I had implants done at this office. Within 5 days I was suffering from extreme jaw and nerve pain…read more I went in for the 2 week check and Dr said implants looked fine. I told him I had been to urgent care for nerve and jaw pain. He replied the resulting pain was out of his "scope of care". He suggested I go to UNC oral facial pain I did and they confirmed damage to trigeminal nerve and muscle pain around jaws and throat This office never contacted me again until it was time for crowns 3 months later. Told staff member about condition. She replied " haven't you been to an oral surgeon?"I replied, "I was never referred by your office" I have seen neurologist and pain Dr.s 14 months later I'm still having pain. Before the procedure I filled out a health questionnaire but I did not have a detailed health history consult for implants. I was asked to sign a release 10 minutes before procedure about possible complications. I would suggest anyone getting implants, especially older patients to go to an Oral surgeon and get an appointment with detailed health history before getting implants. It's very important to understand the risks fully. This has really made life very very hard.

I had my first appointment with Klooster Dental on April 1. I had xrays and an exam. I had asked…read moreto have my teeth cleaned, but during my exam they told me that I needed "deep tissue cleaning" and that they refused to do any other cleaning in the meantime. I have not had my teeth cleaned in over a year and needed a cleaning. I cannot afford all the work they "planned" for me and asked to at least have a regular cleaning for the time being. I was refused. I will not be returning to Klooster Family Dentistry. Their complete lack of understanding of a senior citizen with limited budget has made the decision for me. I guess they think that having NO cleaning is supposed to somehow encourage me to spend the big bucks for the deep cleaning, but when you don't have the money, they don't care.

I don't have a google account so am providing a review on Yelp. After much research online, I…read morefound Bass & Watson Family Dental--reading how many patients had such good experiences as described in their reviews. My primary concern was that the practice have pleasant and professional dentists and staff and that they be current on all dental-related technology. Having moved from Florida in April, I felt a little spoiled with the dentist I had seen for more than 15 years. I was not disappointed with my visit to Bass & Watson and feel like I have found the dental practice I hoped for. All front desk staff were friendly, professional, and helpful--greeting me with a smile and welcoming words. Allison brought me back to the treatment area--ensuring that I was fully informed about how the visit would proceed, the time it would take, describing everything she was doing, and making extra efforts to make me comfortable along the way. She is a gem. Upon meeting Dr. Watson, I was relieved because it was obvious he was detail oriented, professional, and experienced--and he also had a terrific chair-side manner. I'm no stranger to the dentist office after having a lot of work done on my teeth over the past 3 decades, so I know what feels right in a dental office environment and what doesn't. After this first visit, I'm totally glad that I chose this practice for my dental care. Thank you to all of the people at Bass & Watson who I met and interacted with today.

I have extreme anxiety visiting the dentist. When I moved to Raleigh a year ago, I began my search…read moreand Bass and Watson Family Dental stood out. The front desk team was extremely kind and knowledgeable. They were patient with me while I asked questions and recommended Dr. Bass based on my needs. When I went in for my consultation, Dr. Bass listened to all my concerns and answered any questions I had. He also provided me a treatment plan that worked best for my wallet. When I started the treatment plan, he allowed me to schedule when it was best for me, explained step by step expectations, allowed me to choose something to watch on the TV. He also provided me a neck pillow as I suffered from a car accident. He would take breaks as I needed and allowed me to hold onto a tool (suction tool) to allow my to use it when I needed and this helped me feel I was in control. The treatment was quick, painless, and my teeth look beautiful. This place is absolutely amazing. Everyone on staff is talented and kind. Dr. Bass put my mind and anxiety at ease. I LOVE going to the dentist now! Thank you Bass and Watson family !!!
