My husband and I stoped by after a Lowes trip. We got shakes and his was fine / normal. Mine on the other hand, was WAY too liquid. I ordered an Oreo sake and it tastes like milk mixed with Oreo dust. The woman who was taking the order seemed like she had better things to do and wanted us out of her window. There wasn't anyone else being helped or a line, so I don't understand why she was rushing us and upset with us for asking questions. It seems like others have nice experiences here, maybe my husband and I's experience was just a one off, who knows. I don't think I'm going back. Also, 2 x Md sakes $19 + tip, that's a little crazy for what we got. read more

What a great little ice cream place! I love how they gave us cute pup cups for our dogs and the fact that they have dairy free and no sugar added flavors. Very quick and efficient service even when they are packed! read more

Homemade ice cream? Good portion sizing? Seasonal flavors? Alternatives if you're lactose sensitive? (unless you're like me and want to live on the wild side ) This place IS a bit out of the way from where we currently live but we did happen to be in the area so when in Rome (or in this case Beaufort)...get ice cream. It's all outdoors so if it's bad weather you're kind of out of luck but again worth it. I'll probably go for something more dairy sensitive friendly next time read more

The ice cream is so creamy and good. I had a waffle bowl w one scoop of horchata (amazing) and one scoop of southern banana pudding (so good). My bf had NY cheesecake (delish) and birthday cake (I'm not a fan but it was pretty good). He loves this place. It was my first time. Definitely a place to try again read more

Their ice cream is the best! All the flavors taste rich and delicious. Earlier I got a regular cup (comes with 3 scoops) so I chose black cherry chocolate chunk, birthday cake, and horchata flavors. My dad got a regular waffle cone with white turtle ice cream. We both loved what we got. If you're not sure which flavor to get, they offer samples. I just wish there was a Bruster's in Charleston where I live. read more

Walk up ice cream, heavy scoops and delicious flavors. It is S.C. so be prepared to fight bugs in hotter days or eat in your car.

Ice cream taste very fresh. Very rich and delicious. Highly recommend. 10 out of 10 would eat here again.

The ice cream was wonderful!!! I ate the deep dish apple pie + the Hersey's Chocolate on a fresh baked waffle cone. All the ice in made on premise and the service there was like they were family. It's a family owned business, we met the owner pressuring washing the exterior of the building, couldn't have been a nicer man, a person, I would want as a neighbor. Next time I'm in Beaufort, this place I'm going to visit!! I recommend this business!!!! read more

So I called to ask if the online order service was down which it was so I asked if I could order while she had me on the phone and the associate said no because there are 15 people waiting in line. So what if I was disabled? read more

So delicious! If you have a chocolate craving, get the Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae with Double chocolate chunk ice cream and some melted peanut butter. Food-gasm worthy! Hubby had the Strawberry Cheesecake sundae and it was truly scrumptious! You can always count on Bruster's for the most delicious ice cream. read more

So we got there a little before opening and we waited in their private parking lot. They opened promptly at 12. We were greeted by such a sweet man who took our order and made them fairly quick. For the area he had such an amazing personality and customer service. My daughter absolutely loved it. They offer a free baby come for kids under 40" tall but my daughter saw the gummy worm on their dirt sundae and had to have it. My husband had the hot fudge sundae and it was delicious. I got the blast that offered with a few different candies but I got the recees blast. Overall I would definitely go back based on customer service alone. But the ice cream was amazing too! read more

My guilty pleasure. Stopped in for a small waffle cone with butter pecan ice cream. Their ice cream is very good, but sometimes the taste and consistency changes as I believe its homemade. I still love it, small trade off in my book but worth it. read more

Really good ice cream with a nice verity of flavors and if your not in the mood for that they have shakes , yogurt and cake 9/10 recommend the only thing kinda iffy is how long it may take but understandable do to it being one of the only ice cream places in the area over all some good ice cream. read more

I used to work at Brusters and make the ice cream, so I know what I like from there and be 100% okay with paying the price because of its quality. I recently got 2 pints, one of New York cheesecake, and one of chocolate raspberry truffle. I was not satisfied and kind of annoyed that I payed that much for "New York Cheesecake" that tasted like plain vanilla ice cream with some graham cracker. The "Chocolate Raspberry Truffle", was straight chocolate ice cream with little to no raspberry or chocolate flakes. Not a norm for Brusters Ice cream, hope it doesn't stay one. read more

Ice cream was good but service wasn't great. Employee (blonde girl with glasses) was talking with boyfriend instead of helping customers and told us to go to the next window who was very busy. Talked to him for about 10 mins while we just sat there and waited while the boy finished his ice cream cone. Not happy. Good ice cream though. read more

Exceptional ice cream. However at 2pm and 99 degree July heat; that fact that they have zero indoor seating was a shock. But the ice cream was so good we gave them 5 stars. read more

Staff is always great and no matter how busy they are, they have always been polite and courteous to us

Delicious ice cream. We drive all the way out here to get it. The chocolate raspberry truffle is killer.

My wife and I love going to Brusters every single Sunday afternoon when we leave church it's like a family tradition for us to visit this restaurant. I love every employee especially the young ladies who take the orders because they are so friendly and energetic, they know the menu very well and they make great suggestions. They know how I love my chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream with fudge on top and a hot brownie at the bottom and my wife loves the apple sundae with whatever it comes with . I suggest that everyone visit the location and please tip the young ladies read more

I have loved this place since I was younger! The ice cream is absolutely delicious! My favorite is the New York cheesecake. I love to get the brownie sundae which includes two scoops of ice cream of your choice. It lasts me two nights, but is almost too good not to devour all in one sitting! I love stopping at Brusters of Beaufort when I am in town! read more

This location is very unprofessional. This is the second time we have placed an order for a birthday cake and the person taking the order does not relay the right info. We called today to see if cake was ready and it was nothing like we ordered. The person said they could not read the order so they just guessed and made whatever. Now we are scrambling to get another. Never going here again read more

Great ice cream. Nice selection of flavours, very reasonable prices and the fact that they give military discounts is very nice.

I really do like this ice cream joint. I wouldn't say that it's the best per se that I've had, but it is truly exceptional and far outranks the other ice cream and yogurt places in Beaufort. You can tell that they use pretty good ingredients. Our little boy loves to go there as he refers to it as "Dino ice cream" - it's a cookie with a scoop of ice cream of you choice topped with whipped cream. read more

Amazing ice cream...mostly amazing service but the ice cream will keep anyone coming over and over.

I did a shocking thing! I went to Brusters at 2:30 on a Wednesday afternoon(cheating on my diet), but it turned out to be a good decision. Instead of getting my usual greeting of a straight mouth with a head cocked to the side, I got a warm, friendly, SMILING server with outstanding customer service skills and knowledge! She said that my butter pecan ice cream had just finished being made 15 minutes ago, and that their ice cream has 23% more butter fat in it, making it creamier and more flavorful than Haagen-Dazs or Breyers. She spoke with the same pride *I* do when I tell others about Bruster's... only this time the customer service matched the ice cream. I'll be back! read more

OMG my boyfriend took me here tonight because I wanted ice cream. They had already closed... but the young man came to the window & still took my order. I was so grateful that he did not turn us away. Thanks so much for my vanilla ice cream w/ caramel. It was definitely the best ice cream I've had in a long time. Always friendly and fast. Get the White Turtle in a waffle cone.

I'm not a sweets person but I LOVE this place! Ice cream is delicious and the staff is super friendly! I've never had an issue here and we come all of the time! I'm a big kid so my favorite is their cotton candy, but everything else is really good too! Nice size portions for a good price and we've even gotten coupons mailed to us, plus a military discount! Can't beat that!! Their kids "menu" is seriously adorable..great place for a little family outing if you're looking for something small to do! Plus you can sit outside on a bench.
