Guardians are not charged and not required to wear grippy socks. They have a lot of different attractions such as The Floor is Lava obstacle course, huge ball pit with an interactive play screen, large play structures with multiple slides, basketball court with many hoops of variable heights, a giant ground air trampoline, tube slide, food and drinks for purchase, quiet private pods (for nursing, phone calls, etc) and even a peripheral track for adults to walk around and get exercise. My kiddo thought everything was super fun and he had a total blast. One thing I did notice the entire 2 hours we were there, was zero attendants monitoring the play structures. My kiddo was told by other kiddos that he could not go on the tube slide which definitely wasn't true because he was old enough according to the age requirement. Meanwhile, the same kids were both riding in the same tube, which is not allowed according to the same sign. I was wondering where their parents were. Also, the interactive screen in the ball pit had a lot of technical difficulties. It would not consistently respond to the balls hitting the targets or even a hand hitting the targets. So definitely a few areas of improvement needed, but overall, we had a really great time!

When you select a date, time, and location you end up with the right date and location, but varying times. I booked for 2 people for the 12pm - 4pm session and ended up with one at 12pm and the other @ 4:30pm. = 1 star The staff is friendly and generally helpful in getting issues worked out. That definitely helps, but with all of the online reservation stuff that has to be un-FUBARed, it takes away from the experience and play time. I'm not a web designer, but with most people using technology to purchase goods, services, and experiences, you'd think they'd do some market research to gather feedback on how to build a user-friendly website. We haven't tried any of the other Airsoft locations in Phoenix, but after our three (3) past experiences, I'm ready to move on from VIP Airsoft. We had a groupon so it was affordable for us to go. The clues were fun and some were challenging. Everyone worked well together. The zombie keeps you on guard. The chain gets longer every five minutes so be careful and don't get touched or your out! The nice thing is that even if you do get touched and are out, you can still help with the clues but you have to sit in the corner the rest of the game. There were 9 total ppl in our group. Of the nine, four made it all the way through the game without getting touched by the zombie. We completed the game in 45 minutes. First they tell you the back story, doctor becomes zombie while working in a lab but before she transitions she locks herself in and leaves clues so that she could get out if cured. They tell you the stats, only 34% of groups get out of the room in the hour. You go in and the zombie is on a chain and if she touches you you are out and can participate by talking but not moving around. Room is crowded with the number of people and she has a long chain that keeps getting longer every 5 minutes. We worked our butts off from the minute we got in to when we escaped and yes, we escaped with 15 minutes left. Lots of clues to put together to figure out the combinations. It is fun, challenging and something I highly recommend for a night out. Wish the chain on the zombie stated a little shorter to give you a chance to get some going but guess that is what makes it so hard and why so few get out. They do take a picture at the end of your group with funny signs and it is a good time all around!

I went with my younger kids because they love Star Wars. We were moving along past a few things until we came to a ridiculous task. There are no clues, there's no brain power involved, it is literally plugging wires in a set of 24 options with 6 correct connections. I did the math on this and it's thousands of combinations potentially. This was a dead stop to our attempt. Not worth my $88. If you go with a group of adults be ready to do it a second time to pass it. Update: Joe D from this location has posted a response showing he does not care about his customers, nor does he understand how the rating system on Yelp works. Please read his comments where he clearly misses that I called to discuss this with a staff member, chooses to insult a customer, and how he believes a 3 star is a "negative" review.
