I feel I was overcharged and scammed by the owner (male). On March 11, 2026, I dropped off six garments to be hemmed only (2 jumpsuits and 4 slacks). The owner asked me if I wanted the brand new garments "pressed." Before I could respond, he said "I press for you, no worries," while flailing one arm. I assumed he was gonna do it as a courtesy. He told me the items would be ready on March 30th and I would receive a phone call letting me know. No phone call was received. On April 2nd I called to inquire about my garments. I was told they were ready. Upon arrival, I was shocked (to say the least) when the owner told me my total was $197.00! For six hemmed garments. No other alterations. This man told me the hems cost $26/item, plus "pressing" costs $16.00/item. He OFFERED to press the garments. I didn't ask! After I complained, he gave me a 10% "discount." I paid $177.00 to have six items hemmed ONLY (plus the cost to press added). Three of the four pairs of slacks were TOO LONG. They were not hemmed properly, and two pair didn't even appear to have been hemmed at all. I AM UPSET, to say the least. My husband returned this morning, April 3rd, to confront him about the exorbitant pricing and was only offered a $16.00 refund for "pressing." I'm still out-of-pocket $152.00...for hemming six pants (unlined pants). Average pricing in Jacksonville, FL for hemming, per Google: In Jacksonville, FL, the average cost to hem pants typically ranges from $10-$16 for simple hems for casual pants or jeans, while more complex work, such as lined trousers, cuffed pants, or maintaining the original jean hem, often costs closer to $25-$30+.

The dress pockets were balled up and the dress wasn't pressed well, the pants weren't pressed well either . My husband was disappointed in his shirt. I've never sent something to the cleaners and have to iron it once I got it home. I will never use this Cleaners again.

Okay. So I waited to get my clothing back from them before reviewing. I noticed them because I…read moreremembered seeing them when we visit Miya Sushi which is right next door. It's in a convenient spot that I pass daily. I dropped off some long overdue dry cleaning Monday morning. Men's dress shirts and slacks. Some of which were from my sister, who has a puppy that sheds. The lady greeted me right away and added my info into the system because this was my first time here. She gave me a slip/ reciept and said they would be ready Wednesday AM. Not a problem because I didn't need them right away. So I didn't get around to picking them up until Wednesday PM. She checked my reciept and pulled out all of the items. She wrapped them in plastic wrap for the transport home. She pulled one of the shirts and mentioned a stain on the arm. I had forgotten all about it. She asked if I would like it cleaned again. I declined because I remembered it was red fabric paint that my nephew had gotten onto my son's sleeve by accident. I gotten most of it off but fabric dye is tricky. That's probably not coming out ever. I paid my bill and headed to my husband who needed a shirt. He grabbed his white shirt that he had forgotten to mention he spilled coffee on. Which was still visible. I guess she overlooked that one because I would have had them reclean that one. I didn't notice until I got home that the dark shirts from my sister still had puppy fur on them. I used a fabric brush to clean that up. Overall, I am okay with the work. I would have liked a little more effort on their part even if they would have added more $ to the end bill. (I usually go to another dry cleaner but they are out of the way- they always took care of things that I might have forgotten to mention before. They would even call if they felt extra services needed to be done.) I have a few more things I need cleaned but I am on the fence if I should return here or go oit of my way to the other place.
