Good service, good tacos, nice clean place with a good amount of seating. Birria on the weekends.

Ordered through door dash and the food was great. The ground beef tacos were seasoned to perfection. Such great flavors. So happy they have expanded and opened more locations.

We came in at 9:30-30 mins before closing, we know, we're sorry, but we were so hungry and wanted GOOD Mexican food. I had ordered from the TR location a few times with my co workers and knew they had a pretty good steak quesadilla. My bf was skeptical, but I assured him it would be a safe bet, or at least decent. Not only was the customer service great, nice and helpful but we didn't wait very long either. The food traveled well on our 15 minute ride home & when we dug in it was still PIPING HOT, nachos STILL CRUNCHY, favor EVERYWHERE. We got the steak quesadilla , carnitas tacos Mexican style , nachos w chipotle chicken, and the fajita quesadilla all great options simple-but seasoned. You have for sure secured some regulars. Thank you, it was great!!

My god this place slaps so hard. Munchies tacos are so good and the baria tacos they have on weekends only are 10/10. Get here!

Had the Tijuana tacos with steak. Very good food and I think might prefer over surf taco and tacoholics.

Loved every aspect of it!!!…read more Lots of room, so it doesn't feel crowded, even though it can fit quite a lot of people between the multiple dining rooms. The private party room at the entrance is eye catching. Very friendly server and wait staff. Helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. Margaritas are a must. I personally recommend the jalapeño cucumber marg with a tajin rim. The flautas as an appetizer were perfect. Lightly fried and full of flavor, especially with the avocado ranch/crema dipping sauce. The shrimp ajillo (garlic) entree was right up my alley. Personally, I could've done with a bit of spice kick, but it was good all the same, and especially the cilantro lime rice that came with it. I'll definitely return, and probably with more friends!!!

For me, he ordered a chicken fajita's with grilled chicken since I'm not a fan of blackened chicken. I was so excited to get my fajita. Whenever I have Mexican food, I usually order Fajita's. I have been on the hunt the past 6 months to find the best place for fajita's. I have been to many places in Brick, Toms River & Lakewood. Most of them have been a disappointment. While I don't want to say Sofia's was a disappointment, I will say I was not impressed. My client loved his fajita. He was very happy with his meal and will most likely order again. My food on the other hand had very little flavor. Like I said, my client ordered the chicken grilled because I'm not a fan of blackened. The onions and peppers were horrible. They were barely cooked so they were crispy. I understand not wanting them to cook so they get mushy but they shouldn't be raw which is basically what I received. The flavor was minimal as well. It wasn't terrible but it was only slight. Not flavorful like you would expect a fajita to taste. I think Sofia's is a bit overpriced for what you receive. My meal was nothing to write home about. Needless to say, I'm still on the hunt for a good fajita. I do want to point out that the 2 girls in the front were awesome. They greeted me with a smile and were very helpful. They were also grateful for the small tip I gave them. I tipped them what I had in my wallet. Sofia's is just ok. Nothing extraordinary. Nothing stood out other than the 2 employee's that I interacted with that day. While I am not going to discourage anybody from trying Sofia's, I'm not going to encourage either. Maybe the cook had a bad day. Maybe they were busy and I didn't realize it. (It was only 4:30 in the afternoon when I picked our meal up so it was still early). I'm not sure I'll be going back for a 2nd try at Sofia's. Once I'm disappointed, I tend to not do it again but you never know. My client paid for my meal and I'm grateful for that. My client and his neighbor enjoyed their meals so I'm grateful for that as well.

The woman who owns it is the cook and is a very nice lady. I wanted enchiladas which wasn't on the menu, but she said "I'll make them for you anyway." Also the portion sizes are extremely big here probably almost triple of other restaurants, so you get a lot for your dollar, which is awesome in today's economy. Everyone go try them out, you won't be sorry!

The first was a chorizo quesadilla. It came deconstructed, basically a plain quesadilla (meat and cheese), I got it with cheddar and Jack cheese, and the lettuce, tomato and a bit of cheese on the side. It came with sour cream and guacamole on the side as well. It was tasty, for sure, but it was also a whole tortilla, not cut. The meat was also super greasy. I also got a carne asada burrito. That too had lettuce and tomato on the side, how I would put that in, I'm not sure. It was just meat, cheese and rice. The sour cream came in handy as it was a bit dry. The flavor was there, but the meat was fatty and had gristle. Not great in a burrito. Overall, it was tasty, but average. Hoping if we get it again it'll be better.
