One star might seem harsh, but it's deserved. Hair color here is VERY expensive but good. Customer service is HORRIBLE. Stayed for the color until this last straw. Tried 4 people over 5 years. Finally found one that seemed to listen the most to me, Sharon. However, with her, I put up with multiple times her canceling 1-2 hours BEFORE my appt I was told b/c of her menstrual cycle, showing up late to some appts, very slow response time via text (the ONLY way to actually book an appt unless in front of her at the salon)(no general phone or website for appts), and then the last straw which was when I had her put in super light highlights and just thought it didn't suit me. Repeatedly emphasized that I would pay full price but wanted a toner put on to warm up the blonde. Took over a week to get a very curt response that she did her job and would be taking off for maternity leave so she couldn't spend any more time on my request. So I tried for another week trying to get her assistant, Tyler, to correct it, and she told me after 2 days that she had no appointments for the next 4 months while Sharon was gone. NEITHER gave an actual recommendation for ANYONE else in the salon. Then I found someone else on Insta, a co-owner of the salon, texted her requesting an appt, sent her a photo of my hair and a Pinterest photo for the warmer shade of blonde I wanted, told her the whole story upfront, and she said (after 2 days) that she'd have to text Sharon. Not sure why since I was upfront that Sharon did what I asked, just didn't suit me, and I wanted to pay to have it toned. Got no response until I texted on the 3rd day trying to confirm an appt, and she said she wasn't skilled enough to do the job. Again, NO recommendation for anyone there that could do it. Customer service is NOT what it used to be. We put up with certain things, but this was too much. Warning everyone going there that the color is good not great, but the service is terrible. The attitude is "we are amazing, we can charge exhorbitant amounts of money but yet we need to do very little and you should be thankful for our genius skills." Um...no. Hard pass. read more
