I still felt pressured into agreeing because I was told they needed to check for possible problems, which caused me unnecessary anxiety as a parent. At the end of the visit, I was told my child didn't need any fillings or extractions. I was still charged $539 for a first visit that included multiple X-rays, an exam, a cleaning, and fluoride. I was shocked by the cost and did not feel that the necessity of all these services or the total price was explained clearly beforehand. If you are paying out of pocket, ask for a written estimate before any treatment and ask exactly which procedures are truly necessary. I will not be returning.

My daughter was nervous at first, but because of their demeanor, my daughter relaxed to let them do their full check up without crying. I was so proud of my daughter for being brave. She was really nervous and Dr Eliott and Haley had put her at ease. Dr Eliott answered all my questions and gave us helpful tips on how to care for our daughter's teeth. We are so happy with the quality of care my daughter receives by everyone at this clinic, from the front desk staff to the hands on health care providers. I wish my dentist was just as friendly, efficient, kind, gentle and knowledgeable as Dr Eliott and Dr Molina.

Not sure if Leslie is a new office manager, but she's not a well-rounded manager and it shows. There are a clear signs of greed inside this office while it's run by Leslie. Our story: We were never told front any of the front office staff, the manager, Leslie, or from the doctors before our scheduled consultation that this office required a vitamin K shot or drops before a laser tongue tie procedure and removal. The office staff should mention this on the phone before any documents are signed and an appointment is scheduled. My wife sat in the office for less than 5 minutes with the doctor and after hearing that they require a vitamin K supplement, We declined any service. That was the only and first statement out of Doctor Anna's mouth and we immediately declined service. Doctor Anna went to Leslie, the office manager, and asked her void any charges for the consultation. Anna came back and told us that Leslie mentioned that she was not willing to void the charges for the consultation. Once we spoke to Leslie, she insisted on arguing with us that a consultation was performed and that the insurance would be charged, despite our plea that we rejected service as soon as we were informed that they require a vitamin K injection or oral supplement. Something that the office should have mentioned over the phone. Not only did the front office's lack of filtering customers at the door and over the phone waste our time, it wasted their time as well. Something that a potential customer should not have to eat.

Be aware that they don't care about you as a client the bottom line is the money. So be sure if there are estimates or financials you call the office directly because according to the office management email is a perfectly acceptable primary contact source for the email you may magically never receive. But again Dr. Anna is the best.

I chose Wake Orthodontics and could not be happier. As a geriatric patient with a mouth full of problems, I was not expecting much. I told Dr. Collie I just wanted a pretty smile. Wake Orthodontics with Dr. Collie have far exceeded all expectations. I arrive about five minutes before my appointment and am seen almost immediately. There is an office in Smithfield which is extremely convenient. HIs staff are knowledgeable, friendly, encourage questions and get answers. The time, effort and work done on my teeth are amazing. As I have watched my mouth turn from a mess into one that creates a pretty smile, I feel so very grateful to Dr. Collie and his staff. For youths, I have talked with dozens of his youth patients and their parents. I have not heard a single complaint or concern. Their entire focus seems to be to work with you and to satisfy you while maintaining a high level or pride in the end result.

My oldest daughter was showing issues with alignment at four years old. They charged ONE price, and worked with her for eleven years, to help her adult teeth come in straighter, using little bars and other tricks, so that her time with braces, and the trauma to her mouth and teeth was minimized. Having my younger daughter finish with orthodontic care was bitter-sweet, because this office and especially Dr. Collie are like part of the extended family.

I think I was more nervous than the kids to try out a new dentist after moving here, but in the end, I had nothing to worry about. First, from a special needs prospective, the staff here can't be beat. There were two technicians working on my daughter and they did an amazing job of putting her at ease while doing the cleaning. Cleaning can be difficult and traumatic for someone who cannot easily open their mouth, lean in this way, tell when it hurts, etc. I was able to sit with her legs in my lap on the chair, and she was relaxed and did not express discomfort at any point. I really appreciated the time and care they gave to my daughter. For my other two, this was the little guy's first appointment, and my middle's first experience with cavities! Again, both instances were far better than expected. The staff is very friendly and patient, which is refreshing when a lot of their day can be accompanied by screaming children. I've never seen anyone "frazzled' or impatient, and they are incredibly receptive to discomfort or fear. The waiting room is great, and the best part--they give tokens to take to the prize machines after the cleaning! My middle child still talks about how fun that is. If I had to offer a criticism (always leave room for improvement, right?) the bar stools in the private rooms are not super comfortable. They have great comfy benches and magazines in the general cleaning area. I cannot recommend Dr. Chandak and the staff at Brooks & Chandak enough. Dr. Chandak went out of her way to explain how everyone's cleaning habits and growth were progressing, and what we could do at home to improve their dental health. Incredibly kind and professional.
