I ordered a Cheesesteak with Mushrooms and Onions. I gotta say, as a Cheesesteak connoisseur, I pride myself with finding the best cheesesteaks in any area. While I think Bruno's is up there on my list, I cannot say that they are #1. What I WILL say....is this was a perfectly fantastic sub. This thing had just about checked all of my boxes. It had enough seasoning on the beef that it didnt overpower it. The bread was soft but had great density. I don't believe it to be fresh made there but it was definitely one of the better rolls I've seen on a sub. There was adequate Cheese : Steak ratio. I opted for the cooper sharp and would get it again. The one thing that held me back from making this my top cheesesteak in the Lebanon area....No bacon option. I cannot stress this enough...Bacon, mushrooms and sauteed onions are the perfect combo for a cheesesteak and this lack of a bacon option is preventing me from giving this the #1 spot on my list. Bruno's, if I am mistaken here let me know! I would be happy to change my rating if I can see Bacon as an option when ordering a cheesesteak from your online menu. I did not go to the physical location but from what I can see from the road, it seems like a decently newer building with standard seating. I was able to save half of the sub for lunch the next day and can confirm it was just as tasty as the day prior. Overall this was a 4/5 rating for the sub and the same for the shop until I can see bacon as an option for the "build your own cheesesteak" menu item. No pic or banana for scale as I ate everything. I would say they had one of the better selection of hot sandwiches around. Cheesesteaks, melts, paninis are what I usually order. If you follow my reviews you know I am a huge hoagie fan. Been to Philly and had the best of Steaks... Bruno's Special Steak is by far the best I've had and it's right here in my hometown of Lebanon! I added mushrooms and onions and omitted the marinara and my husband had the same and went back for a half meatballs w/onions and sweet peppers and it was just as delicious The prices are just about right. I've paid far more for subs that honestly just can't compete with these guys. Staff was friendly and food was out quickly. Plenty of parking too. We tried this place cause we're new to this part of town..every time I got a cheesesteak we got it different... first time they forgot onions, second time was perfect and the third time we got our steaks with Swiss? There aren't many good lunch places in Lebanon, and this spot outshines the rest by a lot! The staff are extremely friendly and remember your name. When ordering to go, they come out from behind the counter and hand deliver you the food, a small but definitely noticeable action. The bread is fresh and soft and the food is delicious!
