This is a solid four, but if you're a Brusters fan, this is a five for that franchise. For some reason, all of the other Brusters are so disappointing. The only negative experience I've ever had here was when all of the cashiers are ready to take our order and I have to wait seventeen minutes for my wife to figure out what she wants. They're always friendly and willing to give us some samples. The staff are always trained well and do a great job. We have to drive somewhat far to come here, but it's a place we get to multiple times a year. read more

Very disappointed used to come here weekly no complaints, today I brought my hubby for Father's Day asked for dish of chocolate ice cream with extra extra extra peanut butter sauce and whipped cream. I have no problem paying for peanut butter x3 in fact I assume I did however my order came out and the was one small drizzle of peanut butter on top of the whipped cream not even on top of the ice cream. When you are a paying customer you should be able to get exactly what you ask for. read more

Bruster's Real ice cream made my birthday cake. It was amazing. It was an Oreo cookie ice cream sandwich cake. There were mint chocolate chip, black raspberry, chocolate and vanilla Oreo ice cream sandwiches on it. Then the cake itself has a layer of birthday cake ice cream (which has vanilla cake and blue icing in it!). The bottom cake was chocolate caramel ice cream, mama Mia! We always pass this place but never stopped there until tonight. First, for two adults and one child it was only $12, which is really cheap now-a-days. Also, my twins both got FREE ice creams because they were under 40" tall. How cool is that?! I ordered a small chocolate peanut butter buckeye ice cream for myself and I can easily say it was the best PB ice cream I've ever had--there were huge chunks of chocolate with peanut butter; it was delicious. My husband ordered the banana ice cream and it actually tasted like real bananas, not the artificial flavoring that most places use in their ice creams. One of the busiest places at night during the summer in the village of Audubon! The first time I went here was last year when I moved to the area, and since it closes down until summertime, haven't had a chance to go back until recently. Now I've had the chance to enjoy a Jamaica Me Crazy sundae (though, you really have to like coconut, because the ice-cream is FULL of it!) as well as a chocolate/peanut-butter sundae of sorts. Scrumptious for SURE. The sundaes can be a little pricey, but if you want to have a banana split, there's a sign that says if you bring in your own banana on Thursdays, you get half off the banana split! First of all the young lady that waited on me at the window there was super nice. Now past that the food I received was awful. I used to work in a restaurant as a teenager 20 years ago. When French fries are dark in color yet raw inside that is a clear sign of dirty oil. Fresh clean oil will cook a fry while still keeping a light attractive color. The fries were soggy, very raw and very dark in color. To save money they must not be filtering or changing their oil often. The cheese dog was what it was but the roll was a bit stale. The root beer float was what it was. You order 1 hot dog, fries and a float it seemed a little extreme to pay over $11.50. I am sure their normal ice cream may be good. Just do not waste you money on the hot dog or especially the fries unless you want to ask about the freshness of the oil. read more

This girl must be on her phone all day as there were at least 4 or 5 other customers while we were in the parking lot and she never put her phone down!
