Another trip, another happy client...my son. Thanks Debbie for being so helpful!!!! Once again Hokas will be the shoe for my son. If you have Foot issues try new shoes first before spending that copay at the Dr! The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly. You also get to try the shoes on a treadmill. read more

Great experience! Customer service was great, Matt helped my boyfriend and I put. Gave great suggestions, helpful with options and different colors. The store also has a treadmill to test out the shoes read more

Excellent service! Staff works with you to find the shoes you're looking for and provide lots of options based on your preferences to choose from. They have a great range of options for running shoes with high quality brands. Not cheap, but worth the value of the shoes and service you receive! A good selection of other running gear (clothing, bags, socks) are available too. A go-to for running needs! read more

Two minutes to five was rudely told to me when I walked in and unless I know what I want we will close.!! Think this was not a professional opening hello. Fortunately a different person pleasantly waited on me and I was out by 5:10!! And fortunately I have been going to the store for years and was always happy about the experience. read more

Excellent service and store. I also love that you can donate your used shoes so that someone can reuse them!

I have been doing a lot of running lately so I decided that it would make sense to get a pair of running shoes. I came in and was warmly welcomed by one of the shoe salesperson. I explained my situation to her and after that, she took some measurements of my feet. They had a pretty cool device that outlined my foot. The shoe salesperson decided that based upon the flatness of my foot, I should get a shoe with extra support. After that, she brought out a variety of shoes in my size. They were all well known, high quality shoe brands like Asics, Mizuno, Saucony and Brooks. I was than able to try them on and run around their mini-track. They also had a treadmill, which you can run on instead. At the end, I went with a pair of Mizunos that were really comfortable with great support. They also sell bars, waffles and gummies here, which they said were good before runs. I also signed up for their rewards program, which gives you $25 discounts. There is also a cute little garden nearby! Altogether, this is a great place to get everything for your running needs! read more

I was excited to pick up a pair of shoes I had on hold. I walked in the establishment only to be looked at in the face and ignored-- TWICE. Granted, the associate was about to ring a customer up but for a small business that wasn't busy or crowded, a quick greeting is expected. As much as I don't want to think this- I wouldn't be surprised if the lack acknowledgement was due to the fact that I'm a black woman in a store on the Mainline *insert side eye here. read more

This place is great! Exactly what I had hoped for in my shoe shopping experience -- the salesguy closely examined my stride and then recommended shoes that would provide my feet the support they need. He was extremely patient and knowledgeable. I came away with a great pair of running shoes at a very reasonable price. I would definitely return and recommend this place to others. read more

I tend to buy shoes online because I know what I like and where to get them. But I've been wanting to buy local and it turns out I'm so happy I did. I got sized exactly right and the staff were friendly and helpful. From now on, I'm sticking with local. read more

Really good service with lots of personal and professional attention.

This is one of the best running stores I've ever seen and I've been to quite a lot. The level of knowledge their staff has (not to mention running PB's) is amazing. They are super friendly and super helpful. Whether you're an elite marathoner or just a running looking to shed a few pounds you will find what you're looking for here and if you don't know what you're looking for these guys can help. They have an amazing selections of track (and field!!) spikes and racing flats along with apparel for any season along with training aides of all sorts. They even have a nice little library of running books for purchase. Seriously, this store is GREAT!! Along with the training aides, shoes, and gear they have group runs at the store all the time. Check their website for dates and times. read more

Drew was very helpful in fitting me properly for running shoes today. He was able to assess the wear on my old pair and make several recommendations, which literally made it so difficult to choose a new pair---they were all great! I also loved that I could donate my old shoes to a homeless shelter. Great little store with great staff. Lucky to have such a gem in Bryn Mawr! read more

The perfect place to find the running shoes that are just right for your feet and running habits. The super friendly and helpful staff offer expert advice and are willing to bring out 100 pairs of shoes if it will help you find the perfect pair for you. Also one of the very few running stores in the Philadelphia area where they actually have sales on shoes and clothing. No wonder everyone keeps 'running back' to this place. [TIP: if you find a make/model you like, ask if they still have any of the older models in the back for you to try (they often do at Bryn Mawr running!) ... chances are those are on sale.] - pinkposy read more

You can never go wrong with Bryn Mawr Running Company. I have bought my running sneakers there since I was in elementary school. I ran all through college and still to this day and I have only ever bought my sneakers and spikes from there. Bob the owner is awesome and so is their store manager Jason. There staff is great, knowledgable and helpful. I have never waited to be helped there. Even if it is busy they still acknowledge you and make you feel welcome. They have great store policies and a great selection of everything you could imagine you needed as a runner not to mention an running club you can join. How sweet is that? A true dream come true :) read more

Really helpful service! She didn't push one brand over another and was extremely patient. Best of all, I love my sneakers!

Bryn Mawr Running Co is the best of the best, as far as I'm concerned. I am a new runner, and went way out of my way to get shoes there today because I knew I would have expert guidance. The owner is a lifelong runner and just oozes spirit and enthusiasm. You can't lose!! read more

This past weekend I had a great experience at Bryn Mawr Running Company. The staff was so helpful examined my stride to see what sneakers would be best for my feet. They gave me 3 to pick from which all three felt better then any shoe I have tried before. They put me in a stability shoe because my ankles roll in a bit. I picked a great pair of sneakers and felt great about my purchase. I will never go back to a department store to buy running shoes again. I can tell already tell the running company saved me years of foot pain. I highly recommend this store for anyone who wants a good pair of shoes that works for them. read more

Great, great running store. I went as a beginner runner and got all the help I needed picking shoes. I was terrified that they would look down on me because, at a size 24, I definitely don't look like a runner. My experience could not have been any better - they treated me kindly and thoughtfully and were excited to get me started running. (On my way out, they said "Come back and let us know how it goes!") After I picked out my shoes, one of the people helping me suggested I check out the sale they were having on clothing. I asked if they carried plus sizes. They do - for men. Not for women (bummer, and the only reason I'm giving them a 4 instead of a 5). read more

There's not a better place that you can go to find a pair of running shoes or equiptment. They have just about any kind of shoe you can find as well as a staff that is friendly and knowledgable. Prices aren't cheap but they sell quality products that will last. read more

What a gift it is to have this place in our community. They are super knowledgable and friendly and they sell very high quality products. I took my kids to four shoe stores today and three wanted to sell me flimsy overpriced junk. While BM running co is not cheap it is a decent value given the quality. Both my kids run around A LOT and I trust their advice 100%. I consider myself a running company fan forever. read more

I've recently gotten back into running and have to thank the folks at Bryn Mawr Running Co for helping me on my way. As a store, they have a great selection of running shoes, socks, clothing and other gear at fair prices & a very knowledgeable staff. But, beyond the store, it is amazing how much they do for the local running community. Between organized long runs, track workouts, social events and the races they organize and sponsor, all you need to do is walk in the door & they'll get you what you need to get running and plugged into the local running scene. read more

Wow. Kevin knows his stuff. Assessed my needs, made three suggestions and wham.....I bought the Adidas Boost. I have happy feet again.

Incredible sales staff (friendly, honest, helpful, knowledgable), great selection of both sneakers and other gear.

Great place to go for running/walking/exercising sneakers! They really know their shoes and the mechanics of them, as well as the mechanics of your gait. The customer service and the personal attention you get buying a pair of sneakers is far above and beyond what you would get at the other "usual" retail sports sneaker stores. I bought my last pair of running sneakers here several years ago and I received the same great attention and expertise then also. That's what helped make my decision to go back here again for another pair of running shoes this time, as opposed to the other "usual" sports shoes stores, and I wasn't disappointed. I got the same personal, high quality attention and customer service that I got years ago. Plus the pair of sneakers I bought years ago held up really well. They clearly were a well made shoe. They really pay attention to your feet and and gait/stride to make sure you pick the best, most appropriate type of shoe to best suit and fit your feet. So it's nice to know that customer service and attention hasn't changed. I also never felt pressured by the salesperson to "lean" towards buying a particular shoe. Cost wasn't even mentioned to me when they presented the shoes. Our decision making process was totally based on fit, wear, style and comfort. I'm so happy I went here again to buy my sneakers, and I will continue to do so in the future for the rest of my running shoe needs. They are great people to work with, and willing to go the extra mile to fit the right shoe to their customers. read more

i have to agree with Ken's review. The people who work at BMRC have been great! They look out for what's right for you rather than just trying to make a quick sale--and I've gotten really helpful advice. That they can give as freely to the running community, expand to two more stores in the past year or so, and come out ahead--this is evidence they have it right! The owner, Bob, has a lot of energy, loves doing what he does, and sharing it with others. That's the way a business should be run. read more

Really nice people run this store! They have great prices and make sure to help every customer get personalized service.

Bryn Mawr Running is a great place to buy running gear. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and avid runners themselves, so they know what they are talking about - and they are very patient when I need to try on many shoes before finding the right one! They also carry many options for running shoes and pretty much any clothing, accessories, etc. you might need. Great store! read more

So I had mixed feelings before posting this but here goes. I went in to purchase an article of clothing one afternoon and approached the counter to pay (I wasn't greeted at all either). The cashier (blonde short hair) was just soooo engaged in talking to another customer that she didn't ask if I wanted to check out. They literally stood at the register staring straight ahead not even allowing me approach and pay! LOL. I even took out my wallet not wanting to "interrupt" her conversation and stood there for almost 10 MINUTES while they gabbed on about their kids races! Finally, I turned around and returned the piece back to the rack and left. The woman (manager??) was very rude and I will not be returning anytime soon. Bryn Mawr Running company, you all know better than this, please learn to be more courteous of your customers next time or you will start loosing more business and from the looks of your inventory you need it. read more

Best running store I have been to coast to coast and north and south of the U.S. Knowledgeable, accurate and eager to please all walks of life. Store layout is conducive to efficient and effective shopping and analysis. Jason was terrific and recommend working with him. He brought out four pairs of shoes and I loved each one AFTER he watched me walk. Each one was a little different than the other and the decision was tough to make and had to get two. Great socks, running attire, electronics and huge assortment of gels. They also give back in perpetuity $25 for every $500 purchased which is nice. I have to a lot of stores and the national chains and never walked out feeling like I was getting a noticeable different shoe. I couldn't find these online either and believe me want to try this caliber of shoe versus saving a couple bucks and not getting the bang for your buck on your runs. Can't wait to return after my 300 miles. read more
