I had an opportunity one visit to listen to Dr. Nguyen as he worked with a scared child. Wow! What compassion and patience he demonstrated with the child! If I had small children, I'd want Dr. Nguyen to be their dentist. He was incredible! Dr. Kim is excellent. He is knowledgeable and capable. He will take his time to explain everything he sees and his treatment plan. And you know he cares about his patients as he remembers your name when he sees you in the hallway...even if you aren't seeing him that day...and takes a moment to check on you. But oh how I have found hope! The lobby of this dentist office is small and quaint, you are warmly greeted on entering and offered a comfy seat if they are currently busy. They offer cookies, wait a minute, that's hypocrisy in its truest form. Cookies at the dentist office, blasphemous!!! No, actually its pretty awesome! They also have a variety of complementary refreshments to enjoy; tea, water, coffee (Keurig!). There is a small wooden train set and table for the little ones to occupy themselves upon wait as well. Upon first visit, Dr. Kayla Dobmeier, was beyond accommodating. I had my young son with me since we had time mix ups and the hubby was running late on being able to swap arms with me. She quickly assured me it was alright and that she wanted to discuss what was going on with me that I needed to make an emergency appointment. About 6 mos ago,I came in for a cleaning and check up, which was fine. A week later I developed severe pain in a back molar that already had a root canal. Dr. Helen Sergerie diagnosed an infection and prescribed an antibiotic and told me the only tx was to pull the tooth. I asked her multiple times, isn't there any way to save the tooth? No, she said , it must be pulled and sent me to an oral surgeon. I was told the surgery involved IVs, implants, tooth replacements and 6 mos before I would be finished. I went home to consider and took the antibiotics for 4 days and when I was still having pain, I called Dr. Helen Sergerie to ask if another antibiotic would be more effective. She said, Sorry, there's nothing more I can do. Wow, never got that from a Dr before! I finished taking the antibiotics and every day used alot of Listerine and the infection with its pain went away. I wasn't sure about all that other tx so waited to see how the tooth did. 6 mos later, no problems but I needed another teeth cleaning so stupid me, went back to Sagewood. Yup. Got another infection with that same tooth. Well I couldn't believe that my tooth couldn't be saved so I went to my previous dentist at Sterling Ridge Dental. One look and Dr Cope said, absolutely, that tooth can be saved! He sent me to Advanced Clinical Endodontics, (ACE) and sure enough they performed a re-root canal and prescribed strong antibiotics and finally cleared up the infection and fixed the problem with the tooth. One day! Not 6 mos! Stay away from the revenue focused, Dr. Helen Sergerie.

Dr. Priya takes good care of my teeth and I try to see her at all my visits. Very gentle and caring and tells you as it is but in a very caring way. I'm always comfortable and even when my daughter comes with me to the visits she is able to sit in a little play area they have for kids and watch tv or play. She also is able to get a token and get something from the gumball machine which she loves. The assistants are so personable and friendly. Their rooms are always clean and fresh and not to mention their front desk staff Stephanie, she is so gentle and understanding.

They took good care of me! I had an unusual problem: I very occasionally grind my teeth, but the…read morebulkiness of a mouth guard feels awkward in my mouth and keeps me awake at night. Other dentists have told me "just deal with it", but the doc here came up with the perfect solution: we had an invisalign made for me -- not to align teeth, just to create a thin barrier that stops the grinding. It's made of very thin and light material, and I barely notice it in my mouth. They told me that they can't normally do this because heavy grinders would just chew through it, but for minimal and occasional grinding it's perfect. The moral of the story is, they took good care of me and I'm sure they'll do the same for you!
