    Chicken cheesesteak

The best cheesesteaks in Lancaster county. Super friendly staff. Very clean and bright. Try the Bruno sauce!!

It's been quite some time since I've been back to Bruno's but was in the area and stopped by. They are located in the same small shopping strip as before however they moved next door. Now, this location offers cheese steaks, which they previously didn't. Today, I got the Grilled Pastrami on Rye with slaw and thousand island dressing. I chose to dine in and did not wait long before my sandwich was ready. Service was friendly and quick. The sandwich was good. It was warm, juicy and flavorful. I must admit that I thought the price was a little more than I think it should be but the sandwich was delicious. The shop seemed as busy as I previously remembered. Now that I know they have cheese steaks I will plan on returning to try one, especially since I know Bruno's gets Liscio rolls.

The best cheesesteaks around! Can't go wrong with the cold hoagies as well. Very friendly staff too!

New, expanded dining area looks fantastic! Plenty of seating, including a high counter.

I've been visiting less and less lately because I've been disappointed by the staff's lack of correct mask wearing and basic hygiene on my last few visits. A couple months ago, I had to remind one of the ladies not to use the same gloves she uses on the register when she's making the sandwiches. Defeats the purpose of the gloves. Tried another visit recently just to see if things have changed, but they haven't. The lady making our sandwiches had her mask hanging, not even covering the top of her mouth, and after she wrapped them up, she sneezed -- no covering her mouth, no elbow use or turning away from the food station. COVID or no COVID, that's just gross. I don't want to have to remind folks to be mindful of things like this, so I'll be steering clear for a while, and it definitely has dampened my enthusiasm for recommending the place.

Another great experience and I continue to have lunch here! Never a bad comment from anyone I bring.

Yelp reviews led my family to Bruno's, which was easy to find in a strip mall. If you were to ask Kid #1 in our family to name the one food she'd eat if she could only eat one thing for the rest of her life, the answer would immediately be "Sandwiches." As for myself, a good hoagie (aka sub) is only beaten by pizza as my "All Time Favorite Food EVER," so I was quite excited to try a new sandwich joint. The staff was super friendly, very efficient, and totally top notch. They deserve props for their lovely smiles and pleasant demeanors. Various meats, cheeses, toppings, and breads were available. The menu lists certain combinations (e.g. Turkey & Provolone), but we were assured that toppings could be customized. We ordered a variety of items, including soup, the #1 Italian, and a Roast Beef & Provolone. The meat/cheese on the subs was ample, though none were overstuffed. They were sprinkled with a seasoning that brought a lot of flavor to the party, although I didn't love it on the roast beef. Big Daddy's pastrami on rye sandwich was hearty, but the cole slaw was a bit too sweet for his liking. The rolls (fresh baked and shipped in each morning) were delicious. The soft roll was tender and light. The hard roll had the perfect amount of chew. The #1 Italian sub was, indeed, the best Italian sub I have ever eaten. I think the proscuitto and the sprinkling of seasoning is what sent it from "good" to "epic." If you're wondering which sub to order, I don't think you'll go wrong with the Italian.

    Sad sandwich from Bruno's

This is their #2 Italian sub $11.00 for this sub.....if you like a sub with meat sliced so thin you can't taste it, then this is the place for you... you have the price point high enough to put a respectable amount of meat on your subs. Then there was a funny taste to it, that almost tasted like a perfume/lotion? Disappointing is an understatement. Ambiance was very minimal, not much in decor, the lady at the register was very nice. However, I don't see me going there again, let alone order food from them, for my next large event.

I've given this place a few chances to impress, but they are not doing it for me. First, I'd say the service is not very friendly. The ladies that run this place seem very rushed and not too courteous to customers. The sandwiches have a couple of redeeming qualities, namely the Amorosa roll and the quality meats (don't order the tuna). That said they don't make the sandwich well, no sauces, no Mayo, just a small squirt of oil. So you get a very dry, tasteless sandwich. Since they are around the corner from me, I've been trying to like the place and give it a shot. I'd take the sandwich back home to put some Mayo or more oil on it to help it along. That said, today was the worst. I stopped in for a tuna sandwich and ordered "Bruno's tuna salad." The lady gave me attitude and then they clearly just put a plain can of tuna on a roll for me. No "salad" and they didn't even drain the water! Totally done with this place

Update, 3/31/16: My job has kept me in PA for much longer than anticipated, and my office is within walking distance of Bruno's. I have frequented this establishment more than I can keep count (as you can see by my number of check-ins.) I have never been disappointed. Always clean, always quick and always what I expect. The staff has always been friendly during my visits. When my project wraps up and I leave PA, I will miss my little Bruno's and their sandwiches. A few tips: - Bread is delivered daily from Philadelphia. - Only open during the weekday. - Closes at 2pm. - Accepts cash/credit/debit. - Call ahead for large orders. - They are very popular so don't wait too late in the day to grab lunch because they run out of items due to high demand! - They also sell salads, chips, soup, teas, sodas and cupcakes.

This is a small shop that offers homemade soups, salads, paninis and sweets for takeout. The menu is small and varies from day to day, but you won't be disappointed. I told my wife, let's break tradition and serve something different for Thanksgiving. Instead of a supermarket ham, let's buy a smoked ham from the Amish country. I found online S. Clive Weaver. I called the store and spoke with the manager. I asked about the store hours as well as Thanksgiving Ham. (I'm thinking it's going to be a blood bath, 1000 people running into the store screaming HAM!) The manager assured me this is not the case, there will be plenty of boneless, smoked ham for us to choose. We pulled up to, it seems like a mini supermarket. Once inside, it felt like when the Wizard of Oz went from Black & White to color. There is EVERYTHING one would need for a holiday dinner. The first thing I noticed was the beautifully arrangement of baskets. There were multiple sizes of meat and cheese baskets, I never had a sweet salami? The blocks of cheese, were cubed and served to our Thanksgiving guests. Everyone loved the unique flavors that are not regional to where I live. They also had a pie station with many different flavors of homemade pies. I brought home a Shoo Fly Pie? Filled with the warm spices of the holiday, another hit with my Family. Now for the Ham, there was a wall of ham! Ham everywhere. I chose a hefty porker, it was very easy to cook. Again, everyone loved the flavor of the smoked ham that I snuck across state lines. S. Clive Weaver, it was a pleasure to shop at your establishment.

We popped in on a Saturday afternoon for a laidback lunch. Had it not been 100+ degrees outside, we might have opted for one of their alfresco tables. Alas, we decided on our customary bar stools. There were only a few other patrons around, and the bar was completely empty. The draw to this specific Isaac's is their house beers. I wasn't expecting much, to be completely honest. I'm no beer snob, but I know my way around a brew, and I just expected a mediocre experience given the deli-vibes. I was very pleasantly surprised by, not just the selection of beers, but the quality of the ones we tried. I had a pilsner - those can be a hit or miss. This was a homerun. Maybe it was the sweltering heatwave, but it was cold, refreshing, and no bitter aftertaste. I ordered a turkey, swiss sandwich on a pretzel bun. The menu didn't indicate it would be served warm, but it was. I'll never complain about melty cheese! Who doesn't love a pretzel bun? The location is right downtown, so parking is a toss-up.
