Came here for me and my fiancé's anniversary and as a recovering alcoholic ordered a mocktail. My fiancé ordered a drink and a second after. The mocktails here are disgusting and put aside. Server came shortly after to interrupt our conversation and ask if I was drinking my fiancés drinks and to see some ID. WORST RUDEST service i have ever had on top of being rushed to order and server standing next to our table having a loud conversation with another table for 15 minutes. Just very disappointing. Dined early on a weekend, moderately busy. Shotgun shrimp much to cold and salty. Too many fried onions. Large steak raw and undercooked. No Au Ju. Talked to manager. Sent back but overcooked in the end, covered in a sooty black grill seasoning. Unpalatable. Had to ask for my salad several times, but it came significantly missing content but loaded with fried onions. The Ranch dressing taste was off, I pushed it away. Cost of meal was not worth it. Music so loud in the garage that I had to shout to my server to order. Manager came to adjust the meal, but I felt ill and left, having no experience with frustration and disgust at such a nice place. What happened? I will say it was very crowded after a while. After a long road trip, stopped for dinner.. Bathroom floors were wet with mysterious liquid, service was good and food tasted great. They keep changing the menu. Specifically this time was the shotgun shrimp. Instead of covering the shrimp in sauce as it has been for 10+ years now you want to drizzle them because other stores have had a lot of complaints. Guess what we in Colorado springs actually like flavor. This isn't the first time you have changed the menu items or their preparation. If It wasn't for your wonderful bar staff such as Kristin, Mikayla, Gentry, Jess and a few of your servers I probably wouldnt come all the way across town to bother with this place. We've always enjoyed Bubbas, but today's visit was a disappointment. Service was quite poor. They seated us and we waited about 10 minutes and never saw a server. I had to go back up to the hostess and ask -- the waitress hadn't seen us there. Then, we ordered wings as an appetizer and ordered food. The food came out, but the wings didn't. The waitress stopped by and asked, "How is everything?" without realizing that no one had ever brought the wings. So, the wings came out AFTER the food and didn't have much sauce. The other thing was that they've switched to watching (and playing out) a different music video channel. Instead of VH-1 (or whatever they used to have), which had a good mix, they were playing some modern pop station that had a bunch of annoying music, and they were playing it fairly loud. I waited several months to order the Monte Cristo sandwich again after the previous 3 were pretty much inedible. This one was much better tasting and cooked way better, sort of. The sandwich was delivered "good side up". The picture shows that most of the bread was removed from part of the sandwich. The cook obviously does not have any pride in the food that they put out. Was looking for a causal dinner where we each would be happy with our choices. Walked in a was greeted by the staff, immediately taken to our seats and our server Chris was right there after we were seated. Since it was our first experience he ran down the menu, drinks, and gave his suggestions. He took our drink orders, and returned not 5 minutes later with our drinks. Took our appetizers orders and dinner orders and we waited. About 10 minutes went by and our appetizers ( fried pickles and garlic knots) were brought out, both appetizers were delicious. My daughter ordered the shrimp and fries, my other daughter ordered the 12oz ribeye with sides, and I had the sunrise burger. The food was delicious, and everything was well seasoned and generous portions were given. I would recommend them and will try them again. read more

Bubbas is always a nice go to spot. If you are looking to hang out with friends or the family. To watch a game or just be social. The food is good and the service is just as good. On a weekend you will probably have a wait time so I suggest going on the app/site and getting on the wait list. I will take Bubbas over Applebees or Chilis ANY DAY! Not even in the same league. I order chicken wings and I had to ask for them to be taken off the check. They were weirdly shaped and sized as well as chewy when they shouldn't be. The server was nice and took them off and offered me something else. It's not a bad place to go for drinks and sides with friends but the food really isn't that good and it's loud. read more

After having four different mixed alcoholic drinks with absolutely no alcohol in it, I asked to see a manager because of how ridiculous the $16 price tag was for no alcohol was. When the manager finally did come over, he told me that they measured all the drinks by jigers and that they were all accurate. When I showed him the color difference between 2 mango margaritas he proceeded to tell me that he didn't know why the color was different but that he couldn't do anything unless I exchange the drink for another watered down drink. After explaining the situation again, he gave the same answer with no explanation of why the color of the same margarita was different. Our server came once to take our order and that was the last time we saw her until the very last bite (literally). She never came by to see if the food was fine. Ate here tonight after their 10pm hour & had some amazingly priced food! The boneless wings on weekends after 10pm are only $5 & everything else is about the same price. Atmosphere is great as there are numerous TVs around the bar room & also in the regular seating area. Music and ambiance in general is great! Food check out their onion rings, pizza and salads. I've been there so many times and always great service and food. The only drawback is the high noise at times you can't hold a conversation with your dinning party. Came here for the first time after trying to get into Texas Roadhouse on a Saturday afternoon only to realize they had an hour+ wait time. We expected Bubba's to have a similar wait due to how many cars were in the parking lot, but much to our surprise we were seated immediately! Our server informed us that they were operated by the same owner of Texas Roadhouse but as someone who has frequented their sister restaurant and first time customer of Bubba's - THIS PLACE IS SO MUCH BETTER! We didn't have these in the South, which is actually tragic now that I've experienced how great it is. Service is fast, efficient, and friendly. They have about a million TVs on the walls showing all the local sports/news. This is a place I, as a woman, would feel super comfortable going by myself and sitting at the bar. Vibes are great. As for the food - we were pleasantly surprised! My boyfriend and I started with the loaded nachos which could easily fill more than just two people up before the entree even arrives (happened to us!) We both got their burgers that have the bacon ground into the patty, and they were juicy/flavorful. They also make their drinks quite strong which is great for the price. We loved it here! After our first time, we went back two days later and our server was 6/10. We only got two appetizers (the nachos, of course) and the spinach queso, which I personally wouldn't order again. The reason I wasn't impressed with this server is due to us being there for an hour and never receiving a single drink refill. We went here while visiting in Oklahoma City, it was recommended by an acquaintance. The food was so amazing we ended up eating here every night of our stay. Wish they had one in Fenton MO where we live. Everything we had was terrific and the portions were big, we couldn't even finish most night. I've never had a bad time at Bubba's 33. Great food and drinks! Friendly waitstaff and hostesses. There are tons of TVs to watch your team play. And always a good crowd. This last time going, my son and I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. The place was jam-packed with football fans cheering for a myriad of teams. The hostess was able to squeeze us into a spot at the bar. It was definitely close quarters, but everyone was happy to be there, and spirits were high. But hey! I have been here for lunch twice. Each time, the service was really good. They are fast to take your order. Food seems a bit slow to come out, so go here when you have the time. It has a very relaxed environment. I like the margaritas that are small because they are only $4.50. I think they are a bargain. They have numerous flavors. I got the watermelon. I am writing this review as we are ready to try the mud pie. We're new to The Springs. We were looking for a place To have lunch, seems like everyone we talk to mentioned bubbas so we thought we'd give it a try plus the fact that's not too far from our home! We ordered Onion Rings, a mushroom burger and a bacon-cheeseburger. All I can say is wow! The food is excellent! The rings, fries and tater tots are seasoned to perfection, great tasting burgers! Ok.. we've been here several times and there always seems to be an issue e.g. I always get burgers, I like mine medium. Every single time I order a burger here I ask for it to be cooked medium and every time its well done. My wife always asks for here's medium well and she usually gets it rare. We always end up trading and no one is happy. I don't like sending food back so we just deal with it. We go back because we enjoy the vibes and my kids love it. We went a few weeks back and this time my wife ordered a chicken salad. She got really sick, vomiting and an upset stomach. On top of that, they forgot about out apps and then brought them out after our entrees had been served and... screwed up the app order. When I asked the girl why they did and if she can speak to her manager to possibly get a discount she literally had a panic attack and just flat out refused. I insited, she agreed, but looked like she was about to have a heart attack. I felt bad so I followed after her and told her to forget about it.... we went back... I know im an idiot but there aren't many options like them in the springs, im a forgiving guy and thought we'd give them another chance. We were there for mothers day. Noah was our server and he was thee best server we've ever had there, the dude was on point and made us feel at home. We all ordered out food, it was actually prepared nicely and we were happy, we thought, hey, they've redeemed themselves. We went home and about midnight and two of my kids who happend to share a nacho appetizer and both ordered Mac n cheese woke up screaming and vomiting. They emptied their stomachs all over the house and were in extreme pain, and scared. My wife, on mother's day, spent all night cleaning up their mess. I know it was bubbas... it was the 2nd time this happened and we didnt eat anything that would've triggered that earlier. I called, pissed off at midnight expecting to leave a message but a manager answered. I told what had happend and he apologized and offered a coupon or credit for our next meal. I told him we wouldn't be going back and that I wanted a refund. He says they can't do refunds... after speaking to him for a bit he finally agreed. He didnt seem very concerned with the situation and when we hung up he tells me to have a nice day. Smh... that was the last straw and we wont be back. Should've learned my lesson after the first couple of times. I've seen their employees in the restroom walk out without washing their hands. I assumed, maybe theyre washing them in the kitchen... lol theyre not, its unsanitary and dangerous. Beware!!! My kids took two days off of school and my house still smells. read more
