We live right next to Bruster's. It's wildly hit or miss. I LOVE that they experiment with new flavors and combinations, but some simply DON'T WORK, or don't freeze well. If a flavor is soup, don't serve it. More times than not the cone i get is absolutely dripping faster than I can control it before I even get my card back from paying. There are flavors with marshmallow or soft caramel that won't freeze properly and just end up not working. Some flavors had so much "sweet" and "thick" texture you just end up wanting to throw it out. Ice cream should be a sweet treat that is almost a refreshing occasional treat - this ice cream makes me feel like Im going to be an instant diabetic. Their take on the McFlurry, basically a milk shake with candy pieces, is a flop. It doesn't work. Just not blended properly at all. Tried a few times. Bruster's is definitely a busy place and certainly doesn't have a problem keeping customers returning, but they should definitely keep working on flavors before just sending them out. You could stand there all day like an inconsiderate a-hole trying all the flavors, but in the end you'd realize that of the 50 new flavors, only like 6 work. If you're in the mood to try something new and unique, and are okay with weird combinations that may need to come with a tall glass of water, go for it. I HIGHLY recommend getting it in a bowl, NOT a cone. The Sundaes, if made correctly work out awesome. Depends on whose working. Ive had some in a small little cup, and others in a cup I could hardly finish. Depends on who is working I suppose. I'm nostalgic for Baskin-Robbins, the ice creamery of my youth (mint chocolate chip!), but Bruster's will have to do in this town. There are plenty of options for treats; I ordered the "small" waffle cone today, and it was massive. It made me go into a sugar coma merely thinking about the large size. The flavors are very rich and hearty. Tons of Oreos in my coffee Oreo scoops. The lads working were friendly and helpful. You won't find exotic flavors like lychee or bacon here but you're bound to find something you'll like. Love the cow mailbox! read more

I love Bruster's ice cream. I get it a lot and it often makes my day better; however, my last two visits have left me very disappointed. The first time, I was given a "single scoop" in a cup, which could literally fit on my spoon. Tonight was the ultimate disappointment tho. All I've wanted all day was ice cream, and I was given the smallest scoop of ice cream I've ever seen. For $3.50, I'd like more than A BITE OF ICE CREAM. I cried for 2 hours. Other than that, great business. Please never leave me with only one bite of ice cream. Idk why i didn't just ask for more. I threw the ice cream in my car and didn't even end up eating it. The toffee and the cake batter flavors were good. The sea salt caramel was average. It didn't help that it blended well with the toffee that I couldn't tell which was which. My fourth flavor was the White Galaxy that was malted vanilla ice with caramel. It didn't hold up as well with the other flavors. The ice cream parlor is like Sonic. Only outdoor seating is provided and nothing except an umbrella will shelter you from the sun. One peek inside and this place has multiple rows of freezers of ice cream that resemble an ice cream factory ready for a famine. Yum! This was a real post-dinner treat. I went with a girlfriend and we each got a waffle cone with three scoops. I ordered the mint Oreo, snickerdoodle, and coffee cake streusel; she ordered snickerdoodle, chocolate peanut butter chip, and butterscotch ripple. All the flavors were decadent and rich. The waffle cones were cinnamon sugar flavored, which was a nice unexpected treat. I took off a star for service. Went there today and boy what waste of calories. I ordered the hot fudge brownie sunday. The ice cream wasn't good at all. I don't know what the taste was but it didn't taste like the normal ice cream. The brownie was dry and wasn't good at all. The kids and I were heading to the volley ball game so I didn't have time to turn around and deal with it. I will not come here again. Bruster's I must say is top notch. Whenever I need that ice cream I just go to Brusters and I already know that I will be treated the best of the best. Side note: The first time I went to Brusters I remember this man. This man I must say was gorgeous. He was a 10. Actually. Like the kind of man a main character in a romcom falls in love with and then when the going gets good he runs away because he doesn't think he's good enough, but then she chases after and then they declare their love for each other. When I walked up to the counter I could not believe my eyes. He asked what I wanted with a sweet little smirk on his lip and I answered with, "I want Chocolate Oreo Ice Cream in a medium cone sir." He nodded his head and told me it was $3.87 and I gave him my card. Suddenly he turned into Homer from The Simpsons, jumped over the counter and rode a narwal off to wherever he is going. But I'll never forget what he said to me last: "Are you High?" Such a simple statement, but it was so effective. I went to the store on July 31st at 7:30 pm with my family. I speak English with an accent because it is my second language. They had difficulties understanding me, and that was understandable and acceptable. However, what was not acceptable to happen was that the staff was all laughing at my English!!! read more

Mu daughter ordered a dino sundae and the cookie came broken she was devastated to the point of tears because of her first time back since quarantine please tell the staff to be more careful when handling the dino cookies so no more children are upset by the dino cookies being broken to the point you can't tell it's a dinosaur. read more

Ice cream was fine. Service was TERRIBLE. The man and woman working there (9/8/16, last shift) were rude. The woman was incredibly rude--she immediately asked us what we wanted and continued to ask us if we had decided every 5 seconds after that. And she was NOT nice about it. There was such a tone of anger and disdain in her voice. The man was nice. She was really rude to her coworker as well. The real kicker: at 9:39 PM immediately they shut off all of the lights and left those of us sitting there in the pitch black dark. They clearly didn't clean up at all, and they sped out of the parking lot. We were left in the dark to find our way back to our cars. It was so rude! Would not go again. read more

They always seem to have a lot of interesting flavors and an extra star for the free pup cups they provide. Not really the biggest fan of ice cream but Bruster's always hits the spot when I have a craving for some. read more

Had the Oreo Milkshake and it was basically milk and almost no Oreo's at all and a real disappointment and I'm a regular but everything what is pretty good like the all the cheesecake ice cream, just stay away from the Oreo milkshake because it's horrible and basically milk. read more

The ice cream is not good here. It is too soft and the mix in amounts are inconsistent - either way too many or not enough. The same server will scoop up a very large small followed by a much smaller one even in the same order. It is not worth the money. read more
