However, moving my items to a storage unit was an easy, enjoyable process. When I asked about the fee discrepancy, the answer was "tax". I think better communication before the fact would have solved these issues. If you use them bear in mind your items may be transported with others' and this could result in not enough space in truck. Make sure you make an accurate inventory before you call. Lessons from my experience. I still owe them $5.

I've dealt with awful movers in the past but this company is beyond fantastic!…read more This move was not for myself, but for my parents, to Buffalo from Florida. First off, we were a little surprised at the price--seemed very fair--not used to seeing that. From the time they quoted my parents they fulfilled every promise exactly as stated and on time. Every person they dealt with was kind, helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. Once the truck got here I had the pleasure of dealing with several employees at the Tonawanda office. Lisa, Jerry, Kevin and Ed--all incredibly helpful, professional and enthusiastic about their jobs--just a wonderful experience! I did not dread calling, I never had any problem or concern that wasn't handled immediately and satisfactorily. I will be moving in the spring and I will not have to look too far to find movers! I would not hesitate in recommending this company! Moving is stressful, there is no way around that fact, but ABF made this as easy as humanly possible and my entire family really appreciates that!

I was reading someone's complaint/review online about another moving company and saw information about We Move 4U. I contacted We Move 4U and spoke with Peter, the owner and made an appointment for him to come over to do a walk through and give a quote. Peter showed up promptly for the appointment and followed up after as promised, with a quotation. He was friendly and professional in all our interactions. He was transparent with the price. There were no hidden costs and no additional costs. The rate was an hourly rate and my quote was based on the estimated total amount of time it was supposed to take, including travel time, for the move. They collected the payment in full after unloading all the items in my new place. There were different payment options available. They use enclosed trailers, not trucks, to do the moves and they used one trailer to move all my items (from a 3 bedroom house) in one trip. The items were packed carefully and in such a way that everything fitted neatly. I couldn't believe it. The crew (two guys each named Dave, and a younger guy) worked fast, carefully, and efficiently to load and unload my items. Thanks again Peter and crew. I was satisfied and impressed with the service and have been recommending We Move 4U by word of mouth ever since.

When I scheduled it I made it admittedly clear that they can't smoke cigarettes or weed while working with my stuff and they didn't listen. My stuff smelled like weed. Which they weren't, kept getting pushed back and back. They finally showed up at 6:45pm. The packing went ok up until them bouncing my washer, My dryer and freezer down the stairs. When they got to my new home my stuff reaked with the smell of weed. As they are bring in my family air loom dining room table one of the movers using the wrong bit to put in and most likely strip the screw in the table. Definitely wouldn't recommend or ever use them again!!

Also stopping at a storage unit along the way out of the city. Big oof! We all know what Toronto traffic is like. However, Jason and his team put all my worries to rest. He also came to look at our place a few days before moving day to assess everything. On moving day, his team packed and wrapped everything very quickly. They were professional, asked questions, kept in contact on the phone during each process of the move and were very friendly. We originally asked for a team of 5 and two trucks but ended up with a team of 4 at the start and 1 truck. Reduced down to a team of 3 at our new place to unpack everything. We were charged accordingly to the changes. No hidden fees or BS, everything was told to us as changes were being made and explained again when the bill came.
