I've been using Prosperity Cleaners since moving to the area about three years ago. I've always…read morethought they were on the expensive side, especially at roughly $5 to $7 or more per shirt, but the work got done and, until now, the pricing was really my only complaint. Unfortunately, my most recent experience completely changed my opinion. I dropped off 15 shirts and was given a receipt showing a total of $79. When I returned to pick them up, I was charged $108. That is almost a $30 increase from the price on the receipt I was given. I politely questioned the difference and showed them my $79 receipt. I was told that some of my shirts had to be hand pressed because of the material, which resulted in additional charges. My issue is simple. They had the shirts in front of them when I dropped them off and gave me a receipt for $79. If certain shirts required special handling that would increase the price by nearly $30, I should have been told before the work was performed. What bothered me even more was the explanation that this is why they do not charge until pickup, because the price can change. Really? I can understand a small adjustment under unusual circumstances, but going from $79 to $108 is roughly a 37% increase from the price I was originally given, without notifying me or getting my approval. What also concerns me now is that I rarely bring my original receipt when I pick up my clothes. Normally, they simply look up my order using my phone number and I pay whatever amount comes up. This time I happened to have the receipt with me, which is the only reason I noticed the discrepancy. I cannot say whether this has happened on previous orders, but after this experience, I certainly wonder. My advice to other customers is simple: keep your receipt and compare the quoted price to what you are actually charged at pickup. For three years, I accepted paying their higher prices because they provided a service I was generally satisfied with. But I cannot accept being quoted one amount, having the work performed, and then being told at pickup that I owe substantially more. The cleaning itself was fine. This review is about the pricing practice and how the situation was handled. After three years as a customer, they have lost my business. If I could give zero stars based on this experience, I would.

I love the family vibes and authentic feel of The Drycleaners. I had a big event and needed a suit tailored in like less than 3-4 days and before a major holiday. The suit ran big and was long/boxy. When I tell you, the tailor took my measurements quickly and efficiently and got work. Now, I paid a pretty price BUT I know I paid for her dedicated service, expertise, and her time because she is an absolute pro! I picked my suit up on time, and with no issues. I loved the outcome and took this experience as a time to enjoy my first custom suit that I will use for events in the future. Thank you!

I used Yelp to reach out to a number of Wash/Dry/Fold places. Clean All was quick to respond and offered very reasonable rates. They even made suggestions for me to pass on to the repair people. I guess that makes sense because people who run laundromats have lots of with broken equipment. Anyway, I dropped off a bunch of laundry and it was clean, dry, and folded the following morning. They did a great job and even listened to my requests for some minor special handling. While I was there, I learned they also wash larger items, like weighted blankets, take in dry cleaning, and do alterations. Frankly, before this I never even realized they were there, and I've gone past there store 100s of times. I'll certainly use them for WDF the next time I need it. That may be in a few days since, sadly, the circus is still in town.

The pants looked fine when I moved around. I prepaid for the service so no surprises at pickup but the fee per pants was exorbitant and she gave me an almost 3 week pickup. I picked up the pants today and they're too short. It looks like I'm wearing highwaters. On top of that, there is almost a 1 inch difference in length between the 3 pants. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! I brought my wedding dress to this place to be dry cleaned before getting…read morealterations. I picked it up before taking to get altered, and the owner brought the dress to my car, saying she didn't want me to put wrinkles in it. I got to the alterations place and realized there were stains on the inside of the dress that were not there when I dropped it off to be cleaned. I called and explained this to the owner, who then claimed the stains were there when she received the dress and that she couldn't get them out. (They were in fact NOT there when I dropped it off, and if that were the case, why would she not say anything to me when I picked up the dress?) Now realizing the whole reason she walked the dress out to the car for me was because she didn't not want me to see the dress, I drove back to her business and demanded a refund. The full amount was $180, but she then refused to refund me the full amount, and took twenty dollars off for a shawl part of the dress that was detachable- which was NOT a separate charge on the receipt, but was included in the $180. So she essentially stained my wedding dress, lied about it, and refused to pay me back the full amount. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN, AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU.
