I am looking to recover more of my costs as this was a horrible experience. -Propane heater not working on one floor of the house -Bags of garbage, empty liquor bottles and cans, cardboard from the previous guests left on the porch for our entire stay -Mouse droppings throughout the house, mouse traps under the beds, sofas and in kitchen -Outdated tvs not allowing us to cast our apps from our phone to the tvs -Hot tub jets not working, heated pool not heated -Limited kitchen utensils available to cook a meal. We were forced to buy our own utensils -No shovel was provided in the mountains of Vermont. It snowed for the two days we were visiting leaving an additional 4 inches of snow in the driveway -Extremely poor customer service. Delayed response time and not accommodating -Fees were allegedly more than the price per night. We were provided a 25% refund which was named as standard for any complaint. This amount is not equal to the terrible experience we had at the property. -Customer service cutting us off during the conversation and avoiding questions. -Spoke with manager Tala, and supervisor Joann left a voicemail stating they do not want to help us any further. We did not get even close tot the value of what we paid. And staying in a house with cleanliness issues, health issues (no heat and mouse feces) deserves more attention from customer service to ensure their customers are satisfied.

The sheets had debris on them and stains all over them. Then as you can see in the pictures that same bed was damaged and my 80 year-old mother fell through the bed and had some back and neck problems and a major headache that I had to take her to the emergency room that same night. There was no hot water. The lady came in to check the hot water and turned the breaker off and did not tell us that she had turned the hot water breaker off. I had to boil water on the stove, just to get some hot water to take a shower. We had came home one night and it was 90° in the house because the heater had kicked on not sure why you need a heater when it was already over 80° outside. Horrible horrible horrible experience horrible people. Beds felt like they were 30 years. Old. Literal prison mattresses for the bed sheets were rough as could be. If I could give negative negative negative stars I would do it in a heartbeat. These people are horrible. Please do not ever rent from them. So this is in response to Molly the customer service rep that just commented on my review. Don't you think that a credit would be appropriate concerning the fact of all the horrible things we had to endure while we stayed you literally just said that the bedroom was removed and all these other things were done to prevent this from happening again but yet we're out $506 And had a horrible horrible experience. So if you're really wanting to make it right, maybe a refund would be so much better thank you.

However - be aware the owner is very rude/strict about noise level. The common area is fairly small for a cabin that sleeps 22 but if you spill-over from the living room & dining room to the deck area then there is enough room. The Owner doesn't want you to move any of the furniture or there is a $20 charge per piece if slightly out of place. I made a reservation for July 3 & 4 (my 30th birthday), letting the Owner know that there will be 22 of us. We had 3 very negative interactions with the owner so just be aware - I say this to give other potential renters a heads up. I'm extremely upset, I have so much anxiety still thinking about this weekend and my memories of my 30th birthday are now 100% tainted by these negative interactions.

The accommodations handle our large family every year. We are returning again this year! See you on the slopes. Cheers

My favorites, well I like them all but if I had to choose I might pick Lake Terrace because of the lovely view on the back patio and if you golf you're in luck. There is a golf course near the unit. I love #2 as well it's great if you have a larger group. All of the trailers have everything you need from a blender (wink, wink) to a barbeque. The décor well, the name says it all lol. Christmas trees, beer cans, Uncle Billy Bob's brief case (Tighty whities with a handle.) It's all decked out and we love it! I could write a book about how wonderful it is while visiting there. It's very odd and unprofessional. Do not stay here unless you have your own RV. It's gross and she will ask for more money later to do the laundry that they should always do no mattet what.

This property juts up to a beautiful section of the South Fork of the Payette River. The hosts have set up many different seating areas overlooking the river. The property sits above the river and there is a cliff right next to the river, but with a couple of private trails that lead down to the property's own private beach areas when the river is lower. The crown gem of the property however is a nice little hot pool that is the perfect temperature for soaking. Our favorite times to soak were in the early morning hours and well into the night when it was nice and dark. The hosts had provided some nice floating equipment to use in the pool that were great for relaxing in the water and enjoying some epic stargazing. This property is in the wilderness away from town so the setting is perfect for this type of activity. And best of all...you have the whole place to yourselves. The hosts, Jamie and Dan, are some of the nicest and most helpful people and really care that you have a good time on their property. They are very warm and welcoming in their demeanor. They are always available if you need them, but they have a way of making it feel as if you have the whole property to yourself, which you kind of do. The separate cabin for the guests is small but super cozy. Even though there is not a kitchen, there is a fridge and microwave with a grill just outside the door. There are a couple of fire pits as well and so there are opportunities to cook over an open fire if you want to. We ate very well while we were there. The hosts also stock the cabin with a variety of different snacks and treats. There are also treats provided for you to feed their horse Legs if you so desire. Activities abound in this area and we are avid hikers, so that is where we spent a lot of our time, but we always loved returning after a long hike to just chill on the property and take it all in. We have stayed at a lot of different places like this, but Double J&D Hot Spring Ranch is probably our favorite. As I said before, the hosts are amazing and there are tons of things to do in the area. They provide their guests with a good range of activities and the property guide book has a good deal of information about the area with recommendations. And if you can't find what you're looking for, Dan and Jamie will probably be able to point you in the right direction. It was our second time staying there and it certainly won't be the last. We were only there for three nights, and I wish we could have stayed longer. If you decide to give this place a chance, I'm sure that you will leave feeling refreshed and rejuvinated as this is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and re-connect with nature.

The fridge is small but adequate and is on the porch. Each cabin has a nice porch area with a grill, table, chairs, and fridge. The kitchen does the trick although at least in #7 what I thought was an oven turned out to be an old fridge that didn't work. Coffee pot and microwave are provided along with plenty of cooking supplies. The grounds are well kept with an amazing view of Wallowa lake. It's on the side of the lake away from the tourist areas so it's quiet. There's a game room and a playground. I walked around quite a bit and really enjoyed it. The owners and their family were friendly and helpful. I could really go on and on. No cell signal here and no wifi so it's a great place to unplug.
