I'm in Clayton and it was for the Cary office but I said sure, because I'm in pain and preferred not to wait. I arrived at the office today for my appt and they told me it was in February. They were going to see me anyway, thankfully after driving 40 minutes, but then I was told they didn't have a referral. When I spoke to the person on the phone the previous day they assured me they called my dentist and had the referral all ready and not to worry about it. I don't know if the person making the appts is playing games with people or they are just that unorganized but I ended up walking out and will never go back. If they are this incompetent for a consult I can't imagine the nightmare of having actual surgery at this place.

We decided to go to Urgent Care, since he was careless, and they said it was infected and started her on antibiotics immediately. No one seemed to have the time to care about my daughter and I greatly urge you to consider a different place to take your child for wisdom teeth surgery, if you love and care for your child. While the dentist who performed the extraction was professional and efficient, the subsequent care provided by the dental assistant was unacceptable. The assistant struggled significantly with the impressions, requiring three painful attempts that left my mouth raw and sore. Furthermore, she fabricated a temporary bridge that was bulky and ill-fitting, then proceeded to cement it without the Doctors authorization. The doctor eventually had to intervene to remove and fix the work. Which meant more unnecessary work had to be done. This lack of technical proficiency resulted in an unnecessarily long and "borderline traumatizing" appointment. I strongly feel this assistant requires further training before performing these procedures on patients again! However, the front desk staff is super sweet and nice. His bedside manner is superb! He took the time to get to know my daughter and to put her mind at ease...and he even called to personally check on her after we went home following the extraction. So, they refund the money and then about two months later I get a call from a collection agency over the bill. First they told me there was no appointment, but then I told them there was and they found it and then claimed I never spoke to Aspen Dental. I asked how could their be an appointment if I never spoke with Aspen Dental? Then, they got testy with me about it and after I was a bit agitated they started getting belligerent about it. The second woman I spoke with hung up on me when I asked how they have this stuff so mixed up. Apparently, she took offense at me calling her ma'am and shot back SIR! I had seen their commercials on television frequently, but I can tell you that those commercials are all window dressing. They couldn't accommodate my 87 year old mother in a wheelchair. I had to stand her up for some of this circus. Find ANY other dental office than Aspen. Now, I have the unpleasant fiasco of having to deal with their office again. I would NEVER go back to Aspen Dental after this experience. Ridiculous to not do a procedure, refund the money, then send a collection agency calling for payment for a procedure they were unable to do. This place is incompetence on steroids!
