Cheesesteak
Mackenzie F.

Bruno's is soooo good! I can't speak more highly about Bruno's! Wonderful place for a delicious, fresh, and well-made hoagie. Today was national cheesesteak day so I had to celebrate with a cheesesteak, of course! It was a packed sandwich, made with fresh bread and topped with melted American cheese, and onions. Absolutely stop here for a great hoagie - you will not be disappointed!

Medium meatball

Been several times to this location and both times the sandwiches were delicious! Plenty of meat & toppings. Only complaint would be the sodas are bottled only.

Be patient as the food does take a little while if they're busy, but they give you an estimated wait time & I promise it's worth the wait. I LOVED my Union Cheesecake- hot and flavorful with gooey cheese. I recommend stopping here. They have other alcohol options too- not just beer.

I was so thankful for the friendliness and responsiveness of the owners and set it to meet my family here. It exceeded expectations and is a great place in general to come with friends. Located in an old grocery store, the restaurant and beer bar is completely new. The main area has various sized tables and a few bar seats at the back. Everyone orders at the counter, so separate tabs are fine. They have a great draft beer selection, other drinks, and a fun food menu of smash burgers and cheesesteaks. I ordered the spicy cheesesteak and it was one of my favorite meals of the trip; prices are reasonable for the large portion size, you can easily share one. The bartenders were all welcoming and friendly, everyone working served whoever came up so it was efficient. To the left are refrigerators with packaged beer to go. Behind those are a hallway to the restrooms with mostly macro beers to be enjoyed at the location. This also leads to a really fun game room with pool, darts, pinball, and arcade games. I'd say my favorite part is the refrigerator to the right of the bar, which has all single cans and bottles to be enjoyed on premises. They have an amazing selection of local and regional craft beer, cans are super fresh. I personally had a bunch of very fresh Trillium, which is an excellent brewery I can't get at home. Overall, if you're a beer fan in the Lebanon area and looking for a bottle shop or fun place to hang out, this is it.

I want to know why one of them didn't help me to get my order?????? That's no dam sense! Ti's as if all they do is seat people? From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the tone for a cozy, memorable evening. A real…read morefire crackled in the stone fireplace in the lounge, and we were ushered into a charming stone dining room that felt like stepping back in time. The building itself clearly carries history -- I actually had to duck slightly to pass through the low stone archway leading to our table. It added to the character and intimacy of the space. We started with the tuna tartare, which was a standout. I'm "that aunt" in the family -- the one who encourages the kids to try new things -- and this dinner was my monthly outing with my nephew. So yes, raw tuna hit the table. It turned out to be the perfect introduction. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and approachable, it made trying something new feel effortless. A total win. He ordered chicken nuggets, and while that might sound simple, they were clearly house-made, fresh-cut, and thoughtfully prepared. For chicken nuggets, they were excellent. My scallops, unfortunately, didn't quite land for me. The accompanying preparation felt overly complex and ended up overpowering the natural delicacy of the scallops. That said, the menu offers plenty of other intriguing options, and I'd absolutely return to explore more. Service throughout the evening was kind, attentive, and prompt -- exactly what you hope for during a relaxed dinner out. Overall, a warm, character-filled spot with standout starters and welcoming staff. Looking forward to the next visit.

You get charged if you want to substitute instead of chips but Tiny Tim wouldn't be satisfied with that side salad. And to piggy back on that my "large" house salad with added grilled chicken was the same portion as that tiny side salad but with a grilled chicken with it. Look at the older photos and you can see the difference on the side salad. Like I know they buy premade salad. Add a little more at least to the "large" salad. The crab cake looked about the same as the other and still tasted good to my husband. So they still charge you the full price of a side salad to substitute and just add it in the price. So it would be easier to get a salad on the side and get what they give you. We are spending our money to dine at least make it worth it. The last 4 pictures show our charges. Our waitress was nice and the food is good but not for those prices. Shame on you bluebird for the salad portions and not letting patrons know there isn't a discount on substituting your sides.

The place has a very casual, come-as-you-are bar-and-kitchen vibe, which fits the area well. Nothing felt overly polished or fancy, and that is not a criticism. It seemed like the kind of local spot where people can just show up, relax, and get a solid meal. The problem was the service on this visit. We showed up right around the breakfast-to-lunch transition and thought we had made it in time for breakfast, but apparently not. We got seated pretty quickly, which made it seem like things were moving along, but then we sat there for about 20 minutes with water glasses and no water, and really no meaningful attention at all. By the time someone finally came over with the water, we were already done and decided to head somewhere else down the street. It was also getting fairly loud while we were sitting there, and the staff seemed tired or stretched thin, so I would not be surprised if we caught the place at a bad moment, maybe during a shift change or just an awkward transition between breakfast and lunch. The restaurant was busy, which usually says something good, and the food we saw going to other tables looked pretty solid. That is why I landed on 3 out of 5. This was not a bad experience in the usual sense. It was more of a non-experience. We never got far enough to judge the food, and I do not think it would be fair to hammer the place over one oddly timed visit. But sitting that long without even getting water was enough for us to leave.
