Beef Pad Thai

My fiancé Kyle and I eat here. The service is amazing and our server is very friendly. The foods is delicious. I would definitely recommend to eat here

Pad Thai

This pad Thai was wildly mediocre. The noodles were quite thin and the overall taste was bland. I won't be going here again but they did provide quick and easy service.

Rama Noodles, Pad Thai & Tom Kha Soup

First time visit was great! Good staff and food was very good. Had the Tom Ka Soup, Phad Thai & Rama Noodles. Would recommend all three!

Went to this restaurant over the weekend because someone had recommended it. The food was great and the service was even better. We felt like royalty! The hostess brought me a free Thai tea to help when she knew that my food was too spicy, literally the sweetest. Cannot wait to go back to this place and try more items!

Only giving a second star because my sister liked her food. I ordered a Pad See Ew with veggies and no egg. The noodles were very over cooked to the point that they were split into small pieces. The texture was very mushy and gross. The consistency of my sauce was extremely watery and the bits of noodle were just swimming in this watery "sauce". It wasn't very flavorful and too salty. The vegetables weren't over cooked which was a nice surprise. My sister got the pad thai with prawns which she was surprised to see was red in color and she liked it but her noodles were over cooked as well.

Scallop Wontons

My brother and sister had eaten from here a few times and really liked it, and my sister is hard to please. So, when my brother and sister offered to order some food from here for me, I happily accepted. I ordered the Scallop Wontons, since I've never seen this on any other menu before, and the Kee Mao Chow Mein. My brother and sister got the Calamari, Garlic Beef, and Red Burry Fried Rice. Everything we had was tasty, and flavorful. Would like to try more things from here.

Pad Thai, Tom Kha Soup, and Thai Ice Tea

Used door dash delivery and it took over a hour for it to arrive. They refunded $10 bucks for the mishap. Food was quite delicious, ordered Thai iced tea, Pad Thai, and Tom Kha soup and ate it in the hotel. Would like to order from them again but next time inside the restaurant.

Overcooked Pad Thai noodles.

The quality of the food has gone down drastically. The noodles in my Pad Thai we're not traditional pad, Thai noodles and were over cooked so that every time I tried to get a bite of noodles it was all little pieces. The Orange chicken was made with processed chicken nuggets.

Pad Tai

Tried this place for the first time as we are trying to find a new Thai place in Tacoma since moving from Renton. It's been hit or miss and this one is another miss. Ordered a staple classic Pad Thai w/chicken. It did not taste good and for one, never seen this type of color before and it does not look anything like the pictures. It was very reddish and very watery, like a soup. Could only get a couple bites in and that's it. Placed an order with another place right away. Girlfriend did get the chicken Rama which she liked and said was good. Also ordered the fried tofu app which was good, but for me, if you can't make a good pad Thai, won't be coming back.

I ordered via Uber eats and was surprised to see Thai food open at 9:30 pm. I am so happy I was able to get my late night pad Thai fix. Food came quickly and was exactly as ordered. Chicken pad Thai- 2 stars and the scallop wantons. Tons of food, still hot and super delish. This is my first experience with BT Thai and I'm looking forward to visiting the restaurant in person in the future!!

Soggy goopy bright pink Pad Thai.
Morgan D.

Bright pink Pad Thai with soggy overcooked noodles. It was sitting in a pool of thick goopy sauce. It honestly grossed me out so much, I couldn't eat more than two small bites. I called the restaurant and described what I received and was told that is their recipe. I have never had or seen pad Thai like this. Soggy goopy bright pink Pad Thai.

I'd just gotten off the train from eating and drinking my way around Portland and you couldn't welcome me back with a few more choices for a good meal? But since I ended up at Thai Pepper, all was forgiven. Hands down, their pumpkin curry is on my list of all time top ten favorite foods. It's spicy, it's sweet, it's nutty, it's soothing -- it has pumpkin. The curry sauce is so good I poured what I had leftover on my mashed potatoes the next day. Everything about Thai Pepper rocks. The service is great and so is the vibe. The location is a little out of the way though, which may be why I forget to go more often-- even though there's usually good parking and it's right around the corner from the salon that cuts my hair! Love this place. Love it love it love it.

The portion sizes were large, especially for the price point, which made it feel like good value. The restaurant itself is small so never unnecessarily crowded. Service could've been better, we had to request serval times for tableware and water refills. My only issue is that the spice level was underwhelming. I ordered a spice level 4, and even though I know spice is subjective, I'm not someone who can handle super spicy food even I was still wishing for more heat. If you're someone who enjoys bold spice, you may be disappointed. The standout dish of the meal was definitely Red Curry Duck. It was rich, flavorful, and easily the best thing we ordered.

There is so much to look at, rich details everywhere, and while a few spots could use a quick Swiffer pass, it was absolutely not dirty in any way. It felt warm, unique, and full of character. When we mentioned it was our first visit, he shared wonderful history about the owner and the decor, and even explained how the atmosphere changes between day and night shifts. From the moment we walked in, no one was warm, no one even welcomed us, we had a reservation and still waited to be seated. The host was not friendly. Our waiter didn't even introduce themselves and it took us 30 minutes to get water after asking. Our drinks came out all at separate times, I had to remind him for my mom's prebiotic soda, which he served in the can, no glass and didn't open it. Our meals all came out at different times as well. Overall no one had a sense of urgency, no one seemed to prioritize a good dining experience, and it was so disappointing because again the food and ambience was there. Overall, Thai cuisine is a great choice. Environment: I arrived around 2:00 PM, and since it was past the lunch rush, there weren't many customers. The environment was very clean, with bright and spotless windows. Taste: I ordered the chicken with rice and added a portion of green curry beef. The chicken with rice was the restaurant's recommendation. It was impressive at first bite and quite enjoyable, but it became saltier as I ate toward the end. The portion of chicken was modest, so overall, it's still recommended. As for the green curry beef, it wasn't very rich, and the beef was scarce. I had expected chunks of beef, but what came out was sliced beef coated in starch. The texture wasn't great, so I wouldn't particularly recommend it. Service: The service was good.
