I don't normally review dentists, but I read all the other comments about Dr. Krey before my boyfriend had his four wisdom teeth pulled and everyone else said he was the best. I kind of shrugged it off, because I figured all dental surgeons were probably the same. They all pull teeth don't they? It will hurt won't it? Except, I was wrong and my boyfriend had such a great experience with Dr. Krey and the staff that I had to review them ;)
He had the consultation two years ago and then finally decided to go through with the surgery. First, they gave him laughing gas to calm him down, then they gave him an injection and then after what seemed like only 15 or 20 minutes, everything was done. The next thing he knew, he was awake with no memory of the surgery whatsoever. Not only did they take care of him, they also made sure that I understood what to do once I took him home. They called the local walgreens to get the Vicodin ready for me to pick up and they gave us a care package full of gauze, information, ice packs, everything you need to take care of the mouth after the surgery.
They made sure we could get home safely and everyone in the office were so helpful and concerned. Glenn took the time to explain how to reduce nausea associated with vicodin and the assistant made sure I knew how to put gauze in his mouth. Afterwards, at around 6:30pm, Dr. Krey called us to ask if everything was ok.
My boyfriend felt no pain, except for nausea from vicodin. The extraction site was super clean, no pointy bone shards that we read about online, no broken or loose stitching. The whole surgery was done so perfectly. It didn't even hurt much and we were very thankful to Dr. Krey and his team for doing such a wonderful job.
Then, a week later, my boyfriend went in for the post operative appointment and the dental assistant answered questions, and showed him how to use a cleaning syringe to clean out his wisdom teeth extraction sites with water and mouthwash. They were prompt, great service all around. Terrific surgeon.
I'm glad I don't have to get mine pulled out, but If I ever did, I'd go to them. read more
