I like that Brumby's don't use preservatives and such. It means that it goes off a lot quicker than your supermarket loaf, but eh, who cares? I'll eat a loaf in 2 days.
Lots of varieties, I think I've even seen spelt bread in there.
Sausage rolls are a bit meh, but the pies are passable.
My recommendations are the garlic twist to mop up your pasta sauce, or on a chilly morning, grab a bruffin... the breakfast muffin. It's gone through a lot of changes over the years, but the latest incarnation is pretty good.
Staff here are also lovely. The manager is always happy and perky, even at an ungodly hour on a cold, wintery morning. To be honest, it's the staff who get this place above a 3 star. read more
