I just had one of the best restaurant experiences in my life... at this place! I generally never review a place after the first time I visit because I like for the place to get a second (sometimes third) opportunity to prove a track record. I am a sucker for a place that has employees with positive attitudes that greet, serve and interact with the customers as if they were owners of the business. Shout out to Azlyn and the rest of the crew that helped me this evening. The food amplified my awesome experience. I ordered the carnitas quesadillia and it was incredible! The perfectly seasoned meat, married with the perfect amount of cheese, and wrapped in a crispy shell delivered one of, if not the BEST one i ever ate!!! and i eat alot of them... I ordered a side of chips and salsa solely because it was a recommendation by the cashier. I am glad i did because the flavor of the salsa also got me excited. I hate cilantro with a passion, but I still loved the salsa. For dessert, I was given a "love chips" (see my pic). Hot semi-soft tortillas with powdered sugar and a caramel/raspberry sauce ... heaven!! Will be back and definitely recommend you try this place if in the area. read more

I typically always enjoy the food here, but I do wish they would bring back the nacho cheese sauce, I like it a lot more than the queso! Beware the drive thru is only open until 8:00pm, despite the restaurant itself being open until 9:00pm. I sometimes work late and would wonder why some evenings the automated message saying they were close would play when I pulled up to the drive thru, despite there clearly being people inside. One night I must've pulled in right at 8:00 and the guy working explained to me that the drive thru does close at 8:00, but he would still take my order for me. It was very nice of him to do that for me, and at least now I know for the future. read more

I've eaten in Point, Neptune, Eatontown, the food courts in Neptune, The Stone Pony, and many other locations. They are ALL excellent, but the Bayville location and crew are my favorite! This is my first time coming to the Bayville location. Staff is friendly but needs serious training in leadership skills and organization. The line at the drive thro was very long and not moving so I backed out and went inside after seeing people park go in and come out w food I figured maybe a problem at the window. I go inside everything was fine placed my order, the guy in front of me is waiting for someone to help the trainee on the register that didn't know what to do because the receipt didn't cut the paper so the guy needed help from someone to come up and rip the receipt for him... finally my turn to pay. A woman two people behind me in line comes up and says she's here for a pick up. So the girl just decided to take her real quick, except it wasn't real quick, the woman wanted her food checked then wanted extra sauces for the side, all the while I'm just standing here waiting to pay, I was alittle pissed I was just pushed to the side to begin with, but whatever no biggie, finally she leaves and the girl turns to the guy behind me and grabs his food and asks him "is that all for today?" This is when my jersey attitude came out I pointed to my food and said "yeah, I'm next... my food is right there" she was quick to apologize and said she was sorry, I don't know if I was temporary invisible or what was going on and I'm not mad honestly but maybe if everyone knew their job roles an their was some organization among the team I think things would flow more smoothly for them it looked like a bunch of people waiting for someone to tell them what to do instead of taking their roles, two do window, one do cashier, two do front line, ya know? All the meat entrees were hard on the top and definitely old, they had four people behind the counter and they took ten minutes to make one burrito and nachos because each employee only can do the meat/ dressings or veggies....staff was young, unhelpful and slow besides the girl behind the register, it was also not clean at all behind the food area. My wife also found a very short HAIR in her nachos...absolutely disgusting. I highly recommend the Ocean county Health Dept to do a inspection immediately!!! read more

Really excellent Mexican. Very surprised to find this in the Quick Bites food court in Atlantic City. Had a burrito bowl that was very good. The manager and staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. They share their knowledge with the tourists that come through the Resorts hotel and casino. Just had lunch here on a Sunday. I've been to their Point Pleasant location so I though I would check this one out too. Pros - dining area was clean, staff was friendly, good portion size to price ratio Cons - 1. So they have this open display area where you pick your toppings that is on the other side of the counter where you order. I like this concept because you can tell what looks good and fresh. Unfortunately not much looked very appetizing. Maybe if they could cover the products when it's slow to minimize the stuff drying out, browning, etc. 2. They had what appeared to be a trainee working the grill. If he was not a trainee, then he was definitely poorly trained. I went for the hibachi steak and shrimp - steak was completely over cooked and entirely inedible. In case you're wondering, they did not ask how I prefer my steak(rare, med, wd, etc.) The shrimp were just a touch undercooked. Everything else inside the burrito was ok. 3. I also had a side of rice and beans. Big portion size, but tasted fresh out of a can. In summary - if you want a lot of food for your dollar and don't really care about taste then this place is for you. This place has a lot of potential, but it seems like only the bare minimum is scratch made. The majority of products must be purchased ready to just heat and serve. When I'm spending $22 on lunch for just me, I expect some flavor in my food. read more

I don't think this BubbaKoos has ever made my order right. We just ordered from them again tonight. I really didn't want to because they always messed it up but my mom wanted it. And everything about my order was wrong again. Like do you not train your workers to read the tickets it's not hard to look at a ticket and see exactly what someone ordered. I am the general manager of a restaurant and if this kept occurring and I kept getting bad reviews like this BubbaKoos does all the time I would at least speak to my employees or get a change in staff. The employees also roll their eyes anytime they have to make something on the grill they've been rude to my friends that I know that go there and when my boyfriend went to go pick up our food they had an attitude that we wanted steak. I get that you might hate working in a fast food business but this does not help your company. read more

The delivery girl was so nasty, it was hard to tell if it was just the transport or the food. She wrote two nasty text messages- the first saying she was going to have to wait and she couldn't understand why I didn't choose food next to my house. The second, was much worse; she informed me what she made, her time, and the number of miles on her car. I am new to the area, I have no idea what is close or far away from Bayville. Think, local Chipotle with more options. I've been here a few times and I love that they do things a bit different from the national competitor. They have fresh ingredients and will put in whatever you like, but they also do things like fish tacos, srirachra pork, A-1 steak and such. I usually go with the srirachra pork burrito. The burrito is stuffed to the gills, however you want it. The pork is nice tender and juicy. The srirachra gives it that awesome kick you know you need. I will almost always stop here when I'm craving an amazing lunch. read more

Simply put this place is awesome!!! Today was my first time in and I was not disappointed. The girl behind the counter who's name I didn't catch (glasses and very cute) had asked what I wanted and I told her I didn't know it's my first time. I went off of her suggestion and got the burrito and it was delicious and custom made to my liking. When it was done and all wrapped up I couldn't believe the size of this thing it looked like a silver football. When handed my burrito I was given specific instructions on how to eat it and good thing cause I woulda been a mess other wise. The food was fresh and the quality was great. No doubt I will be back. My only issue is how am I supposed to get through the rest of my work day after eating that enormous food football of greatness and still be productive. Great service and great food!!! I placed my order online, yet I had to wait 15 minutes in the drive through while they prepared the order of the car ahead. I couldn't even back up through the serpentine drive through. When I suggested to the girl at the window that perhaps people could park in the space 10 feet away while their order was being cooked, she said "But I had to write it down!" When I repeated my suggestion, she said "but I had to write it down and then we had to cook it!" She was just clueless. By the time I got the tacos home they were stone cold, and dry as dust because they forgot the salsa. I would prefer Chipotle or even Taco Bell to this place any day. read more

I've been eating at Bubbakoos for several years. Specifically the locations in Eatentown, Howell, Manasquan, Asbury. Was always a fan of their menu, the customer service, etc. I just moved to Barnegat and the Bayville location is the closest. Mind you, it's a 30 minute drive. Just two days ago, I went through the drive-thru for a burrito. Halfway into my burrito, I noticed half the toppings I ordered were missing along with the meat.. Today, I went for another drive and ordered through the drive-thru. I paid $14 for a single burrito and large drink. No chips, no dip. My burrito had the toppings I requested, but the ground beef was burnt and hard. Tasted stale. Not cooked fresh. Then I noticed the establishment was empty and slow traffic. The burrito was falling apart as soon as I lifted the top of the tin foil. Making a mess only to realize no napkins were in the bag. With this second visit, I'm beyond disappointed with this Bubbakoos. Everything from missing toppings, stale meat, overpriced, and sloppy customer service. read more

This location has gone down hill significantly in the past few years. I ordered again today only because my other favorite place in beachwood was closed for the day. Every time I've ordered off the app either the food doesn't come, it's completely wrong, or has been sitting for some time. I didn't even get my order today after two hrs & when ever you call no one answers. I finally drove down and let the phone ring it's a ten minute ride. The girl finally answers. Long story short I get another burrito it's still wrong thank god I watched because she wasn't putting the protein in. Then when I got home realized she didn't put the shrimp in. We hosted an engagement party for my daughter this weekend. We ordered the food from Bubbakoos in Bayville. The staff at the restaurant was excellent, very helpful and positive. Everyone at the party raved about how great the food was! The portions were very generous and the price extremely reasonable. We were able to get everything included and even buy the chafing dishes and sterno there so we only had one place to stop. We ordered The Intimate Get Together, a half pan of burritos, and a half pan of chicken tenders. It came with plenty of condiments and we did not run out of anything for our guests to make tacos and sauces for the burritos. It also came with two huge pans of chips which were also enough for the 35 people who attended.The bill for everything was under $450 and it allowed us to enjoy the party without cooking and made for easy cleanup. I would recommend Bubbakoos Burritos in Bayville for any gathering you're having and will definitely utilize them get again. read more

Staff are so beyond friendly at this establishment . They close at 9 and our one of the only places I have found in this area that will actually answer the phone at 9 and take your order happily. I have found most places will not even answer calls 15 before closing and some even close up early! NEVER this place . I have seen them taking orders well after 9 and they are always happy . The food is always excellent and very fresh. I always get the taco salad with chicken or the nachos . Portions are very abundant . The kitchen is also very clean and everyone always has gloves on which I noticed when I have come to pick up take out. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed . read more

Great local Bayville spot with awesome vegetarian options to get your Mexican food fix. In my opinion, they are way better than the bigger chains (Chipotle, Moes, etc). The staff is nice and veggies and food is fresh. Great options for meat eaters, vegetarian, and vegan diets. Only critique is that they could be a little cleaner to avoid cross contamination and also should change their gloves and clean utensils upon knowing someone doesn't eat meat. I asked and they assisted but it would be nice for them to do it on their own. Overall great place for Mexican food!! read more

My husband is obsessed with the burritos but everything else is terrible. Nachos were bland. The "fish tacos" were basically inedible. You watch them dig their hands into a frozen bag of fried fish patties, throw it into the fryer, and pop it on your plate. It was beyond nasty. Their drive thru was out of order for wellll over a month..I can't even count how many times I've pulled up and had to leave because the drive thru still wasn't fixed and I couldn't get out of the car with my two sleeping babies.. I've been able to make it inside twice during all of this time and the one time they didn't have any salsa and then the second time I went they were only taking cash only. Of course this was on a day where I didn't have cash on me but not only that it happened on a day where I specifically tried to order ahead online (this is when I found out they had removed that option) and when I drove out of my way to go there thinking maybe their drive thru would finalllllly be working I saw that they had permanently changed it to be for delivery services only..so I had to go inside and then that's when I saw the cash only sign. I was so over it I got McDonalds, they never fail. I will never go to this location again..but I should say that if you can manage to actually get the food it's pretty good & the workers are pleasant. You pick your ingredients: beef, chicken, pork, pinto or black beans, seasoned rice, Pico de gallo, hot or medium salsa, sour cream, guacamole, jalepenos, corn or mango salsa, cheese, lettuce, etc. Even vegetarian options. All fresh and tasty. Each dish made to order in front of you. Several hot sauces to choose from. The restaurant is clean and bright.
