He showed zero warmth, patience, or professionalism during our visit, which was infuriating considering we drove over an hour to this location after having an excellent experience in the past. He rushed through my so-called "exam" in less than five minutes, making it feel like an inconvenience rather than a medical appointment. Instead of carefully adjusting the lenses one step at a time to determine the most accurate prescription, he simply dialed the knob and instructed me to say "stop" when the vision appeared clearest. This is NOT how a thorough or responsible eye exam is conducted. It genuinely felt like we were witnessing the tail end of his career--where attention to detail, professionalism, and basic care for patients have completely eroded. I left feeling cheated and disrespected. This review is meant as a warning: if you value your eyesight and your time, demand a different optometrist. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid being examined by Dr. Richard Clem altogether.

Sean was the optician that assisted me and he was super pleasant and knowledgeable - I feel like I took mini optician course today with what I learned while selecting my frames. I couldn't decide & ended up purchasing 3 pair (and for a lot less than $700!) I'm still waiting on the call to pick up my glasses now. It has been longer than the 2 hours they quoted me BUT the other place told me 2-3 WEEKS so whether it takes 2 hours or all night, I'll still be happy I got them in a day as opposed to waiting almost a month. Usually, if something is too good to be true it isn't, but in this case it really was true. Here's how it went. I texted Steve the prescription, which he said could be made while I waited. (My grandson had lost his other glasses, so it was important to get new ones ASAP.) Sure enough, we picked out a pair of frames and received the glasses within about 20 minutes. The amazing price was $125. Now imagine the hassle of going to Walmart or somewhere, then having to go back to pick them up, then paying what would surely be a lot more. And yes, he's only open on Wednesday, but for us it was worth every bit the wait (two days.) Cannot recommend these folks highly enough.
