling in my mani. They also pumiced the soft areas of my feet in my pedi which made the soles of my feet sensitive for the rest of the day. Overall, a good salon - I will return! read more

Best shellac manicure in the city! For the price ($30 ), quality of service, and cleanliness of the salon, there is no better place. The technician takes her time and is extremely detailed. Definitely book in advance if possible, and give yourself 45 minutes for the visit. read more

This place is awesome for mani-pedis. Then environment is open and relaxing unlike the other manicure places along Bay which are cramped and seem like they are horrible working conditions. Every time I go (been there 3 times) my nails last way longer than I think they would. I have referred 4 people and they all loved it too. Highly recommend! read more

I love this place. After going to Time for Nails and Spa and feeling rushed and unhappy too many times, I tried Bubble Bath (I work in the area). For the same price as TNS, I can get an excellent manicure/pedicure (I haven't tried other services) in a much better atmosphere and with way better results. The salon is like a break away from the city...it's quiet, relaxing and has a great atmosphere - no flourescent lighting, and nice natural decor. Very spa-like. They have TVs playing either Rom-Coms or episodes of TV shows from the 2000s (using close-captioning - no noise!), which I love. The girls running the place are always extremely friendly, and always try to fit you in, even without an appointment. I'm always very happy with the results, both for pedicures and manicures. But really, the best part? I don't ever worry about the sanitation here. I see the nail technicians use freshly cleaned tools everytime, and they don't use jets in the pedicure tubs (which I've heard help spread bacteria around). read more

Their nail services are great but don't go there for hair removal. Tried getting my eyebrows done today and the technician did a horrible job at waxing. She left some hairs unwaxed and some cotton on my face. When I asked her questions, she didn't answer me and seemed like she didn't care. Not very impressed. read more

First Manipedi ever! My feet are so smoothe and pretty now! My nails too :) they stream Netflix so you don't get bored

I have been here three times. First time I got French Shellac: it chipped the day I got it done. Second time (went back because it is close and friends wanted to go): I got "Tainted Love" CND Shellac: it chipped two hours later, this time I called back and made an appointment to get it fixed the next day where I was charged $10 for two nails (ontop of the $46 I paid the day before). The third time I went back because my friends said to give it another shot: I have to say that I was charged $10 more for silver polish on one of my nails. Overall, I have to say I am not satisfied. For sure, I am never going back. I saw them adding something to their shellac bottles, so the quality really isn't there. read more
