The smell in the air of the pine and forest are worth every penny. Each room has a private deck with table and chairs overlooking the forest behind the lodge. Inside the main lodge is beautiful and clean, with a pool table and games upstairs. They also have cabins for rent and an entire house for larger groups. The cost is better than the hotels in town, and for the privacy and quiet, this is the only experience worth paying for. But if you need something, town is only a couple minutes drive. My sweety and I spent our evenings during by the pond, listening to the fountain and looking at the stars. The people here have been incredibly polite, friendly, and as helpful as you could ask for. I understand that ownership has changed hands in recent months, so don't give any heed or negative reviews. These people are not the same. Fantastic place! We HIGHLY recommend staying here.
