Ordered this pencil for my sister who just graduated to become a teacher and I love it sooo much! My order was ready within a couple days and I'm so so happy with the outcome! Will definitely be ordering again!

I thought it would be special to paint together and it was! We visited on a weekday around 8pm. The girls at the counter greeted us, explained how everything worked and were so sweet and kind. We picked a vase, our colors and painted together. I received a call 3 days later that it was ready for pick-up! It was perfect!!!!! Something we will cherish for years to come! I will definitely return for a girls night or just a night out of the house. Super clean, friendly staff, easy parking in the connecting lot. You can also bring in any of your own food and drink! Wow! So happy I found this gem!

The studio fits large group of six as well as smaller groups in the main or back area. The main area has great open floor concept with natural sky lighting but the back feels more intimate and quiet. Good mix of both vibes to cater to your experience. The different variety of pottery are abundant for you to select that averages about $30 with $11 set fee per person. There's a wall of color for you to write down on a smaller palette. I loved that they how the final product would look like depending on the number of coats you brush on your item. The service is attentive to refill your paint but not overbearing. The location is right by the plaza parking that only charges overnight or you can always do street parking as well. Don't miss out on grabbing a drink from the tea shop next door to accompany the painting

For a Friday evening, the crowd inside is very light...so I hope this establishment survives. Inside the store, the "stall" set up area feels incomplete or semi-vacant. Most of the vendors are selling knick-knacks rather than food, which wasn't what I expected from a night market-inspired space -- more food stall or hot bar please. The area is sub-divided into sections that seem to try to create a little of everything -- there are spaces for gatherings, worship, paintings and a small gift shop. Food options are limited to just a couple of snack bars, which don't really compare to as much options like 99 Ranch. There is also offering to learn mahjong! One bright spot, though, is the wishing tree, which is a very welcoming and thoughtful touch. Too bad, the paper was out.

My older boys have attended the school-age program, and my 3-year-old daughter is enrolled in the preschool program. One of the things we love most is the enrichment program and all of the hands-on sensory activities they provide. The children are always engaged in fun, creative, and educational experiences that help them learn and grow. It's clear that a lot of thought goes into planning activities that are both meaningful and age-appropriate. As a parent, I often wonder what my child is doing throughout the day, and I truly appreciate that they take photos and share those moments with us. It gives me peace of mind and allows me to feel connected to their daily experiences. We especially look forward to the preschool performances. The kids sing songs and use instruments during their performances, and it's always such a joy to watch them showcase what they've learned. The teachers are absolutely amazing! They are caring, patient, and truly invested in each child's development. It's comforting to know our children are in such a loving and supportive environment every day. The school-age program has also been wonderful for my boys. They especially love the summer program, where they have a morning curriculum of learning along with fun days that include field trips. They enjoy being there, have built great friendships, and always come home excited to share what they did. My daughter has also flourished in the preschool program and looks forward to going every day. As a parent, there is no greater peace of mind than knowing your children are safe, happy, and genuinely cared for. We are so grateful to everyone at COL for the positive impact they've had on our family. I highly recommend COL in Buena Park to any family looking for a nurturing, engaging, and trustworthy daycare and preschool. Their dedication to the children and their families truly makes them stand out, and we are thankful to be part of the COL family.

I love Color Me Mine, and this location is one of my favorites to go to! It does get really busy,…read moreso a reservation (or at least calling ahead to see if they can hold seats on the day of) is pretty much a must. The Brea location has more seating than other locations I've been to, which makes it a bit more forgiving if you try to do a walk-in. Reservations are made online and cost $5/person, which goes towards your total. From a large palette, you choose five colors. Sometimes if a friend and I want to use the same color, we'll just put it on one person's plate, which ends up giving us more color options overall! There's also a guide on each table with tips for different ceramic painting techniques. There's a cup of various styles and sizes of paintbrushes, and you can also request for a thin bottle for writing or detail-work. You get two hours to paint, but I've never felt rushed with either picking my piece or during the actual painting process. The staff here are always so attentive, courteous, and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. I've noticed that when it gets super busy and you need a paint refill and someone hasn't come by, don't be afraid to raise your hand or walk over to someone, everyone is super friendly. They have a great selection of pottery, and you just pay the price of your piece plus the flat studio fee. The space is clean, and I love that they also offer outdoor seating. Since it's right in the middle of downtown Brea, it's fun to people watch and enjoy the vibe outside on a warm day. They'll occasionally have special events or deals too, like student nights with a discounted studio fee. With its central location in downtown Brea, it's such a perfect spot to catch up with friends, celebrate a birthday, or have a cute date!

It is $10 per child and $12 per adult for the supplies and then of course the cost of whatever you choose to paint. We ended up spending about $85 for two pieces. my daughter absolutely loved the experience and really it was very fun for our little family. I definitely recommend to give this place a shot if you're into painting and especially if you have Littles, who are very creative.

I was avoiding going to a store like staples because I really wanted to decide all of the tiny details one on one with someone. That's why I'm so happy I found Paper wonders. Sue is an absolute sweetheart, who really cares about the client experience. When I first found paper wonders and gave Sue a call, she asked me what I had in mind for my invitations, and I told her we were thinking about a laser cut tree that opened up to the invitation. She understood what I wanted and had different samples and ideas laid out for us the same day, during our first visit. She is also great with working within a budget and is not pushy when it comes to add ons. I was tempted at some points to add cute add ons to our invitations but I had to remind myself that this isn't a wedding. However for my baby shower and wedding invitations I'm going all out! Lol :D Once we had some ideas going we visited with Sue 2 more times, and emailed concepts and ideas back and fourth. I was very particular on the spacing, symmetry and the flow of the invitation. She captured everything I wanted and helped made our party soooooo much better with our beautiful invitations. You can tell that Sue is truly passionate with her work and her clients and I just wish there was more small businesses that worked the way she does. Thank you so much Sue and to your team too! I also loved our conversations when we would get carried away and start chatting for 45 minutes or an hour lol I'll also add that Sue has a lot of knowledge in the party planning/ wedding industry. She has a lot of good tips for decorating and she even let me rent two of her backdrops from her for our party :D Anyone who is looking for some amazing invitations please give Paper wonders a try! :) You won't regret it!

She was organized and professional and very easy to work with! BUT !!! What really makes her above and beyond is when I had received my final order and went home I realized that three of the wedding invitations were missing the rhinestone appliqués to it. I called Audrey immediately and she profusely apologized to me! She offered and even showed up at my house with her toolbox and by hand added the rhinestones to each invitation in my living room !!!! And then handed me a check of $100 as an apology!!!!!!! Who does that?! AMAZING AUDREY DOES! I was floored and humbled by such great customer service. I am sure I will never have such a great customer service experience ever again but I am sure glad that this experience was for such an important day! Thank you thank thank you Audrey!!!!!

More Than Just A Frame…read more Went to Hobby Lobby looking for a picture frame for a short poem that means a great deal to me. I quickly became puzzled over the frame color, size, and whether to use a mat or not. Thankfully, Kim came to the rescue. She was patient, thoughtful, and walked through several options with me without ever making me feel rushed. With her wonderful eye and expertise, we found a frame that fit perfectly, and adding the mat made the poem look so dimensional and lovely. It truly brought the piece to life. I also didn't realize they do custom framing, and that really fills a gap left when our local art store was lost during Covid. It is comforting to know there is still a place where people genuinely care about helping you create something meaningful and beautiful. Thank you, Kim, for making what felt overwhelming into such a warm and lovely experience.

It's a pretty big and spacious Hobby Lobby…read more I don't usually go to Hobby Lobby as it's more convenient for me to locate a Michael's closer to me, but it's always nice to stop by when I get the chance too since there's always a mish mash of neat things that they have, either for cosplay, gifts for others, arts and crafts, etc. We're still 10+ days until Valentine's Day, but they were already clearing a good chunk of that out and all of the Easter stuff has been moved in. It's the same as any other arts and crafts store, you gotta be at LEAST 2 months early to get the best pick of the batch. Though on the other hand, you can get the super clearance items later on in the holiday season. I liked that there's lots of cute prints for their fabrics and different textures, seeing that most Walmarts don't have this anymore and Joann's is completely decimated. I think my main issues are all of the AI SLOP art that's being sold to those who cannot tell the difference and the fact that there was shoplifting randomly during our visit. Sucks, but yeah, it's mostly the AI slop that sickens me. I couldn't find anything that I needed during my visit, but my friend got some cupcake liners since the ones she ordered online were mini even though the website said nothing about the sizing, so she assumed they were regular sized. They, of course, had no Valentine's Day ones leftover, so she found cute bow ones. For on sale and clearance items, it works!
