Worst service ever! We were the only people out on their patio and when 4 tables proceeded to arrive they all had their food before us. No refills were offered until we had to ask for them. Then waitress comes and tells us with attitude that it was her fault because she had more parties and forgot to put are order in. Then we had a male manager come Toni's with the worst attitude ever. I understand it was busy but how did 4 other tables with bigger parties than us get their food first. Never again Bubbas please do better! read more

We've given this restaurant a few opportunities to prove us wrong but tonight we were convinced that customer service at this establishment is NOT priority. We often pre-game at this location before our sons high school football games and since we are a large group they've never seemed thrilled to seat us. The vibe is always very annoyed with us wanting to sit together. Last night however was absurd. Large group was there for pregame and one of our friends who arrived later called us from outside to ask where we were seated. My husband walked out to get him and on his way in spotted our server and ordered a beer for our friend. He wasn't at our table but 3 minutes when the manager came up to our friend and said to him that they wouldn't serve him because he appeared drunk. WTH how does someone know that before there's been any interaction??? AND our friend was perfectly sober...he'd just arrived! He was embarrassed and politely left. He didn't stagger in or make any kind of gesture to suggest he was inebriated so the manager walked over with a purpose and we believe they just didn't want one more person in our large group. We called the manager over again after realizing why our friend left but he doubled down and was not the least bit apologetic! We will never step foot in this place again. Food is decent for bar food and the drinks are fine but the service is downright rude and the experience last night felt very much like a bully trying to embarrass someone and push power around. Wife ordered the habanero burger 9of10!! Daughter ordered buffalo chicken sandwich 8of10! Myself ordered sunshine burger wow one of the best burgers I have ever tasted juicy beef patty The bread was great thick bacon strips nothing else to ask for !!! As appetizers we ordered their onion rings 7/10.. Their bubba dip left me licking my fingers like 10min. after finishing them amazing!! I will give them 2 stars for their food. If you go on a Good Night as far as the service. No, you got bartenders, coughing, blowing their nose, and then touching your glasses when they made the drinks. It's disgusting, they don't wash their hands at all. It's horrible, they're on their phones constantly and talking. All the will give their friends a seat before they will give a customer a seat. This is the restaurant off Loop 410. Closest to 151. The drinks are very weak. You can tell. They don't put enough alcohol. I don't. I look how they make them. But when their friends come oh my gosh they overpour. This is a low key, feel good time. They have great drink specials, good food and great service. My server Chris was extremely attentive! They always have drinks specials and kept our drinks full. Been wanting to take my wife. Been there three times but had 1-1.5 hour wait, so we would go somewhere else. Today We finally got in. I ordered a burger it was good. There spicy fries were really good. My wife ordered the lasagna, big mistake!! It looked like it came from a can. It wasn't nearly cut and there was a lot of cheese/meat sauce that tasted like Chef-boy- RD. Need less to say, we were very disappointed. Sports bar meets excellent food with reasonable prices. What more can you ask for? Our waiter Rudy was excellent and all the food and drink was as well. They have enough TV screens to satisfy any sports addict even when everything is re-runs. Music mix is good but the fresh food stands out. Our family goto chain for pizza and burgers. We like to go early and beat the rush which is a big deal at this place. Service is pretty good, value - especially during happy hour, lunch specials, and special days of the week, are excellent. Our favorite is pizza night on Tuesday, under Ten for a 12" pizza and just an extra couple bucks for a side salad. I've had their wings, boneless wings, and burgers - all on par with what you'd expect for fast food. The burgers are a cut above say five guys if you like bacon as they grind bacon in with the beef, a genius idea in my opinion. We will be back. read more

We ate dinner here on Tuesday, August 16th to celebrate my kiddo finishing her first day back to school. First and foremost, our service was the best I have had in a very long time. Our server, Karley, was attentive, friendly, on point, and we can tell she is hardworking and cares about her job and the patrons. Bubba's is lucky to have her and so we want to really compliment her. It's not easy finding great employees in this climate. We like to dine out a couple of days a week and there is a huge drop off in service in particular in the attitude department so this visit was refreshing. Food was excellent. We frequent Bubba's 33 but tend to lean towards the Alamo Ranch location due to proximity. Today we had the BEST service from Jacob. He was very attentive and consistently checking on us. It was a nice change after we left Cheddars due to not being served after waiting 10 minutes at our table. I said "let's just go to Bubba's" and I'm so glad we did. Thank you Jacob for turning our sour lunch experience into a great one. Great job management for training your severs well! read more

Such a variety on the menu! Salmon was flavorful! Other diners had a burger and chicken, both said that their food was very good. I had a traditional margarita which was just okay. I recommend as it has such a wide variety of options on the menu. read more

This place is part of the Texas Roadhouse chain, so we decided to try it. I was excited they had chili, hoping it was like the Roadhouse. IT IS NOT! The chili here has beans (not right) and tastes like it has cheap hot dog meat in it. The pizzas are good, but only because of the crust. The pizza crust, meaning the part without toppings, is amazing! The part with sauce, cheese, and toppings is soggy and limp. The pepperoni is super greasy and tastes like cheap pepperoni from the pizza in the frozen food section at the grocery store. The cheese and sauce are okay. The hamburgers with the bacon mixed into the meat are above average, but not worth the cost. The regular burgers are bland and taste like there is cheap hot dog meat mixed in. The fries and tater tots are both fresh and crispy and have a good seasoning. The chicken strips are also not fresh like the Roadhouse, they are frozen. They are okay. The decor is pretty cool. They have benches when you first walk in that are part of a car. The music is pretty loud and it is hard to talk. Monday is burger night and you can get a plain burger (no bacon mixed in) with 3 toppings and fries for $5.99. Tuesday is pizza day. You can get a 1 topping personal pizza for $9.99. So far have tried the fried shrimp, burgers, wings, pizza, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, margaritas and it's all soooo good. You really can't go wrong with ordering anything from there. You can sign up for their emails to receive great deals. Today for National pepperoni pizza day they sent me an offer for a free half order of onion rings when purchasing a 14" pizza. Burgers are big and filling. But it's a tad greasy. I really like the spicy habanero burger because it has this extra part that's similar to a jalapeño popper. There's also a sauce for the fries that taste almost like watered down BBQ. I'm a bit confused on the drink prices for michelada because its price changed in two weeks. Which isn't too big of a deal. Service is wonderful. Attentive and nice. Food takes awhile to come out tho. Probably because the place is huge with two bar rooms and another dining area. Have heard about this place. Wasn't prepared for what was in store... started out with apps and drinks. The peach margarita on the rocks is de-lish!!! Now on to the burgers. Holy maca-roly!!! They were like heaven in a basket! You get so many choices! All are sooooooooo fresh! Then you choose between tots, French fries, sweet potato fries, or onion rings. We tried them all. Luckily I wasn't upset because I was hungry and very impressed with the atmosphere and setting that I was psyched to try just about anything on the menu. I chose the "Shotgun Shrimp Poboy w/fire fries (cajun spice)?". It was delish, we also ordered the hot traditional wings and they were not at the level of spice we expected, it was more mild than hot. Either way the food was great and the service was excellent. Service is something else..... it's a Saturday evening and this place is packed yet there's no sense of urgency. Esp from the manager on the floor. There's a manager here doing tables touches (talking to every table) but has skipped mine. I see my bar drink sitting on the bar well yet she (the manager on duty), instead of grabbing my drink (first come, first serve) she is placing her hands on the bar straws playing with them while waiting on other drinks for tables she has talked to. There's a server snacking on food while waiting for a drink... wipes his hands and grabs patrons drinks... WHERES THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT?!? Went here after volunteering at the food bank for lunch with co-workers. Had the lunch special of building a burger with 2 toppings. Had the jalapenos along with the fries spice. I don't prefer to write reviews without having the entire experience but this needs to be mentioned. It was quite busy because there was a Spurs game on. When asked about the wait, the hostess noted, "We don't really know how long the wait is because the Spurs game just started and they might sit for the whole game, half game, I don't know." She then asked if I wanted to leave my name. Sorry hostess, I'm not waiting indefinitely. It was our first time so we asked the waitress for suggestions. She was very helpful and honest about the selections. A++ for that. We order an appetizer which was the fiesta dip. Its was good and maybe might get again but i was all disappointed that the guacamole was left out. I didnt notice until I saw someone elses pass by me. I made sure to check the menu to see maybe they asked for it but NOPE it was there plain and simple. I guess wait staff are in such a rush they aren't double checking their orders.
